Maya arrived to her new school. A sigh escaped her mouth as she walked in to the school courtyard. She looks around to see other students talking and laughing with each other. when her eyes fall upon an interesting looking girl who seems utterly annoyed with the laughing kids.she has long black hair with burgundy iridescents that shine in her hair when the lights hit it.She looks utterly annoyed by the laughing kids as if she hates the mere presence of them.She has pale skin and stands about 5'4" she turns and meets eyes with Maya and here eyes are grayish-silver that look like storm clouds are brewing in them. she is dressed in a black tight fitting shirt with a silver dragon upon it, some black capris that tie up the the knee and a pair of black vans. Maya quickly heads inside the school feeling a severe pressure of some type of energy. She looked around for the main office to find out what class she will be enrolled into. She finds the main office and looks around nervously "Hi there you are new correct?" asked the secretary as she looks into a large file cabinet. "whats your name darling?" she asked you "Its Maya Hina" she replied back. The secretary hands Maya her schedule and gives directions to her next class. Maya smiles "thank you" she said to the secretary and heads towards her class room. She opens the door to see that class has not started and heads to find herself a desk at the back of the class. A few moments later students begin to file in and take their seats.Once the room fills up with a large number of students, class begins.ten minutes into the class the girl that Maya had seen earlier comes strolling into class.Her storm brewing eyes meet Maya's for a quick second and then the girl hands her schedule to the teacher to have it signed.The teacher signs it and hands it back to the girl. "Sit anywhere u like."The teacher says motioningto the seats.The girl looks around the room and her eyes stop at a deskat the far corner of the room she quietly walks over to her seat and takes it. Maya sighed as she looked at the new girl. A loud scream of a group of girls can be heard from outside in the corridor.
Everyone in the class looks toward the screams but the girl with the grayish-silver eyes doesn't.She just stares out the window boredly. The teacher walks out of the classroom to see what the screams were about. Maya was a little curious and heads outside to see a group of girls screaming like some type of fan girls. "please let me pass so I can get to class" said a boys voice as he tries to escape from the group. Maya's eyebrows lift at the sight of the poor boy trying to get through.he has long red hair, large emerald orbs, light skin and was at least a foot taller than her.'wow he is cute.' she thinks to herself.She stands there for a moment and stares at the boy.To her amazement he is walking right toward her.Her face becomes red as she stares at him. She ran back in to the class room. Her heart beats rapidly while staring out of the window. hortly after the boy walks into her classroom and Maya's heart sinks to her stomach.She didn't know whether or not she should be happy he was in her class or embarassed cuz she was staring at him so hard. His eyes lock on the girl and darken a little with the grayish-silver eyes. As if feeling someone staring at her she turns from the window and goes pale. She quickly gets up from her seat and leaves the classroom. Maya saw the new girl leave the class room. She then stared at the red hair boy again. Her face becomes red as she looked down at her desk trying to hide her face from him. The boy with the red hair is standing there looking stunned.He quickly recovers his composure within seconds and a look of determination replaces the look of shock.He turns to leave the classroom. "Where do u think u are going Mr. Minamino?" The teacher calls out before he walks out the door. Shuuichi looked at the teacher and returned into the class sitting in the middle of the class room. All the girls sit around him giggling and sighing "what a bunch of morons" said Maya under her breath as she looks outthe window to see the other girl leave the school. Arashi met up with one of her dodgy uncles that her parents never talked to and he let her in on his business. Arashi Dorago rushes out of her new school and straight to the parking lot to her Mansory SLR Renovatio.Her heart is pounding in her chest and she is breathing raggedly.She puts a shaky hand to her driver door trying to get the key in the keyhole.she looks behind her to see if anyone is following her.
