Pure Love Yami (Atem) X You Chapter 6

'Just...what happend a day ago?' he thought.

He still couldn't figure it out...

He heard about a new girl named (your/name), had a vision of a mysterious beautiful young egyptian woman, met the new girl who strangely looked just like her, when he met her felt like he was frozen and could do nothing but stare deeply into her eyes, Atem then all of a sudden took control, and she passed out...

It was like a wild roller coaster ride...

Atem told Yugi that he did not know why he took control so suddenly.

He just felt...that he had to.

That he must.

Atem was just as confused as Yugi as to why the girl blacked out...

Yugi saw his friends waiting for him at the front of the school where all the other students were.

"Hey guys." he smiled.

"Mornin' Yug!" Joey greeted.

"Hi Yugi!" Tea' smiled.

Tristan's head was looking around untill he finally noticed Yugi. "Oh...hey man! What's up?" He then continued to scan the crowd of students searching for someone.

Yugi had a feeling he knew who he was looking for.

"She's not here again today, is she?" he asked.

Tristan looked over at Yugi and blinked. "Huh? Oh...yeah. I don't think she is...man, I hope she's okay..."

Yugi looked down.

He hoped she was okay too...

"Don't worry Tristan, I have a friend who is doing her community service at the local hospital. She said (your/name) woke up yesterday and is most likely at home resting today." Tea' assured him, a smile on her face.

Tristan's face perked up and he smiled at Tea'.

"Really? That's great! I can't wait to see her! I hope she comes to school tomorrow..."

Tea' chuckled "Oooh Tristan! Are you lovesick and missing your future wife already?" she once again poked fun at him.

Tristan blushed "I...Tea' cut it out!!!"

Tea' and Joey laughed.

Yugi frowned.

There was that stabbing feeling of jealousy again...

"So, have any of you maybe figured out what happend to her back there? I mean...she just blacked out!" Joey exclaimed.

Tea' and Tristan shook thier heads.

"No...I have no idea...wish I did..." Tristan answered.

"Me too...maybe it was a medical condition she had or something? It was very sunny that day...maybe that was it." Tea' added.

Joey shrugged "Who knows..." he then turned to Yugi. "What do you think it was Yug?" he asked.

Yugi's head snapped up from looking at the ground. "Huh? Oh...I don't know either Joey...I'm just as confused as you all are..."

"Maybe she'll tell us when she comes back to school...whenever that is." Tea' advised.

"Yeah...hey I know! Let's go to her house and get a get well card and some flowers! That'll cheer her up!" Joey grinned pumping his fist in the air.

"That's a very nice and thoughtful idea Joey...but, how? We don't know where she lives!" Tea' stated.

Joey's arm faltered "Oh...right..." he said droopely, hanging his head down.

"I know, I'll go to the police station downtown and get her address!" Tristan smiled.

"Heyyy! Good idea Tristan!" Joey cheered.

"Hmmm...very good idea. How do we know you didn't already do that Tristan?" Tea' snickerd.

"Huh? H-hey!"

"She has a point Tristan..." Joey teased.

"That's not fair! Quit ganging up on me guys!" Tristan was blushing as red as a tomato.

Tea' and Joey laughed again.

Yugi glared at the ground and tightend his fist.

Once again...that very jealous feeling...

WHY?

He wondered how Atem was taking this whole situation...He was currently some where in the Millennium Puzzle. He had not made contact with Yugi since last night...

(Inside The Millennium Puzzle)

Atem could hear the conversation between Yugi and his friends.

He was currently sitting on one of the thousands of steps in the Millennium Puzzle staring down deep in thought...

He...was not very happy.

He was so confused.

After his ceremonial duel with Yugi, his soul had finally moved on to the afterlife, and he was rejoined back with all his friends from ancient egypt.

And then...all of a sudden, he was back in the puzzle?

Also after the ceremonial duel, the seven Millinuim items were destroyed.

So why...did the puzzle suddenly appear again with him being back in it?

Not only that, but there was this strange feeling of intense worry if that girl (your/name) was going to be alright, and there was this strange feeling of anger and frustration with Tristan apparently having a "crush" on her.

Who was she?

This girl continuously haunted his mind and thoughts...

He remembered when she passed out how Tristan rushed over and carried her to the nurse's office and how that sent a great deal of irritation from him.

He wanted to be the one to carry her.

He wanted to be the one to take her into his arms...

Atem could feel that Yugi also felt the same way...

Why?

Why were they feeling this way?

Of course they would naturally be worried if someone they just met passed out, but this feeling was different...

This constant desire to see her after just a day and a half of meeting.
To just be near her...he and Yugi felt like thier heart would crumble if she was not alright and they would never see her again...

There was also that peculiar young eqyptian woman vision who looked just like her that both him and Yugi had.

What was that?

Him and Yugi were up all night trying to figure out what it meant...

Atem froze.

'WAIT!'

Maybe...she was the reincarnation of someone from his past?!

But...that would be impossible.

He had no memory of her.

Priest Seto, Mahado, Isis, Simon, Mana...

She fit in nowhere.

Who was she?

"Who are you...?" Atem breathed softly furrowing his eyebrows "Why do you make me feel this way...?"

He put a hand over his fast beating heart.

Everytime he thought of her, his heart would race...

Maybe...she knew everything that was going on.

When she came back to school, he and Yugi just had to speak with her...

(Back At The School)

"ARGH!! I still can't believe that Kaiba is going to be going to school here again!! This is just great!" Joey moaned in frustration, his head in his hands as he walked through the halls with his friends to class.

"It is pretty odd how out of nowhere he would want to be re-enrolled back into this school..." Tea' added.

