Why did I run away? Why am I here? What am I going to do now?
So many questions were going through my head, but I couldn't answer any of them. I had run away from my village, and for what? I guess you could say I over reacted, but I can't go back now. There's no where to go back to. All I have is my self and everything that comes my way.
It's dark and cold, should I keep moving? I stared at the night sky, gazing at the bright stars dreaming for some sort of a bright future. I wish something or someone better would come my way instead of all the trouble I seem to attract every where I go. With in that same second I heard a loud rustle and some whispers in the bushes close by to me.
"What was that?" I said quietly. I turned to the bushes on the other side of the dark, dirt road, "Hello?"
"Crap," someone said, "Shut the hell up you f*cking moron!"
"Who are you calling a moron you bastard! un" exclaimed another voice.
"Who's there?!" I yelled. Then one of the two voices laughed.
"Well.....," The voice said. I saw two men come out of the bushes. One had long blond hair covering his right eye and a ponytail. The other one had silver toned hair down to his neck and a three-bladed scythe, they were both wearing black cloaks with a read cloud style patterns on them.
I don't know what to do. I'm so scared.
Did the people from my village send these men to bring me back?
"W-What are you doing here?" I asked, "Who are you?"
"We should be asking the questions. un" the blond man said, "Who are you?"
I stood in fear, but managed to get out the words, "Sinyu Takahashi".
"Where's your squad Sinyu?" The silver haired man said.
"I left them, Now who are you?!" I asked impatiently.
"I'm Deidara," The bond haired man said, then pointed over to the other man, "And this bastard is Hidan."
"Oh f*cking you," Hidan growled.
"Um...ok why are the both of you here, or were you just passing through?" I questioned.
"Just passing through. Although I bet our leader would love to meet you. un" Deidara said. Hidan smirked.
"What?! Why!?" I panicked.
What would their leader want with me? Am I useful of some sort?
"Ok listen b*tch, either you come with us, or you die now," Hidan threatened, "So what's it gonna be?"
Die? Why would he kill me? But is my life even worth anything? Maybe this is the future I was looking for, was damned to be a part of.
"I guess I'll come, since I don't seem to have much of another choice. Do I?" I quickly inhaled and then let the air out almost almost immediately.
"Doesn't seem that way," exclaimed Deidara, "Now come on. un"
I stared at him puzzled as he reached into a tan sack that he pulled out from the inside of his dark cloak. He pulled out a lump of a white substance that I was unable to identify. He whispered something, I couldn't hear it but before I saw anything else there was an explosion. As the smoke finally began to disappear, it revealed a bird? Deidara and Hidan jumped on top of it. I followed after them hoping not to fall off, as the contraption took flight.
It seemed as it could have been hours that I was up in the air, no one spoke, you couldn't even hear anyone's breathing over the rushing wind. I think I'd fallen asleep, I can't tell what's reality over fantasy anymore. My eyes fluttered open and I noticed that we had reached the ground. Deidara and Hidan we already off the bird.
"Would you mind getting off? I need to blow this thing up now." Deidara said a bit cocky.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure. Sorry." I responded sliding off of it and then took a few steps back. I watched Deidara form a hand sign.
"Katsu," he said, and the bird was gone. The noise pierced my ears, "Let's go"
"You know I don't know why you use those f*cking things. They make a ton of noise once you're done with them."
I don't understand these people, but I do know that I shouldn't mess with Hidan. That might get me killed. Followed them down through a bunch of passage ways until we came to cave. It was cold and wet, we continued through the darkness until we came to a huge boulder. Deidara moved it with some jutsu I was unfamiliar with. We walked inside of the tunnel. Hidan put the rock back. We came to a hallway filled with torches lighting each side.
Now I must be in a dream.
We all began walking down the eerie hallway, after a few short moments we began to pick up the speed to what seemed to be almost running.
We came to a large room, which seemed to be a deluxe living room. There were other men in the room all wearing the same styled cloak as Deidara and Hidan. I examined them all, they seemed very different and maybe not even all the same species. They noticed our presence almost immediately.
"Hey who's she?" asked a man with black hair that was slightly tied back, as he turned around from one of the tables.
"This is Sinyu Takahashi, a rouge ninja. We believe that leader might find a use for her, un," said Deidara with a grin I wasn't comfortable with. The other man chuckled.
"Well if he can't find any use of her, I can always take her off your hands," he stated darkly.
"Itachi your such a freak," said Hidan. Itachi rolled his eyes.
Deidara grabbed me by the hand and lead me down another hallway to a door. Hidan followed behind. He knocked on the door three times.
"Who is it? What do you want?" Someone answered in a strange tone of voice.
"It's Deidara and Hidan. We've brought you something. un" I could hear the different chuckles from back in the living room.
"Ok, come in," the voice said. Hidan pushed open the door, revealing man with orange hair and a lot of facial piercings.
ARE THERE ANY GIRLS HERE!?!!?!!?!!?!?!? THIS GUY IS GROSS!
"Oh, who is this? Why is she here?" he asked.
