My Life as a Invisible {Good-Bye Siblings}

Next morning began just as any other day, but for once I was actually happy to get to school, I guess its because of my siblings are being shipped off to England at noon. Once I was inside of my homeroom class the teacher walked in front of his desk and told us all to quiet down “We have a new student, you may come in” he motions at the door. And trust me I would have guessed in a million years that James would walk through that door.

[James Pov] I have to say Raye’s face was priceless, but I’m kind of happy now that I get to see her a lot more. Once the teacher told the kids to be quiet I finally look around the room and notice that most of the girls are looking at me like a piece of meat ‘Ugh this is going to suck but all worth it for Raye’ I smirk “My name is James and I like to read and play sports” I hear guys whisper about me and girls swoon over me. I walk over to Raye and lean on her desk “Hey Raye”

[Normal Pov] James leans over my desk and smirks at me ‘That cocky bastard’ my left eye begins to twitch “Hey Raye” I do a fake smile “James, what the hell are you doing here?” his smirk gets bigger “I transferred” my face goes blank “No duh Sherlock” he laughs “Would you ever be nice to show me around the school?” I smirk “Why don’t you ask one of your fan-girls to show you around?” I jerk my thumb back behind me to show him the group of girls behind me. I see his face visibly whiten, which is very freaking funny, it took all of my will power not to burst out laughing. “Yeah James I’ll show you around” he smiles at this “I guess I’m better than being with the plastics’ The bell rings signaling time to get your sorry asses to class “Hey James, let me see your schedule” he nods handing me the piece of paper ‘Hm he has 2nd, 4th, Lunch, and 6th period with me’ I scan the paper one more time, and hand it back to him “I’ll see you after 1st period” he stares blankly at me “Wait your leaving me here” I turn, looking over my shoulder “Yep” he runs up next to me “At least tell what number my 1st period is” I laugh “Ok its room 302” he nods and walks off in the direction I pointed at. Now off to chemistry.

I walk in and start messing with the beakers and stuff. I feel a hand on my shoulder and see Dane, punk my sister wants or something like that, “Hey” I look at him “Hi” I start mixing chemicals, teachers orders, and ignoring him, well it would be easier if the bastard would quit poking me “What?!” he smirks “Ya’ know your kind of cute when you’re angry” I look at him like he’s some kind of freak show. “Uh-hu ok now stop poking me and help me with this” he nods and actually starts helping, I hate to say this but doing really well, I mean from what I’ve heard about Dane he is a sports jock so that’s probably why I think he’s one of those all muscle no brain kind of people. “Hey uh, I never got your name” I look at him “I’m Raye, Dane” I guess he was kind of shocked I knew his name yet he didn’t know mine. “Okay Raye, how did you know my name?” I lay my head on my hand “Guess” He nods “From sports?” I shake my head “Nope” “From Alex?” I literally want to laugh in his face and say ‘Are you serious!’ but I hold it in and shake my head. “Well I don’t know” I chuckle at this “Bethany Summers” is all I say and his eyes widen to about the size of dinner plates “She told you? crazy witch wants to date me but I keep denying her” I laugh “Yeah Bethany told me to stay way from you” he looks quizzical at me “She talked to you?” I nod “She’s my sister” he pretty much turns as white as my brothers bleached teeth, I guess he thought I was offended that he would say something about my sister. Quite the opposite. I agree with him except change the W in witch with a B and were set. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to” I stop him right there “Don’t worry I don’t like my sister either” he looks me up and down and as he does the bell rings .‘What is up with people doing that recently?!’ “Hm okay Raye I’ll talk to you later” I nod “See ya, Dane” I walk right passed him. I head to James 1st period class to walk him to 2nd, but when I get there I see my sister and her little girl friends are all crowded around him. I sigh ‘I really don’t want to does this but Oh well’ I cup my hand around my mouth and take a deep breath “Hey James!” he looks at me with a smile, not only did I get James attention, I got my sister, her band of misfits, Alexander Jacobs, his crew, and Lance. ‘Dear God do they all have the same 1st period or do they travel in groups?’ I guess since I was trying to figure out if they really do travel together or what, James, Lance, and my sister are around me. I snap out when I notice all three around me “Uh hello” Bethany is the first to snap “Rayelise, you don’t have to be so loud!” I back away real quick because me ears were starting to hurt “Whatever Bethany, I hope you have a great time in Boarding School” Her eyes widen ‘Ultimate come back!’ “You’re going too so I don’t know why your all happy about” I roll my eyes “Nope, I’m not going only you and Michael” Her eyes get even bigger “What?! Why?!” I laugh “Because I talked to Mom and Dad, I get to stay, while you and Michael have no choice” she stomps away with no come back. “Hey Raye, you going to show me to 2nd period or you going to fight your sister?” I look at James “Yeah, oh hey Lance” Lance smiles at me “Hey Raye, who’s this?” he looks straight at James “Lance meet James, James meet Lance” they shake each other’s hands “Nice to meet you” they both say at the same time ‘Creepy’ “Ok well I have to show James were his 2nd period is, so see ya later, Lance” as me and James turn to leave, Lance grabs my shoulder “What do you have?” I look at him “Algebra 2 why?” he smirks “Well looks like I’m coming with you” I nod “Ok whatever floats your boat” I walk in front of them only to be stopped by Michael “Hey Rayelise, I heard you don’t have to go to England with me and Bethany” I nod “Yeah and?” he smirks ‘Stupid Bastard’ “Well I’m quite happy that way we don’t have to look over you” I give him a blank stare “Oh good for you now I have to go” I walk right passed him. I don’t care I told you people this.

