"Lillix, wake up!" Marcus screamed, stirring me from my peaceful dreams.
"Holy! Nice face." Marcus teased. I groaned, sitting up in my bed.
"Is it that bad?" I asked, putting a hand to my lips. Marcus laughed loudly.
"Nah, Gran told me what happened. You barely look hurt at all." Marcus muttered, and I smiled.
"Why the hell are you getting me up at 10:30 in the morning for?" I asked, ruffling his curls. Marcus ducked and laughed again.
"Tammy's home! She brought presents!" he hollered. I followed eagerly, tying my hair up in a high ponytail, and using the other elastic to die up my long white shirt I usually wore to bed. I was wearing black spandex, and I put on my black lowtop chucks eager to see Tammy. Tammy was Marcus's older sister, and she was my age. We're practically best friends. I ran out the door after Marcus, stumbling down the front stairs, stabling myself, then laughing as Marcus hauled my ass across the road. I didn't notice the black mustang with flames, not right away. I was too focused on Tammy. Her blonde hair was spiked in a pixie cut, and her large blue eyes were sparkling.
"Damn, Lilly! Look at ya!" Tammy teased, and I jumped on her, screaming bloody murder, I was so happy.
"Oww. My ears." Marcus complained, and I chased him around the street, realizing that I hadn't given him is kiss on the cheek yet.
"Come here you little bastard!" I cried, as he headed in the direction of the car. THE CAR?! As in Billy Darley's car?
"Marcus! Get over here, now. Please." I pleaded, and Tammy gave me an odd look, signalling for her brother to come back. I suddenly felt self-concious as I saw Billy, Bodie and Heco checking me out.
"Lillix, I said, do you want your present?" Tammy asked in a sing song voice. I turned away from Billy and his gang and smiled, trying to force back the nausea.
"Well, I got Marcus some tampons, so I got you this car." she teased, and I burst out laughing. Marcus looked grumpy.
"I actually got a weight set." he grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. I giggled and pushed him. He was such a baby sometimes. Wait, she got me what?! I began screaming and jumping around.
"No way Tammy! No fucking way!" I screamed, eyeing the beautiful blue volvo. It had to be at least two years old.
I laughed as she hugged me and I swung her around in circles, getting honked at my a passing car as I continued my celebration in the middle of the street. Billy was alone now, and I ran over to him, and kissed him passionately.
"I got a fucking car." I told him, then skipped back the way I had come. Had I really just done that? Oh well! I was too happy to dote on stupid stuff I had done.
"Tammy, I love you! You're so awesome!" I screamed, hugging her again. I punched Marcus in the arm when he wouldn't admit that my gift was cooler.
"Nice car." a deep voice said, and then I heard the flick of the lighter.
"Marcus, come on." Tammy said, shooting me a warning look and pushing Marcus back to my house.
"It's gorgeous, isn't it?" I squealed, running a hand over the blue paint. It was so perfect.
"Nice clothes." Billy commented, looking me over. I realized what I was wearing and shuffled nervously.
"Um, sorry about a minute ago. I shouldn't have done that." I muttered, looking back up at him. Surprisingly, he looked a tad amused, and his lips twitched in that humorous way.
"S'alright. I'll let it slide." he said. Was he actually teasing me now? He rested against my car, and grabbed my hand. I never realized how big is hands were before. They completely envelopped mine.
"You need to listen to what I say, you hear? I don't wanna have to hit you again." he muttered, running a thumb over my scabbed lip. I actually blushed and leaned into him. I attempted to hold his waist, but then reminded myself about my thoughts last night and backed away.
"Well, I better...go. I'll....." I didn't want to see, see you later, because I didn't want to.
"Yeah, you should go. Because I didn't tell you to go." Billy said menacingly, and I stopped in my tracks.
"You don't own me, Billy." I muttered, turning to him. "So don't think for a second you do, okay? Because there's no way in hell you're going to."
Billy walked towards me, and grabbed my arm firmly. I cried out in pain, and surprisingly, he let off a little, blue eyes still angry though.
"It's a matter of time." he stated, then kissed me. I tried resisting, but kissing Billy Darley was not something you wanted to get away from. This time, his kiss held something promising, notjust uncaringemotion. It held a hint of passion. I liked this part of Billy. He hitched meup around his waist, and letme stroke his neck and head, revelingin his masculinity.I traced the part of the tattoo I could see, and Billy actually moaned a little. I liked this, most definitely.
Billy's P.O.V.
She was just destroying everything. I'll admit, I was just looking to fuck with the bitch's mind, but I had fallen hard. 'You're not in love, Billy.' I silently scolded myself, as she kissed the base of my throat repeatedly. Fuck, I wish we were near my apartement. I knew by the time I got her back, she'd change her mind. Lillix was the kind of girl to do that. She moaned my name lightly, and I felt myself stiffen a little.
