I felt someone shaking me, and I heard someone saying my name and telling me to wake up. I didn't want to though, sleeping was nice and maybe when I woke up I'd find that falling through a strange hole wasn't jsut a dream like I wanted it to be.
"Why isn't she waking up?" I heard Kenji ask worriedly. "Makoto, do something!"
"Kenji calm down, she's injured no more than any of us. Akari's just being stubborn." He said with a paitent sigh.
"But what if she hit her head on a rock?! Or a tree branch?! Kurama'll kill us if something happens to his little girl!" Kenji panicked.
I groaned, "Shut uuuuupppp!"
"Akari! You're alive!" Kenji exclaimed picking me up by my shoulders and shaking them. "Hey! Hey stay awake!" He said.
I swatted his away, "I'm fine Kenji." I said with a sigh. "WHere are we?" I asked rubbing the sleep form my eyes.
"We don't know. Takeshi and Kira should be back soon, they went to explore the area, look for any signs of life." Makoto replied.
"So, it wasn't a dream?" I asked slowly.
Kenji and Makoto shook their heads. I brought my knees up agianst my chest and wrapped my arms around them."I wanna go home..." I whimpered. I could feel the tears gathering in my eyes.
"Kenji, what did you do to Akari?" I heard Kira ask as she entered the area that we were in.
"I didn' do nothin Kira!" Kenji exclimed.
Kira rolled her eyes at our friend and knelt next to me, "Akari, we'll be fine. Look, Takeshi just told me he thinks he found a place with people we can talk to. He on his way back here now so he can take us. Maybe they can help us find a way home." She said.
I sniffed adn looked at my friend misirably, "Really? For sure?" I asked. Kira nodded but didn't say anything.
Takeshi arrived looking proud of him self, "I found the temple." He said.
"What!? you mean we were droped near the temple!" Kenji exclaimed.
Takeshi nodded but I frowned, "No way, the trees don't feel right..." I said.
"Well I found the temple, it can't get any more right then that." My demon friend said to me.
"You brats are to noisy for your own god." An old voice said startling us all. An old woman had snuck up on us while we were talking with Takeshi. "My only question is what are you doing in my forest, and why haven't you been eaten or killed?" She said.
"Ah, we're sorry man." I said bowing. "We didn't mean to intrude, but we were jsut droped here, we don't een know where here is." I explained.
"And who are you?" The woman asked me.
"Minamino, Akari Mam." I said.
"Hmmmm."
