Authors Note:
This story is true, at least as how it was told and shown to me. Still the same to protect the identity and origins of such a tale, things had to be altered. Nevertheless, I will attach two photos proving at least one part to the story.
Prologue
“Not again,” she thought as she felt herself being tugged out of her body, once again called or rather forced to witness an event of some sort. It started like it normally did every time it happened, but this time something was different, something was not right about it….
As soon as she was fully separated, she suddenly shot off like a iron filling to a magnet towards her destination. The landscape changed from the rough desert to the cold, freezing winter forests, every now and again she would spot a river or an animal of some sort but she was going too fast to make out many details.
Suddenly, she felt like she was being stuffed like a cat into a coke bottle. Her world went dark and on this scape, she knew she wasn’t alone. The other mind there was frightened and felt like an animal. As she became accustomed to her surroundings, she realized she was inside the body of something furry. Something furry, a coyote cub! With that realization, she became the animal in a sense.
She was aware that she was in a small metal cage, it was very cramped but gave a view outside. She wished it didn’t. Outside the cage, a strange dark hooded figure was making preparations to what she could only speculate as being some sort of dark magic, and the kit was to take part of it. The only thing that came to mind was the noose that hung from the branch above her.
Suddenly she was frantic to escape which drew a dark look from the figure, that look made her blood freeze. Now her eyes couldn’t leave the figure as it went on about its’ preparations. It raised a ritual knife above its head and slashed its own wrist, as the hot blood poured out onto the snow, smoke rose from the ground. It continued on to make a large circle around the cage and itself. As soon as the circle was finished, it took a sip from its own blood.
It then used the knife to draw sigils in the air around the cage, whispering in an arcane tongue. Although no meaning could be put to the words by her, they sent electric bolts through her body. The poor animal inside the body was under some tremendous assault from a demonic entity. All she could do was watch and wait. As the last word was spoken the air became even colder, a sulfuric stench wafted to her sharpened senses and the very world outside the circle became dark, twisted, and distorted. Unholy energies were gathered and about to be put to use under the full moon. The figure looked down on her, it was a man but the light in his eyes made it clear he was not human.
He threw the cage open, grabbed the coyote and hung it by its tail. Despite all the poor creatures’ efforts, all it managed was to scratch the man’s face leaving three wide red lines. The man then spoke five more syllables and used his knife to cut the coyote's throat open. As the knife sliced through, so was her connection to this scene.Eventually, she opened her eyes and she was back in her beloved body, but she still wept at the tragedy and horror she witnessed. Her anguished sobs were heard by no one in the large corridors of a long dilapidated forlorn manor.
