Pure Love Yami (Atem) X You Chapter 4

"Morning already?" you yawned.

Just then, you heard a light knocking at the door.

"My queen? Are you awake yet?" a female voice asked quietly.

You smiled. "Yes, I'm awake."

"May I come in?"

"Sure."

The door opened and a eqyptian girl with brown hair who looked about your age or a bit older stepped in smiling.

"Good morning my queen." she cheered happily.

"Good morning Mana." you greeted back.

You then looked around.

Your husband was not there in the bed next to you or anywhere in the room...

Seeing this Mana replied "Oh, he is away on an important meeting, my queen. He told me to tell you he will be back around nightfall."

"Oh alright..." you answered her, a little bit sad.

You knew that he had his duties as pharaoh to fullfill, but that still didn't mean you wouldn't miss him from time to time when he was gone...

Mana caught the sad look on your face.

'My poor queen...I can't stand seeing her frown!' she thought.

You and Mana were like best friends. You would always talk to each other and be there for one another.

"I know!!" Mana said cheerfully startling you a bit, making you look up.

"Huh? What is it?" you asked her.

"Me and you are going to have a GIRLS DAY OUT!!!"

"A girls day out?"

"Please my queen, hurry getting dressed! Today is going to be so much fun!" Saying that, Mana happily skipped out the door.

You smiled and laughed quietly. You then went over to your closet and put on one of your expensive rich silk linen gowns.

They felt so comfortable!

When you were done, your other servants came in and brushed your hair, applied on your gold jewelry, and put your traditional queen eqyptian make-up on.

When you stepped out of your room, you saw Isis waiting for you in the hall.

"Good morning my queen." She greeted bowing.

"Good morning." you answered.

She began escorting you to the breakfast area.

"Mana seems rather happy today, " Isis stated, "If I may ask my queen, do you know what she is planning?"

You laughed softly.

You and Isis were also very good friends, and you could tell she knew when Mana was up to something.

"Well, she told me that today we are going to have a 'girls day out'." you smiled.

Isis smiled with you. "Let us just hope she does not use any of her magic skills. She is still in training by Mahado. The last thing we need is for her to accidently transform your head into a pigs head! I do not think the pharaoh would be too pleased..."

You laughed as you and Isis walked into the breakfast area.

"Speaking of Mahado, him, Karim , Shada, Aknadin, and Priest Seto are with the pharaoh at the important meeting." Isis informed you.

You nodded. "Isis...do you know what the meeting is about?" you had to ask her.

Isis paused and bit her lip.

"The...pharaoh told me not to tell you because he did not want you to worry..."

"I see..."

"But, my queen, if you really would like to know...it is about the Thief Bakura. He has escaped from his prison once again and is on the loose. The pharaoh and the rest of the Sacred Guardians are discussing this important matter and are increasing our defenses. We are taking all precaution necessary..."

You could not help but smile a bit.

Atem did not want to worry you..and wanted to protect you.

He loved you so much.

And, you felt the same way about him.

Isis noticed the warm smile on your face.

"He loves you very much my queen..."

"I know..." you gently answered the warm smile never leaving your face.

Out of nowhere a voice suddenly said "Oh my queen! I cannot wait for you and the pharaoh to have a baby!!"

This caused you to blush and turn around to where the familiar voice was coming from.

"M-Mana!"

Mana giggled and happily ran over to you.

"The whole kingdom is wondering when you two will have a little prince or princess!"

You looked over at Isis.

She looked down sheepishly "Yes...there is much talk about it in the kingdom my queen..."

"I tried talking about it with the pharaoh this morning, and I could have sworn he blushed and then he quickly walked away saying he had to hurry!" Mana chuckled.

"Shame on you Mana!" Isis scolded "It is none of our business whether they decide to have a child yet or not!"

"I know Isis, " Mana pouted "But, they are so in love!! Everybody can tell! We are all getting so excited for them to have a baby!"

Through the whole disscussion your face was flushed red.

"I know!!" Mana clasped her hands cheerfully, turning her head towards you "I will set the mood for you two! I will set an order out for more of those imported scented oils and candles!! Oh, it will be so very romantic!!"

If possible your face got even redder.

"Hush Mana! That is enough of that!" Isis whispered.

"But-!!"

So...everbody was talking about how great it would be for you and the pharaoh to have a baby?

Of course they knew what you and him had to do to have a child...

Not that...you and him didn't...already...

You remembered your honeymoon night...

"...!!!"

Your face looked like a bright ripe tomato just thinking about that!!!

You wondered how Atem was taking the news of this "baby talk" from around the kingdom...according to Mana he blushed too and then tried to avoid when the topic came up...

You wondered...was he...maybe thinking about having a baby and considering the thought?

Your blush was burning brightly.

You had to change the subject!

You quickly interupted and asked "Um, Isis, why are you not at the important meeting?"

Isis and Mana paused in thier bickering and looked over at you.

"Oh, the pharaoh wished for me to watch over you my queen." Isis answered.

"Oh, I see...oh wow! The foods here!" with that you made your way to the breakfast table.