"Perhaps, he does not want to miss out on his senior year?" Bakura suggested.

"Pfft! Like that thought has a chance! Kaiba doesn't care about stuff like that...he's up to something, I know it!!" Joey practically growled.

"Now Joey, don't get all riled up." Tea' warned "You don't want to start a fight at school. You'd get in trouble by the teachers and principal!"

Joey crossed his arms. "Arrrgh...Fine. I won't. But I swear, if he starts anything, I'll-!!"

"Joey, just chill out." Tea' sighed.

"Yeah Joey. He's probably too busy to talk to anyone right now with the whole second Battle City Tournamennt...don't worry about it." Yugi smiled.

Yugi was also curious to why Kaiba wanted to come back to the high school. He knew Kaiba had a serious reason for everything he did...'It must be really important...' he thought.

"I'm not worried..." Joey grumbled, his arms still crossed, "I'm just sayin' that if he even tries to talk down to me, he's gonna have a face rearrangement from yours truly!!"

Tea' sighed again and Bakura shook his head.

"I know how you feel Joey, but remember we are at school. You could get suspended!" Bakura stated.

"Hey! I'd gladly get suspended if it meant smacking that annoying smirk off his face! While I'm at it, I'll smack that hair off his head too! I always bet that thing was a wig!!"

Tea' rolled her eyes while her and Bakura chuckled.

"Yes, but remember you are at school. How would you feel if Serenity found out her big brother got suspended? What kind of role model would you be?" Tea' pointed out.

"She'd say I'm a hero for finally teaching that jerk a lesson!!" Joey grinned.

Bakura chuckled again while Tea' smacked her forehead. "Joey, your hopless..."

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot to ask!" Joey turned towards Yugi "So, are you gonna enter the second Battle City Tournament too Yug?"

Yugi glanced up from looking at the ground. "Huh? Oh...I think I might. It sounds fun." he smiled.

"Hey Yugi, you have been spacing out quite a lot today...are you okay?" Tea' asked concerned.

Yugi shook his head. "Huh? Oh, I'm alright! I just haven't been getting enough sleep in the past couple of days..."

"Excited about the tournament too huh?" Joey grinned.

"Uh...yeah. Really excited!" Yugi smiled back.

"Whooo! Alright! Man, this tournament is gonna RULE! I can't wait to face off with the best of the best!" Joey pumped his fists in the air cheering as he, Bakura, Tea' and Yugi walked into thier classroom.

"Mr. Wheeler! Quiet down!!" the teacher snapped from her desk.

Joey rubbed the back of his head grinning sheepishly. "Oh...uh, sorry ma'am..."

"Don't let it happen again. Take your seat. NOW."

Tea', Bakura, and all the other students chuckled and snickerd.

Yugi was once again staring at the ground deep in thought oblivious to what was going on as he went to sit down at his desk.

'I don't know why I couldn't tell them the real reason..." he thought 'It's just...oh, I don't know..." he sighed.

He took out his pencil and notebook and began to copy down the notes on the overhead board.

'Why does this girl make me feel like this?' he continued to ponder in his head 'I wonder...what's she doing now...?'

(Back At Your House)

You were currently in the living room watching television.

Your dad was at work while your mother went to get more groceries.

You were flipping through the channels.

Nothing was on this morning...

You yawned as you made your way to the kitchen.

'Since I just started and I was in the hospital, I shouldn't have any make-up work at school...' you thought as you made some of your favorite breakfast.

You saw the newspaper lying on the counter and took it to look at it with curiousity.

There was nothing else to do...

As you looked through it while eating (favorite/breakfast), you noticed a peculiar ad.

"Ancient Egyptian Exibit..." you read. "All new features. Will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday."

For some reason, that topic caught your eye. You rememberd the dreams you kept having that had you as a queen in ancient Eqypt...

A light pink blush crossed your face as you remembered the pharaoh who was your husband in the dream and looked like Yugi.

Whoever that "Atem" was, he was a very attractive man...

Kind, handsome, intelligent, loyal, protective, confident, majestic, loving...SEXY...

It was like the guy was...perfect!!

Strangely enough, right under the eqyptian ad, was an ad about a new book titled "What Your Dreams Mean, Egyptian Visions."

Apparetly, the book was very accurate according to the reviewers when you read the reviews, and was a best seller.

You looked at the price...

...yikes!!

'That much for a book?!' you thought baffled.

As you continued to read, you learned that the book had already sold three thousand copies.

With that many books sold, and at that price...the author must be RICH now!!

You looked at the authors' name...

'Ishizu Ishtar'

'I never heard of anyone with that name before...' you thought.

You wondered for a minute.

"Maybe...this book can tell me what my dreams mean..." you whispered.

It was worth giving it a shot...

You thought about the local library down the street you had found out about when you moved here.

'Maybe they have the book there...there's no way I can pay that much for a book...I can't even afford a duel disk...'

You know, the big ceremonial duel between Yami and Yugi, and then Yami crosses to the afterlife and becomes Atem once again, free to join his friends in the next world? Yeah. I know it stinks that the series ended... -pouts- but, THE STORY CONTINUES HERE IN "PURE LOVE"!!! ^___^ That's RIGHT!! That is why this fic was made! To CONTINUE the series and, this time, YOU are the main character along with Yami (Atem) and he is YOUR SEXY MAN! Yay! Go you!! Hee hee...XD

Tristan: -lunges for Kalberry to get the scissors and cut her hair off too-

Kalberry: -dodges, making Tristan smash his face into the wall-

(remember, this fic takes place and continues from at the end of the Yu-Gi-Oh series, when everybody in the story is like, 18, or something.)