Once we finally made it to Algebra 2. We had to be stopped like 4 more times after Michael, 1st by my sister again, then another group of girls, then Alexander Jacobs, and last was by the girls that want me to help take down Alex. I swear the next person that stops me is going to get a face full of my fist. We finally made it to Algebra 2. I sit and was starting to doze off when I heard my name be called “Rayelise, since you seem to be falling asleep in my class, why don’t you come up to the board and solve this problem for us” I hear some of the kids in class laughing at me. I slowly stand and make my way to the board. I scan the problem and start showing my work on the board once I’m done I return to my seat, putting my head down again. The teacher looks over the problem shocked “That’s correct” he goes back on his lecture of foiling or something wasn’t really paying attention. The bell rings loudly, I start packing my stuff and practically jump out of my chair. I have study hall now so I’m free for 40 minutes. I feel hands wrap around my shoulder and turn me around to be face to face with Lance. “Hey Lance” he smirks “Well Raye you have study hall right?” I nod slowly trying to figure out what he was getting at “Yeah why?” his smirk gets bigger “Well I’m going to walk you there” I tilt my head to the side “Ok, wait” I see James standing there looking lost “Hey James” he snaps out of his daze “What?” I smile, he’s so weird but I guess that’s what I like about him. “You have Biology next so head down this hallway, then take a left, 3rd door on your right ok?” He smiles then nods “Thanks, See ya Raye” he waves behind his shoulder. I walk past Lance “Hey Raye!” I chuckle and keep walking to study hall.

Me and Lance sit as the back of the class, when I was going to ask Lance something I feel someone bump into me “Hey dork, next time move” I look up to see Alex “Next time quit being a ass and not bump into me” I stare blankly at his face. He glares down at me “What did you say?” he’s all in my face, do you know how hard it is to not punch him?, I roll my eyes “I said quit being an ass and not bump into me” I smirk ‘If the bastard punches me, I swear I’m going to sue his ass’ He leans closer and maybe his friends were cheering for him and accidentally hit him or what, because I would never in my life want to kiss Alexander Jacobs. Yet here I am kissing this bastard, I slap him in the face and start coughing my lungs out “Oh God it burns!” I look at Lance and he’s laughing at me “Lance, call 911 or kill me!” he only laughs harder. I see Lance’s water in his book bag, I snatch it and chug the whole thing down “Much better” Lance stops laughing “Hey that was for gym” I do a pout “Sucks to be you and you deserve it, since you didn’t help”

[Alex’s Pov] I don’t know why but I have never meet a girl like this one, she has spunk and she’s not afraid to talk back. I start glaring at her and she only looks back, I think Leon was giving me a pat on the back but I wasn’t expecting that and leaned forward enough to have my lips against the girls. Her eyes widen and she slaps me across the face. I only stare shocked at her and have my hand covering the spot where she hit me. She has to be the first girl that doesn’t want to kiss me. For some reason I like how she doesn’t want me its kind of hot.

