Great, I hate having to unpacking. I suppose I should have brought Grandma to help after all, I thought as I look at what all I have.
“Well, this should probably go by faster if I have music going.” I say and look through my stuff and find my ipod and ihome, and set them up. After that I set my ipod to play All Around Me by Flyleaf.
The room itself wasn’t too small nor was it too big. It was as a starndard room would be in a house. There was a twin bed, chest of drawers, and a vanity. The bed was a mahogany colored wood, as was the chest of drawers and vanity.
“I suppose after I get what little I do have put away, I should call Grandma and see where I can get some stuff for my room.” I said after getting a good look around. Then shivering as I felt a chill.
“Aw, come on. What’s wrong with the room? It looks great.” A sarcastic voice with an English accent said.
“Who or what was that?” I said trying my best not to be timid.
“That, love, would be me.” The voice said and then a man about twenty-three appeared with jet black hair that you could just tangle your hands in all day and the most gorgeous light blue eyes and almost looked silver. And, his body, good God, he looked like a Greek god while he wore a black t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans and black and white converse. Oh, and the catch here was he was see through! From what I’ve learned, most ‘normal’ humans are not see through!
Biting the inside of my cheek and swallowing the small lump forming in my throat, I said, “And…uh…you would be..?”
“Oh, right. Sorry, love, the name’s Jayce Coleman, and you?” Jayce said while he moved to lay on my bed with his arms behind his head, smirking.
“Um…Jenna Stone. Are you…a..ghost..?” I said, feeling stupid for asking such a stupid question. Of course he is, you don’t exactly see many translucent people walking around.
“Yes, I am. I-“
Before he could finish, my cell phone started ringing, it was Grandma and turned around to answer.
“Hello, Grandma. I was, uh, just about to call you.”
“Oh, well have you finished unloading everything up already?” Grandma said, I could hear the smile in her voice. I always loved how she could make you feel better without actually being near.
“Yeah, I have. I need to get a few things for my room. There’s not much here to work with.” I said.
“Alright, deary. I’ll be over shortly” After saying that she hung up.
With phone in hand, I turned back around to look for Jayce, but when I did, he wasn’t there.
“Great, just great. We shall meet again my ghostly friend.” I said putting my messenger bag over my should and heading out the door.
“Yes, we shall” Jayce whispered with a smirk on his face.
I waited for Grandma to pull up while listening to my ipod, and then when she did, I tried to forget about a very handsome and sexy hallucination name Jayce Coleman.