Maya is still in the class room. She decided to leave the class and walks towards the girl. Maya smiled at her "your not normal are you?" she asked the girl with a serious voice. Arashi damn near drops her keys on the floor. "Damn where did u come from?"she asks Maya. "I would say you are not normal.You were in class when I left "I never do this. But no I'm not normal."She answers and opens her car door. Maya looked at her"I could tell that when I first saw you" she said the Arashi "How?"Arashi asks impressed. "You seem a normal enough person to me."She adds. Arashi eyes wonder up and down the girls body.'how can this girl tell I'm not normal'she seems human to me.Although there is somthing otherworldly about her.' she thinks to herself.she looks over the girls head to the classroom and sees the red haired staring at her.Her body goes ridgid. "Look u don't need to answer that.We will talk another time. I really have to go" arashi says. Maya looks at the girl as she starts the car and leaves. She then looks up at the window to see the red hair boy staring at her also. A shiver runs up her spine as she went in to the school feeling something uneasy in the air. The ending period bell rings and the other students bursts out into the corridor. Once on the road Arashi steps on the peddle.'Shit!how did he find me! What am I going to do?It's been years since my run in with him.'She thinks to herself.A shiver runs through her...Arashi is 14 again and running through a thicket of trees.Close on her tail is Yusuke and his cursed detectives screaming for her to freeze but she will not stop.She did it.She killed the people responsible for taking her family away.She was the oldest daughter of a very wealthy man and was the only one who escaped alive from her families brutal murder.
He had always knows who did it and when she went to the detectives and demanded justice they told her to stay out of it and let them handle it. And just dismissed her and told her the man who killed her dad couldn't be touched.Arashi couldn't accept this.She loved her father and it pissed her off that after everything her father had done for Koenma and his detectives they wouldn't let her be apart of it because it was to dangerous! Hn. What bullshit! So she took matters in her own hand and went to the man's house and killed him and the men who were there that night.But just when she had finished off the last guy Yusuke came busting through the door and shot her with his damn spirit gun.She flew back and faked being unconscious and when they came toward her she jumped up and ran.And now 4 year later she hoped that she was forgotten but the look on kurama's face told her otherwise. Returning back to reality. Maya is in the cafeteria looking for someplace to sit but all the tables are filled up. She looked around and walks around hoping to find a seat. A sigh escaped her mouth and heads outside to the outside lunch area. The sky is beautiful today. Pure blue with only little puffy white clouds roaming the sky. She closes her eyes to let the sun shine on her and her mind begins to play out everything that just happened.'I didn't even ask her what her name is. I should of.What the hell happened between her and that boy' Maya thinks to herself and she can feel her curiosity peak. A tray placed down on the table next to her breaks her out of her thoughts. she turns to see who it is and it is the red-haired boy smiling at her.
"Mind if i join u?' He asks. Maya looks at him and falls off the bench with a loud thud "ouch...Yeah sure" she said getting up quickly hoping that he wont think she is weird. She looks at her Bento (lunch box) and starts eating. "So its Shuuichi right?" Maya asks him with curiousity. "Yes."He answers."Is today your first day?" he asks Maya with a smile. "What's your name?"Shuuichi asks. Maya look at him and smiled "Its Maya but you can call me Flora" she says to him "it is my first day here" she also said and looked at her lunch shyly. "Okay if that is what u prefer."Kurama says and smiles warmly at Maya. Her cheeks flush as she eats."So Flora?" Kurama starts. "What was your old school like" he asks, "Are you from here?"He asks also. Maya thinks "well my last school was a private all girls school in London, it was okay but it was way to preppy for me and I got into a lot of trouble just to be kicked out. Well I was born overseas since my dad does a lot of traveling for his job" said Maya as she looked at him. "Really What does your dad do?"Shuuichi inquires. Maya smiled "he's a famous photographer in Europe" she replied back to Shuuichi and smiles at him. She looks down at her lunch box and starts eating. "So what about you." she asks him and smiles. Before Suuichi can answer her a group of his fan-crazed girls swarms the table.