[Normal Pov] I swear I’m going to have my tongue removed. I glare back at Alex, standing up so I could at least look him in the eyes. “You ever do that again, I will personally make sure you never have kids, Got it?” he nods slowly, I smile lightly “Good, See ya Lance” he looks at me weird “Where are you going?” I turn and look at him “I have to go and say good-bye to my siblings” he nods and waves “K see ya Raye” I walk past Alex and his goons, which I would like to say has wide eyed expressions on, I make way out of school with my book bag to see a black Hummer Limo “Wow never saw this one” I slowly open the door to see Mom and Dad sitting in the back smiling at me “Hello Rayelise, could you go get your brother and sister foe us?” I nod “Sure, be right back” I head back into the school trying to remember which class they have. I make my way to Chemistry, I look inside the window on the door to see Michael. I open it and wait for the teacher to notice me “Yes Ms. Summers?” I smile slightly “I need Michael” Michael smirks and stands, walks past me. I look at the teacher “Thanks Mr. Leons” he nods for me to go. I run up to Michael “Where is Bethany?” he looks around “I think in gym” I nod “Thanks” I head towards the gym to see Bethany sitting on the bleachers while the others are playing basketball. I walk up to where she is sitting at ‘Could she have picked something at the bottom, Noo! She has to sit at the top’ I finally made it to the top “Bethany Mom and Dad are here” she looks up only to glare at me ‘What did I do to her to make her hate me?’ “Ok now leave me alone” I shrug and head down the bleachers, as a basketball came right at me, I caught it just in time. I look out on the court “Dude, you need to work on your aim” I throw it at the hoop and it makes a swoosh sound, so I’m guessing it went in. I didn’t bother looking back, I just wanted to get to the car, see my siblings off, and go home. That’s it. I made my way back to the limo to see Dad and Michael talking about something and Mom sitting there quietly listening to the conversation. As soon as I sit down, Bethany walks in and sits right next to Mom. See I’m invisible when my siblings are around, but when I’m alone I seem to be a little bit more noticeable. I sit there listening to their conversation “Bethany, Michael we will miss you both, This is for your own good” Bethany glares at me “Then how come she doesn’t have to go?!” Bethany put a lot of emphasis on She or me, is this why she is pissed? “Bethany, please refer to your sister by her name” Dad gets all serious ‘Whoa that’s a first, well for me anyways’ Bethany scowls “Why doesn’t Rayelise have to go?” Dad looks straight at her with the most serious face I have ever seen “We have our reasons” he looks at me and winks, I smile I don’t know what happened after I had that talk with my parents but they started to change for the best of course. The trip to the air port was very long and very unique. Most of the trip Bethany was complaining about this and that but Michael just kept staring at me, it was kinda creepy.

[The Airport] We walked to the gate where Bethany and Michael would be boarding. I walk up to both of them “Good bye Michael, Bethany” Bethany acts like the usual, a bitch, but Michael smiles ‘I think hell just froze over’ not only that he came and hugged me, leaned over and whispered in my ear “I’m sorry for the way I’ve treated you before” Is today opposite day or something? I smile and hug him back ‘See ya later, Michael” I stand by Mom and Dad as they do their good bye’s. “Passengers for flight 14, please board now” Michael and Bethany head towards the plane. Me, mom and dad all head back to the limo. I look at them “Uh Mom, Dad are you two okay?” They look at me like I was insane “Why would you say that?” Mom looks like I just told her I hated her “Well before I was invisible, but now I’m suddenly noticed ever since our talk” Dad sighs “Honey, were very sorry if we ever made you feel that way” I sigh “Its okay, I’m used to it” Mom looks at me quizzically “What do you mean?” I look at the floor “Well I’ve been invisible since I was 8, and not only from you, but everyone, at school, stores, and places like that. The first person to actually notice me for me was James” they both look at the ground “We didn’t know” I nod “I know, its just aggravating being invisible for so long then all of a sudden you appear.” They smile at me “Rayelise, you know we love you, right?” I nod “Yeah I know” They smile and motion for me to sit between them. I do as was motioned. “Hey um some girls from school want me to spend the night at their house tomorrow night is it ok with you?” Mom looks at Dad “Well David should we let her go?” My dad looks at me, I am now doing ‘The Pout’ as James puts it, “I think we can, Amelia” I smile “Oh thank you!” I hug them. The rest of the trip was fine once home I ran into my room to pack for the planning of bringing Alexander Jacobs down.