A servant bowed and pulled out your chair for you.

Isis blinked at you while Mana giggled.

"I wonder if she's considering my idea with the oils and candles..."

"Mana! Enough!" Isis snapped.

(A Little While Later)

"It's so beautiful!!" Mana cheered happily stretching in the sunlight.

You, Mana, and Isis were outside by the river with a few guards watching you from a distance.

You closed your eyes and smiled as a breeze blew and cooled your face.

You took off your sandals and dipped your feet into the water.

Isis sat down next to you and did the same.

Mana squealed and jumped into the water splashing both you and Isis.

"Mana!!" Isis cried wiping the water from her eyes and dripping eyeliner.

You couldn't help but laugh, you were also very grateful that the splash missed your face and didn't mess up your makeup and get it in your eyes...

"Sorry you two..." Mana apologized sheepishly causing Isis to glare at her.

You giggled and then got up to go walk through the field of flowers near the river.

You could hear Isis and Mana splashing each other with water and laughing.

You saw some beautiful flowers that caught your eye and knelt down to pick them...

"These will look very nice in the room..." you mumured smiling.

Just then...you felt a splash of water hit you in the rear.

You gasped and looked to see Mana pointing her wand at you laughing.

She must have used her magic to carry the water towards you.

"Mana! You did that to the queen!" Isis cried horrified.

Mana continued to giggle and you burst out laughing.

Just then, an idea hit you.

"Mana, Isis..."

They looked at you.

"What is it my queen?" Mana asked.

"I was thinking...maybe, could go to the village trade market..."

Isis and Mana gasped and quickly scrambled over to you.

"My queen! That is too dangerous! It is forbidden to have you go there!"

"Yes! Absolutely! WAY too dangerous!" Mana added.

"But...why...?" you asked.

"It is for your safety my queen! If something happend to you, there is no telling what that would do to the pharaoh!" Isis panicked.

"It would break his heart..." Mana added sadly.

"Oh..." you sighed.

Looks like that was out of the question...or...maybe not...

A smile came to your face.

"Oh dear...my queen...what are you thinking?" Isis gasped.

"I think I have an idea..." Mana guessed.

"Mana, can you use your magic to put a sleep spell on the guards over there?"

"Well...yes...but..."

"Please my queen! Reconsider!!" Isis pleaded. She knew that she could not stop the queen from doing what she wanted. But, if the pharaoh found out that she let the queen wander around in the trade market when she and Mana were supposed to be watching her...oh no.

Speaking of Mana, she really wasn't helping the situation any...

"Okay...I know we can't do this, but, let's go! This will be fun!!"

Isis put her head in her hands and groaned.

This was horrible.

(At The Trade Market)

"Wow! It's so crowded!" you exclaimed looking around.

"Look! They have imported fruit over there from Rome!" Mana squealed.

"Please, my queen, let's go back to the castle now...before anyone notices..." Isis whispered begging.

Mana turned to Isis and frowned.

"You know what? You need more adventure in your life Isis!"

"My life is full of enough adventure thank you, Mana." Isis replied.

You, Isis, and Mana were wearing disquises so that no one would reconize that you were from the palace.

It was a smart idea since you had no body guards around...

How long had it been since the last time you were away from the palace?

It seemed...like forever.

You watched as a group of kids laughed and played.

A man was handing out free samples of homemade bread filled with berries.

He smiled at you and handed you a piece.

You thanked him and took it.

You tasted it...

It was delicious.

Of course it could not compare to the rich food at the palace, but still...

After a little bit more of sight seeing, you felt like you wanted to stay longer, but, you knew Isis was right and you had to head back to the palace now.

Just then, you heard shouting "STOP THIEF!!!!"

You looked in the direction of the yelling and commotion and saw...

"It's the thief Bakura!!" Mana gasped.

"I knew this was a bad idea! Please, my queen! We must hurry and get out of here!!" Isis whispered in horror.

The thief Bakura was running in the direction towards where you, Mana, and Isis were.

Following him were...the palace guards...

"Oh no..." you whispered.

Bakura ran smack into you knocking you down and used some dark magic trick to dissapear.

You stared after him.

'He...can use magic? No wonder he is so skilled at escaping!'

The guards stopped and panted.

"He got away..."

"Just great!!"

You panicked.

You hoped they would not notice you...

You looked over at Isis and Mana and you all began to tip toe away quietly when...

"My QUEEN?! What on earth are you doing here?!?!"

...

"...busted..." Mana mumbled.

Tristan: That's it! -throws a box of Trix cereal at Kalberry's head-

Kalberry: OUCH! Take this you! -counters him with a box of Lucky Charms-

Tristan: Ahhhh! I HATE that green leprocaun' guy on the box! Nooooo!

Kalberry: Heh heh heh...works EVERY time...-laughs wickedly- ANYWAY, you will wake up sometime later in the next chapter! You will find out why Kaiba is at your school too! And, we will also see what happens to you in your dream since you, Isis, and Mana were just discovered by the guards! Uh-oh...I have a feeling Yami (Atem) is not going to be too happy...Stay tuned!