Maya is on the ground rubbing her thigh. Her food is all over the ground, she looks up at the girls who were swarmed around Shuuichi. A small light green light emmits from her hand. A green snake appears slithering on top of one of the girls shoes. The girls screach and run back inside. Maya takes her hand off the ground and the worms return to the soil. "do you deal with those bimbo's every single day?" asked Maya as she brushes herself off. Shuuichi silently chuckles."I do apologize for them.To make it up to u can I buy you some lunch?"He asks. Maya smiled "its fine I got some at home" she says and brushes her self off again making sure there is not dirt on her uniform.She looks at her watch "we have 20 more minutes I told you about me, so its your turn" she said to Shuuichi and sits down on the bench. "Well there isn't much to tell. It has always been my mother and I. I don't really know my father. She has been engaged to a wonderful man for a couple years now and she owns a flower shop a few blocks from the school. I go there after school and help her out." He says. Maya giggles a little "so your basically a mama's boy" she said smiling. "sorry about that" she says to him."Wait you mean that cute little flower shop with the beautiful pink writing?" she asks him Shuuich blushes at Maya's comment about him being a mama's boy. "Yes. That's the one."He answers her. Maya smiles widely " I go there to get different flower bulbs for my garden at home after school" replied Maya. "I love that store" she also says to him. "Since you help her out a lot.That would mean you know a lot about gargening right?"Maya inquires. Shuuichi nods."Yes."He says simply."Why do you ask?" "Oh because sometimes I'm not sure that I'm taking care of my garden right.Do you think you can come by sometime and help me out?Give me some pointers?"She asks. Shuuichi smiles warmly at her."I would love to."He says. Maya smiles warmly at him. The school bell rings "we better get going to class" Maya says as she picks up her lunch box and heads inside to her class. "you coming red?" she asks Shuuichi. A boyish grin spreads across Shuuichi's face and he nods his head yes and gets up to follow Maya back into the school.
Arashi's foot pushes on the pedal and her car excels in speed.She lifts up her cell phone and flips it open.She hits her speed dial and the phone begins to ring.A older man with a deep voice answers on the other end. "What is it?" "Otooji-Sama."Arashi says panicked."What is it?" Her uncle answers worried. One of the detectives go to my school!He is the one with the red hair.Kurama.He seen me!He knows I'm in japan! What should I do?"She asks. "thats going to be a problem" replies her uncle "however this should not intirferr with your work. Will it?" asks her uncle She wants to say a smart remark in return to her uncles cold answer.But she bites her lip to stop herself, remember what happened the last time he mouth off to her.Her back begins to ache where the repeated lashes of the bamboo stick that was used on her for her insolence. "Of course not Otooji-Sama."She says. "Good now are you on your way back to the house?"He asks. "You are in Japan?" She asks. "Yes.Come back to the house. There has been a change in our plans."He says. "Yes Otooji-Sama."She answers and hangs up the phone. She sighs heavily and throws her phone down on the passenger seat.Now that he is here that makes things way more complicated.Hopefully he is just here to tell me what the new plan is and then he will leave.I came here to get away from him.She thinks to herself and sighs heavily. Arashi presses on the gas and starts driving faster down the street. Meanwhile Maya is at school thinking about that girl. Her head starts hurting badly "Its probably due to using my powers" she thinks to herself feeling like crap. She asks the teacher to go to the nurse. "What's wrong Maya?"The teacher asks. 'Im not feeling well may I be excused to the nurses office?" she asks the teacher. Her head feels like someone is pounding an anvil on top of her head. Her face looks flushed white like she is going to be ill. "Yes of course.Will you be able to walk to the office.You look as if you will pass out child."The teacher asks worried.
"I'll be fine."Maya answers softly. She gets up from her seat and a wave of dizziness overcomes her.She can feel the bile forming at the back of her throat. and she swallows hard to prevent it from spewing out of her mouth.Her eyes roll into the back of her head but she fights herself from fainting.The teacher goes pales."Shuuichi.Please Help her to the nurses office. Shuuichi walks up to maya helping her walk outside. "you can let me go Shuuichi" says Maya. Shuuichi lets her go. She puts her hands on the wall of the corridor. She breaths slowly and tears roll down her face "I never asked for this" she says quietly. She makes her way to the nurses office without falling over but Shuuichi stays with her.He looks at his classmate with curious eyes....She never asked for what?...He thinks to himself suspiciously.But he doesn't say anything. He just wanted to make sure she made it to the nurses office without falling over.He will ask her later what she meant by that. Maya and Shuuichi make it to the nurse's office. Her legs feel like they were made from Jello. The nurse sees her and helps Maya to the nearest bed so she can pass out on the bed instead on the floor. "what happend Shuuichi?" asked the nurse as she takes Maya vitals. "I don't really know."He begins. "We were eating lunch together and she was fine and talking but when class started, she asked to be excused to the nurses office because she wasn't feeling good.And when she got up to leave she almost fainted."he answers her just as confused as the nurse looks. "How strange."She says looking down at Maya. "Well thank you Mr. Minamino for bringing her.I'll take it from here."The nurse says and dismisses Shuuichi. The nurse takes Maya's temperature which turns out to be normal. Maya is passes out on the bed asleep. Hours pass and the final bell rings, Maya streatches and wakes u feeling refreshed and all better. The nurse looks at her "feeling better?" she asks Maya. Maya smiles at the nurse and nods contently. The nurse smiles. Someone walks into the nurses office "is maya feeling better? asks Shuuichi as he looks at the awakened Maya.
