Hakushaku to yosei story [part 2]

I hear the sound of the sea wave, hitting hard on the land. The boat is anxious and ready to take off. The captain of the ship started to shout for his men, and they all were running around to get the guests on the big luxury boat. Raven, Edgar and I are standing in front of this boat.

“Now Raven, I hope to see you again pretty soon. And take care of Lydia for me as you always did before. Also, if she found out about you, could you give her this letter then?” said Edgar, and gave the letter to Raven. Raven took it and then looked at me with those worry face again.

“Raven, have a nice trip and enjoy yourself too! Take this as a gift of your hard work and stayed by Edgar’s side for so long time. I don’t know how long, but I could tell you have been in prison for so long on Edgar’s neck!” I said, as Edgar gave me the look of what-is-this-nonsense-talk.

Raven’s face got a little more relaxed, and we could see the smallest smile from Raven at least. While Edgar then, couldn’t stop talking about the different treatment. The boat is starting to leave so Raven must say the last goodbye to us, and we watched Raven leaving up to that boat.

The boat, which reminds me of Titanic, sailed away as I watch it with the wavy feeling. The feeling of those peaceful and happiness sailed away after Edgar suggest about taking me to dinner. (I know, I am weird right?)

I couldn’t refuse the “invitation”, since he already planned this for a while. And just told me about it when we’re already half way there. While sitting there beside Edgar and see him smile bright for his exciting of this dinner. I wonder how Nico are right now at Edgar’s place. I wonder why Nico is lying about being here with me instead of Lydia.

When we finally arrived, we got the warm welcome by the maids who stood there in front of the restaurant. I start to have this Ouran feeling, but this is different anime we’re talking about though it’s almost the same atmosphere. Edgar gave the killer smile and smirk to the maids, which always made some of them faint and drools. (Me: please children don’t do this at home while you watch anime with bishie!)

In fact, I ignore Edgar’s action while wonder where we’re going to sit. And the place where going to sit, is outside of the restaurant, surrounded by red rose and we got the feeling of picnic outside then dinner!

“Welcome, my Lord!” said the butler and maids, who welcome me and him the warmest welcome you could say.

“Do you need anything more, my Lord?” said one of the maid, standing beside Edgar and blush.

I watch the maid and smiling to her, and almost laugh of Edgar’s kind word toward every girl he meet. Can this guy be serious in a relationship by a way?

Anyway, the made the maids and butler left, and it was only me and him alone. Yes, alone. I looked down on the table, seeing all those high class/expensive food shining, kind of wonder if I should eat it.

Again, I dear to look up at Edgar, who was staring at me all the time make me kind of nervous.

“I don’t know anyone have said this before, but you really do look cute when you blush!” said Edgar, smiling as ever. This made me avoid looking at him.

“Is there something that you can’t tolerate about me?” ask Edgar, this time. His voice changed from hyper and glad into deep and though full.

“Are you really the Earl? Even Lydia said to me you’re the real, but I don’t believe that. From where I lived, there was a rumor about you. That you are a slave, who cheated to be the Earl!” I said, and this time. I have the courage to look at him straight in the eye, seriously.

“May I ask where is the source you got this information?” ask Edgar, calmly.

“You heard me, from my town. Edgar, I don’t know your real goal, but I know you’re not the real Earl!” I said.

“Then tell me! How can you be sure? Do you really know my past? Can you see and tell what’s in my heart?” said Edgar, softly. I couldn’t answer him no matter what. So Edgar decided to change the subject, as he knew I cannot answer him.

“Look up in the sky, the stars are shinning bright and the moon is smiling at us!” said Edgar, as he kept his smooth, soft voice as he talked.

“Your eyes were also shinning tonight, like the first day I met you. I never forget those shinning eyes and your brown eyes remind me of chocolate!” said Edgar, as he starts to eat.

I close my eyes and blush a little. Yes, as you can see. I am with this completely flirtiest guy, then the guy from a school name Ouran.

We ate “peacefully”, while Edgar kept with his talk about the Queen and his job as the Earl and what we’re going to do. I wonder what his point talking about the Queen, but he got me interest. He knew, I am jealous of him for meeting the Queen in person. The Queen was kept from the publish; there were neither picture nor any normal people can meeting her.

I know that he wants me to be jealous of him. I have always wanted to meet the Queen when I was little. I always told this to Lydia, that I have always wanted to know about the royal family. I also wonder how the Earl is, because the story of the Earl and the Queen of fairies arrangement.

One of the dreams have come true. I met the Earl, which my imagine of the Earl kind of ruined, I didn’t imagine he would be like this. But I won’t complain of what I got to see. I wanted to stay here for a while, at least, until I must go back to my foster parent.