"This is Sinyu Takahashi, a rouge ninja. We believe that you might find a use for her, un," said Deidara again with the same grin I didn't like.
"Well I'm not too sure about that kind of use, but she could always stay here and help around the base," he paused, "Hidan don't you have a spare bed in your room?"
"Yes, but...," Hidan began.
"Then she can move into your room. Sinyu, they say your a rouge ninja. How powerful are you? You be of some benefit."
"I'm new to being a jonin, so I have some skills, but can I leave? I'm not much help and I never wanted to come here to in the first place."
"No, we can't risk you revealing anything of us. So you're staying here."
"Who are you guys anyway?"
"The Akatsuki," my eyes widened, "So you have heard of us. Don't worry no one here will hurt you."
"So I guess, I don't have a choice? Great, how do I get myself into this stuff?" I muttered under my breath.
"Sorry for the inconvenience, but we're be precautions." I nodded to that.
"Fine, since I assume I'm going to be here for awhile I might as well know your name."
"You can call me Pein," he said.
"What! Why does the b*tch get to call you by your first name and we have to call you leader?" yelled a very pissed Hidan.
"Because she's a girl and technically not part of the organization. Any more questions?" Pein seemed angry some what now.
"Yes! Why my room?" Hidan practically yelled.
"Because yours is the only one with an extra bed and we're not putting her in a closet. Now go!"
I was more then ready to get out of that office. Hidan through the door open and dragged me with him into what seemed to be his room. It was dark and there were a lot of candles on different tables. I noticed a cross or two as well, and what seemed to be a bible. He caught me looking around and stared at me strangely.
"Hidan," I began.
"What is it?" he still hadn't calmed down.
"Are you religious?" I asked staring at the floor.
"Yeah, why?"
"No reason, you just don't seem like the religious type. At all. Well, maybe it's just me," I looked up, his facial expression had changed dramatically.
I wouldn't of guessed him to be the religious type. Although maybe it's more of a cult or some syco phase then a religious belief.
"Well, whatever! Just don't touch anything. Your bed is over there," he pointed to a very plain bed with not much on it and sheets could definitely be washed. I was slightly disgusted with the manor of the room.
"Fine, jerk, but you might as well clean this room up. It's a pig sty. When did you clean it last?"
"I don't I've never cleaned it. I make Tobi, the stupid one with the orange mask, clean it every few months or so."
"Well then get him to clean it up, this place is gross." I tried holding my breath but it didn't seem to work all that well. I just decided to walk out of the room.
* * *
It's been a few months now. Hidan and I haven't gotten much closer but it's better then we first met, in fact I think I'm beginning to like him. He doesn't swear at me anymore and he's pretty quiet when I'm around. It's kind of odd. I asked Tobi, he even said he wasn't acting like himself. It was getting pretty late, so I decided to head up to my room. I stopped out side the door when I heard two voices on the other side whispering. I wasn't able to tell exactly who they were, but I could make out some of the words.
"Well, what do you mean you don't know? un," asked one voice.
"I don't know. Should I even mention it to her?" said the other voice.
Mention it to her? Are they talking about me?
"What do you want to do? If you feel a certain way should you just let it out or are you going to be a d*ck head and keep it inside? Trust me if I had someone that I felt strongly about, I'd tell her. un"
"Well Deidara that's you."
Deidara? Then who else is in there?
I breathed deeply and then knocked on the door three times. I opened it. I saw Deidara and Hidan on the floor.
"Am I interrupting something?" I asked calmly.
"Well your choice now, un, " Deidara said to Hidan. He stood up and walked out of the room. He shut the door behind him. I was confused. So I looked at Hidan hoping to get some answers.
"What was all that about?"
"Nothing, I mean um... I think I need to talk to you," he stood up.
"About?" I was really confused now, Hidan was never this open.
"Well you probably think of me as a completely and utter idiot, and I understand that. Then again I...what I'm trying to say is...did you know that?"
"Hidan?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you like me?"
"A lot," he seemed relived to finally get that out, "But if you don't like me that's fine."
"No, I do." He was very pleased with my answer. I smiled at him. I walked towards him, he pulled me into his warm grasp.
"Then would you be mine?" It was practically a whisper.
"Yes," I smiled wider.
He loosened his arms allowing me to look up at him. I touched his warm cheek. My face felt warmer in his embrace. He leaned down slowly and pressed his lips against mine, the kiss was sweet. I never expected to get this kind of thing from Hidan, the one I thought completely hated me. I returned the kissed with more passion. I think it surprised him since he pulled away. He pushed himself onto me with more force, pushing me against the wall. This knocked a breath out of me. He licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance, but I wouldn't let him win me that easily, so I denied him. He didn't seem angry about it though. Was that a good sign?
I applied more force onto him. He can't think he's the strong one here. He seemed amused with physical my response and let his strength go, allowing me push him on his bed.
"Wow you're real strong," he let out sarcastically.
"Shut up, it's obvious you let me do that," I smiled.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah"
His muscles loosened, "I love you"
"I love you too,"