A blush creeps across her face. "Yes. She is fine."The nurse says "I don't know what was wrong with her.Because she is healthy as a horse.My only guess is it was exhaustion."The nurse turns to Maya."Do u have those spells often my dear?"She inquires. Maya looks at the nurse "once in a while" she replies to the nurse not explaining about her powers. "Once in awhile?"She asks.She places her finger on her chin as if debating something. "Maya.Do you mind if I run your condition by a specialist who is a very close friend of mine?I think you should really see someone about these attacks."She says walking toward her. Maya becomes stunned about what the nurse said. She starts thinking about it " that could be fine but I dont want blood tests" said Maya knowing that her blood is slightly different from normal humans. The nurse smiled "okay I will tell him that" she said to Maya. Shuuichi looks at Maya and hands her. Her school bag. "thanks" she says to him and gets up energetically. Maya bows at the nurse "thank you" she says to her and leaves the office. "Thanks for checking on me."Maya says to Shuuichi as they head for the parking lot. Shuuichi smiles at her "no problem" he replies to her wondering what happened "what happened to you?" he asks her curiously. Maya looks at him "to tell you the truth I was born with a rare medical condition where my body somewhat shuts down. I got it from my mother. I was a weak child growing up because of it. It was more violent back then also. However know it only happens when Im exhausted or......." says Maya and stops where she is. "Or what?"Shuuichi asks. Maya's mind begins to reel trying to come up with some excuse to tell him.She wants to answer him honestly but something in her tells her not to. Once an excuse pops in her head she opens her mouth to respond but instead of her voice a loud honk from a car comes out.Her and Shuuichi look at each other with confusion written all over their faces.The horn goes off again and they both turn around.Arashi is sitting in her car with the passenger window rolled down. "Hey Maya. Want a ride?"She asks.
Maya's eyes widen despite herself. ...Where the hell did she come from... She thinks to herself.A smile widens across her face....I'll have to thank her later for saving my ass... She says."Yea sure I'll take a ride."She says and turns to Shuuichi but he is gone. Maya gets into Arashi's car."thanks" she says to her and smiles "so where do you live?" ask Arashi as she reverses the car and drives down the street. As Arashi and Maya drive down the street, a boy watches them intently with his emerald orbs....There is no doubt about it.It is her.I have to tell Koenma.They both started school here today.Maya is to nice a girl to be hanging around Arashi Doragon.A few moments later, Arashi pulls up to Maya's house. Maya smiles "thanks Arashi " Maya says to her and walks in to the photo studio. Arashi leaves as Maya heads to her apartment where she lives with her dad. She looks around to see her dad not home. "he is not downstairs or in the apartment" says Maya as she puts her bag away. She opens the curtains to see the clouds forming.
