A Kitten's Tale Chapter 3

I walked over to the dish and hurriedly drank what ever was it it. Once it was all gone The bowl was quickly removed, and I felt sick. The world spun and then I blacked out.

When I came to again there was something very bad smelling under my nose. I coughed and batted it away with my hands. I opened my eyes with a groan. "WHat in the name of Inari-sama was that?" I couched. sitting up.

"It worked!" Botan cheered.

I blinked slowly and then came to realised that I spoke, and I was sitting up. "I-I'm normal again?" I asked.

"Not exactly, but close enough." Shizuru said holding a mirror up for me. I reached out to take it only to find my hands were very paw like, they weren't exactly paws though. I sighed and took the mirror. I hade to fumble a bit before I finally got a good drip on it and I sighed agian. I had the gold cat eyes still, and my ears were also cat's ears.

"Maybe for you..." I muttered just before three of the four spirit detectives burst in. They stared and I stared back for a moment before reaising something, I had no clothes. I turned about as red as Kurama hair and threw a pillow at each of them. "Perverts!" I yelled. Botan jumped up and quickly ushered them out before shutting and locking the door.

"Let's see if i have something for you to wear..." Shizuru said trying to hide a bit of amusement.

"I wish I had my own clothes..." I muttered when Shizuru handed me some things and I started to change.

"That could be arranged. You family's getting ready to move, we can grab your clothes, sneaky like, and you can have them." Botan said.

My eyes lit up, "Really? We can get my stuff?! That would be great!" I said happily.

Once I had everything on, the outer clothes consiting of jeans and a t-shirt, Botan and I walked out of the room chatting about just how she'd be able to get my stuff.

It was night time, I had gotten Botan to agree to take me along to get my things. During the day we had figured out where I was going to stay, since I couldn't be around normal people looking like I did. We landed quietly in my bedroom and I looked around with a blink, most of my things were already in boxes.

"They're moving my stuff?" I whispered to Botan.

"They must believe you're still alive. We have to hurryMasumi-chan." Botan said. I nodded, still a little confused.

I opened the closet and pulled out one of my bags while Botan opened up a box that had my clothes in it. I handed her the bag and she started put pack some of the clothes into it. I grabbed another one and opened my vanity drwar before placing makeup, hair accessories, and other items that I might need form there into it. ONce it was full I zipped it up and set it on the floor near the window. I grabbed a dress bag and stuffed some of my favorite dresses in it. I turned and saw botan was on her third bag so I helped stuff some of the clothes into it. Finally I picked up a small bag and placed a few picutres and one stuffed animal into it before closing it and pulling out the note that Kieko suggested I should leave and placed it on the vanity.

"Alright, let's go." I whispered. Botan nodded and we gathered my bags and left with out waking anyone up...
