The train pulled into the next town and the siblings ran off the train and hailed a taxi. They gave direction and soon were sat in their mother’s living room explaining the whole thing to her.

“I’m sorry for not telling you mum, but I’m even more for coming here, I’ll just use the phone and then I will leave ok. No point Luke getting involved anymore then his is now.” Marianna muttered sadly

“Its ok dear, I understand, the phone is in the hall.”

She nodded and walked out of the room and dialled the number her boss had given her. It rang a few times before it was answered and his voice came through the speaker.

“Hello John Regent,”

“John, its Marianna,”

There was sigh on the other end of the line before he started talking again.

“I was worried about you Mari,”

“Look Kane’s guys were round at my brother’s place, we’re both fine and we are staying with a friend,” She wasn’t sure if it would be safe to say where she was, “I need you to come and get me or send some sort of transport for me to get back to headquarters.”

“Right, where should I meet you?”

She thought quickly, “Pick me up near the War Monument in Rickten in about ten minuets,”

She hung up before he could answer; she walked back into the living room and smiled at her mum.

“I’m leaving now, my main boss is taking me back to headquarters I’ll be fine there. Love you mum,” she said before kissing her on the cheek and leaving the house. She rolled up her sleeves and pulled the hood up on her track jacket. When she got to the monument he was there waiting for her. His face showed the grim truth of this affair.

“Come on Mari,” he said leading her back to his personal car

“I just need to get this sorted, the whole group needs to be taken in,” she said quickly as she buckled her seatbelt

“I know, I have trusted men working on bringing them in, all of them.” He added with a smile, “I’m sorry this had to happen to you, I don’t understand why it did but I swear I will fix it.”

“Thanks Regent I appreciate it,”

The rest of the drive back to the main offices was silent, they took the underground parking and a privet, well hidden, lift to the top floor to John Regent’s privet rooms. Marianna took a seat while he poured amber liquid into a glass.

“I’m sure you could do with this,” He said handing her it with a smile

“I’ve gone T-Total now John,” she replied placing the glass back on the desk in front of her

“Shame, do you mind if,” She shook her head and watched her boss tip the liquid down his throat.

Just as he finished his phone rang, he answered it quickly and was talking quietly and intently into the phone. He seemed to relax and looked over at Marianna with a smile before he hung up the phone.

“They have them, all of them.”

“That was quick,” she said surprised

“Not really, ever since I found out about this affair I have had men out looking for them to you its quick for me it’s been months to catch these guys.” He explained to her, “Your allowed to help with the interrogation.” He added with a smirk

“But we know everything,” she said rather confused

“You never got to finish your job, we need to know who has been supplying then with these drugs.”

She smiled and stood up and headed for the door

“Marianna,” she pun around and he threw her, her guns. She smiled and them and grabbed the holsters from a side bored and attached everything as well as extra ammo, “Welcome back to the family Mari,” he said with a laugh as she walked out of the room.