Maya heads to the bathroom to take a shower before she starts cooking dinner for her dad. She grabs a towel and a pair of pajamas and heads to her bathroom. Once she is done she dresses and then heads downstairs.She goes into the kitchen and begins to prepare dinner. Maya heads to the fridge and grabs come veggies and the chicken. She turns on the oven to bake and starts cooking.30 minutes pass and Maya is eating alone as usual. She looks at the clock which reads 8:30 pm. A sigh escapes her mouth. She finishes eating and heads to the kitchen and cleans up. She then heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth and heads to sleep. She lays in her bed and sighs heavily....Another night alone... she thinks to herself and shuts her eyes.A few moments later she is sound asleep.Arashi puts the last dish in the cabinet and turns on the coffee.She joins her Uncle at the dinner table and sits down. "What's changed Uncle?"She asks breaking the silence. "The mark is still the same but this time you will be the one who terminates the mark."Her Uncle states. Arashi's eyes widen. Morning slowly comes. An alarm clock blasts through out a room. A hand grabs it and throws the clock to the wall. Maya wakes up, her hair looks like a large birds nest. She looks at the clock to see the time "6:30 already?" she wigned as she yawns. She starts thinking about what happened yesterday 'I am laying Hookie" she says and falls back asleep. Maya slept through the whole day.Her eyes open as the sun is just disappearing behind the horizon.She stretches and lays on her side lost in thought about the dream she was just having. a loud boom in the lliving room pulls her out of her thoughts abruptly."What the hell was that!"She says to herself.She jumps out of bed and rushes to the top of the stairs she looks down and finds a little boy who is wearing a long black jacket, spikey black hair, and beautiful red eyes. " Who are you?" asks Maya as she looks at him. He looks at Maya "damnit" he says and leaves through out the window. "What the hell was that" she says to herself as she saw him leave.
She runs out of the house without thinking to follow the boy.He is running so fast that she can barely see him but for some reason she can.She follows him. Maya looks around "I lost him" she says. She then sees a temple but ignores it and heads back home to change. Maya then leaves the house to explore that temple that she saw. On her way to the temple, a shadow rushes her and knocks her off course.She slams into a tree "What the hell?" she asked herself as she gets up. A silver sword points at her neck. She stares up at intense red eyes glaring down at her. "What are you doing here?"It's the boy she followed earlier. his voice is cold and harsh "What the hell are you doing pointing that thing at me" says Maya as she looks at him. "Answer me onna.What are u doing here?"He asks in the same tone. Maya opens her mouth to answer when a loud crash in the temple is heard.Both Maya and the boy look over at the temple.In the window they see a man and a woman fighting.The man pushes the woman and slaps her across the face. reaches down for her but he hand recoils as if he has been struck by a snake.The man steps back and stairs at his bloodies hand.He screams in horror.The woman leaps up from the ground and buries a katana in his chest. His screams become a gurgling sound and he falls to the slumps to the floor.Maya looks back at the boy and he is gone. An explosion goes off and the boy and the girl who murdered the man in the temple fly out of the explosion fighting.Maya stands there staring at the battle raging on.The woman fighting in a ninja outfit.She throws a smoke bomb just as the boy is about to attack and when the smoke clears she is gone.
Maya coughs chocking from the smoke a little. She then sighs the boy looks at her "what?" Maya asks him with a stern look. "Hn."he grunts and then disappears. Maya gets up and sighs "what is with him" she says and heads up to the temple. She looks around exploring the place. She sees a young girl looking around the rubble. She has beautiful minty green hair and red eyes. Maya walks up to the girl and starts talking to her. Arashi stumbles into her home bleeding profusely in her side. She scans around the room for her uncle but he is nowhere in sight.Her eyes roll into the back of her head and she falls to the floor.But her uncle catches her before she hits the ground.He scoops her up in his arms and lays her on the couch.He rips open her shirt to inspect her injury.He crinkles his nose in disapproval and begins to wrap her wound.Once finished he leans back in his chair and sighs heavily. "She did pretty good for her first time.I thought she would end up dead."He says to himself impressed.A few hours pass and Arashi slowly opens her eyes."So u made it huh?"Her Uncle says to her.Her eyes slowly meet his."Barely.One of those damned detectives were there.U remember Hiei Otooji-Sama?"she asks whoarsely. "Yes I remember him."He got u good but u will be fine now. He gets up from his chair. "You have made me very proud niece.From now on u will be terminating the marks.I'm going on a long awaited vacation.I'll be in touch when one comes up.Stay out of trouble and if you can stay away form the detectives." "Does that mean I can stop going to school now? She asks. "No.U must stay in school. I will be checking in with you from time to time. You've proved urself worthy to me. I know it will be a hard to stay away from them but u must." Arashi opens her mouth to protest but her uncle places his hand up.
