As we came closer to the restaurant, we slowed down and started talking again.

"You can not believe how glad I am that you said yes, I was so nervous!"

"You can’t believe how glad I am you asked!"

There was a short pause, and then we burst out laughing. I don’t think that I’ve laughed as hard as I did then since, just before school finished, I was with my two friends, (Lizzi and Jemma) we were just walking past one of our old teachers. Who we’d really forgotten about, because he was head of key stage three, and we’d moved on to key stage four. Anyway we were walking past him, while he was facing the other way, and we like randomly started mouthing ‘I love you’, but then he turned around and was starring at us, we were nearly rolling on the floor, we were laughing so much.

We reached the restaurant; I took one look at the name and said:

"Are you sure, this place is really expensive!"

"Its fine, I just asked for an advance on my allowance."

"Do you have a reservation?" cut in a posh sounding voice.

"Yes, I do." saidJoe mimicking the voice.

"Name?"

"Jonas Brothers"

"What why would you…?" I started.

"Nick wanted a laugh!"Joe whispered, before I could finish.

"Hang on what? You’re Joe Jonas!" the waiter said recognising Joe, "My daughter loves you!"

"Great of all the waiters, we have to get the one who recognises me!"

"This way!" the waiter said regaining control. He led us to what looked like to the best table in the restaurant, it had a candle in the middle and everything! So romantic.

"This is so amazing, It’s so…" I stopped, before I embarrassed myself.

"It’s ok, I know I’m good!"

"Jerk!" I said laughing.

"Oh come on, it’s the rock star image!"

"You know I don’t mean it."

Once again time got away from us; I wish it would slow down! Before we knew it people were coming and leaving, and there was us just staying put. That was until we were kicked out. But we didn’t go home from there; we took a detour to the park. Yes it was dark, but that’s what made it so fun.

I fell over twice, just getting over the bridge and up the slide. It was so funny, when we got to the top, we just sat there looking over the perfect view of the river, with the reflections of the lights from the houses bouncing up from the water at us. The silence was kept by us both, as we were captured by our thoughts. After a while we stopped looking at each other long enough, to start talking again, it was amazing how much we had to talk about, considering that we’d hardly stopped talking since we met.

But unfortunately we were brought reluctantly back to earth, by an unexpected phone call.

"What!" I shouted down the phone.

"Beccie you need to get home now!" shouted a frantic sounding Roxi back.

"What!" I yelled even louder, "I didn’t think that curfew actually mattered."

"It does when your parents are coming to check on us in ten minutes."

"What!"

"Stop shouting and get home, or we’re all dead!"

I hung up and turned toJoe and he said:

"We’d better get you home then!"

"Hang on how…"

"Seriously, I could have heard your friend shouting down the phone from like a mile away."

I jumped up and surfed down the slide, shortly followed by Joe.

We ran hand in hand again, until we had to slow down to a walking pace again, because we were so breathless from so much running.