"Lillix?" the voice cried, and I dropped her. She stumbled, and righted herself by holding onto my arm. The blonde bitch that Lillix knew was shocked, and standing with her hands on her hips, a disaproving look on her face. I lit a cigarette and jutted my chin slightly, annoyed. How dare she come and interrupt that? How fucking DARE SHE? My mind was spinning, and I clenched my fists.
"Tammy, it's fine. I'm coming. I-bye, Billy." she muttered, then bolted across the street. Her friend slapped her head when she got to the top of the steps, and I almost pulled my colt out and shot the blonde bimbo. Don't fucking touch Lillix. Ever. I noticed Lillix watching me, then she blushed, meeting my eyes. I didn't smile, I had forgotten how to so long ago. Instead, I turned and made my way back to my car, the smoke curling around my lips.
Lillix's P.O.V.
Tammy had yelled at me so loud when Billy had finally pulled away. I heard a lot about what type of guy Billy was. I knew what he was, who he was. I didn't need anymore reminders. But they're was something pulling us together, kinda like fate. It sounded stupid, I'll admit, but it was true. I zipped up my dark blue skinny jeans, and put the white blouse I had gotten from Marcus on my birthday last year. It was cute, but not too girly, which I liked about it. It went perfect with chucks, the only shoes I really liked to wear.
"Lils, the guy is no good. I hope you're not meeting up with him." Tammy scolded, as I straightened the unruly curls.
"Tam, I'm not. I'm going to perform tonight with the band." I sighed, applying lip gloss, the only make up I wore.
"Where?" Tammy asked quietly, not meeting my eyes.
"Some place called The Four Roses. "Why?" I murmured. Tammy shook her head.
"No reason. I'm just worried that's all." she muttered, and left the room. I sighed, putting on my coat and slinging the guitar over my back.
"You taking the car?" she alled over her shoulder, as I followed her down the stairs.
"Nah, Robby's picking me up in his mom's van." I said, then snickered.
"Well, I expect to see you get dropped off in a van. You hear me?" she thundered, causing Marcus to start yelling at her to shut up. HONK!
"Robby." I muttered, exiting the house and jumping into the back of the van. Charlie, Greg, and Simon greeted me with cheerful hellos. This was another place I liked to be. With my band. They understood me, and I understood them. It was pure harmony here. The drive to the bar was short, and when we got inside, I sighed. Another shithole dump.
"Fuck you." I heard Simon say, when Charlie muttered something about all the drunk guys he could take home with. Charlie liked to say that Simon was gay, even though he had a kid already. He ruffled my hair as he passed me, and I kicked him in the ass as we rounded the corner.
"Touch my hair again and die." I spat, then started laughing. It was then that I realized that the full bar was quite.
"Anyways...." Greg trailed off, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I punched him in the gut, feeling eyes on me. This was creepy.
"You must be the band Mikey hired." the man behind the bar said, his spanish accent heavy. I nodded, and pulled my guitar off my shoulder to show him. He nodded, and pointed towards the stage. I handed him my coat and booked it up to the tiny stage, setting up my baby. It was a glittering blue fender stratacaster, something I had worked so hard for.
"Holy shit, Lils! Anxious much?" Simon teased, taking his place behind the drums. I gave him the finger and heard some snickers. Great, already I was getting laughed at. It took a little bit to get set up, because it was so damn dark. I stumbled twice and Charlie had to catch me each time. Everytime this happened, I would hear the smashing of a glass beer bottle. Someone was clumsy.
Charlie finally took his damn place at the mic, I took mine, Robby took the other and Greg did the sound stuff. Nobody bothered asking him, unless you wanted a twenty year speech about the kinematics of a simple stereo system.
"We have any Offspring fans here?" Charlie asked, and a huge roar was set off in the bar. I smiled and kicked Charlie.
"Who thinks this dickhead need to get on with it?" I asked, and another defeaning roar sounded. I grinned like mad and got ready to play. We ended up playing 'Staring at the Sun." and it was my favourite. I didn't get to sing much, but when I did, I belted it louder than Charlie, just to piss him off. I did a couple jumps off Simon's drums, something we had practiced a lot, and I did a lot of dancing. What can I say, I'm a party girl! We finished our other two songs, and I was nearly deafened by the praise and whistles we got.
"Charlie boy, did ya hear that shit?" I asked excitedly, my eyes surely wild. Charlie laughed and slapped me lightly across the face.
"Thanks I needed that." I said, giggling. We passed the table in the corner, the darkest one, and someone grabbed my ass.
"Hey, fuc-" I trailed off to see Billy staring emotionlessly back at me, but his blue eyes were warm. Happy to see me, maybe?
"Billy!" I cried, hugging the crap out of him. His lips found mine, and I crushed myself to him.
"Who's this?" one of the guys asked, and Billy pulled out a gun, aiming it at-