"No excuses. U will manage away if u don't I will kill u. I"m off now.I stocked up the fridge and I left a couple of my accounts in your care.Manage them correctly.We will speak soon.I luv u my pureshasu houseki."He says and kisses her forehead.Before Arashi can say another word he is gone. "What is your name and what are you doing here?"maya asks the girl with minty green hair and red eyes. "I live here" said the minty hair girl and smiles "what is your name?" asks Maya as she looks at the girl. "Yukina what is yours."The girl asks. "Im Maya do you need help?" she asks Yukina with a warm smile and starts helping Yukina out. Yukina smiles warmly in return and the two of them begin to clean up. Maya sighs as she picks up broken splinted wood. As she picks up a splinter rammed into her finger "damn it!" she screams out loud and shakes her hand. Yukina walks over to her and takes her hand.Here let me help u.She says and leads her to the bathroom.Shesits Maya down on the toilet and reaches into the medicine cabinet.She pulls out some tweezers and returns to Maya with her hand stretched out.She gently grabs Maya's hand and pulls the splinter out."ouch" Maya says quietly. Maya smiles "thanks" she says and continues to look around the ruble. "Man that sucked" said a boys voice as he gets out of the rubble. Maya looks over at the boy.He has red hair light skin andis dressed in white.She watches him curiously as he gets up and wipes the dust and rubble from his clothes.He is wearing white fighter pants with a long white coat with red japanese characters on the back.He looks up at her and a goofy smile spreads across his face. "Well hello there.Where did u come from?"He asks. Maya looked at him. She could not keep it in anymore. She laughed hard "you look like a samurai street punk" she said to him laughing. "I cant stop laughing" she says as she starts laughing harder. Tears run down her face from all the laughing. The boy glares at her grudgingly as Yukina starts to giggle to. Someone else begins to laugh somewhere in the room and Maya looks in the direction at the other person. Maya turns to see the same short man with black clothing, spikey black hair, and red eyes. "hentai!" screamed Maya as she pointed at him in a pissed off voice. Before she knew what happened, the boy with the black clothing has her pinned up against the wall with his katana to her throat. Maya gulped "hey Im not the one who broke into my house" said Maya as she looked at the sword. "Hiei let her go" said a familiar voice behind Hiei and Maya. Maya looks over at the voice and sees Kurama.She inwardly sighs in relief but the boy does not loosen his grip on her. He just stares at her with his intense red eyes. Maya sighed "now now" she said to Hiei. She looks at her hand, green light emminates from her hand. She points it to the ground. Large thick ivy branches grow from the ground and grabs Hiei. "oopsies" she says Hiei's eyes widen in shock.
Maya emmits a light from her hand again and throws it to the ground. The Ivy plants start to decress. "How did u do that?"Kurama asks. Maya looks at him "Huh? oh that I was able to do that since I was little" she says and passes out from dizzines. Kurama and the others look at each other curiously and then down at the unconscious girl "Well this is interesting." "I think it is time to pay Koenma a visit. " says Kurama as he looks down at Maya. Yusuke says and then lifts up the unconscious girl and carries her out of the house.He turns to the others. "Um lets go."He says. and then the four of them walk out of the house. The boys are at Yusuke's house. Maya is sleeping on the bed comfortably. She smiles and starts giggling as she sleeps. Kurama raises his eyebrows curiously at Maya and looks at the others who are close to burst into laughter.Kurama places his finger to his lip as if to shush them. Maya wakes up feeling like crap "damn" she looks at the others "whats your problem punks" she said to them with an irratated tone of voice. "Is that how u repay those who help you?By insulting them?"Kurama asks. Maya sighs "gomen I get really irratated after I use my abilities" she says and slowly gets up Kurama nods his head in understanding. Maya smiles weakly at him."Maya someone we want u to meet is on their way over here to speak with u about ur abilities."Kurama says. Maya sighed "yeah sure" she says to them and sighs. She gets off the bed and smiles. She then looks at Kurama "so why are you with these guys?" she asks him and points at the other three. "Well."Kurama starts and then looks over at the guys as if silently asking for help on how to explain himself.
Maya sighs and feels grogy a little. She smiles "sorry about that" she says to him. Her stomach growls loudly. She blushes hard and looks down blushing more "Areyou hungry?"Kurama asks. Maya blushed a little "yeah" she says to him and smiled. Both of them head to the kitchen to grab Maya something to eat. "so how did you meet them?" she says. "Well Hiei and I met each other in middle school."He starts."Yusuke and Kuwabara I met them when my mother had gotten really ill.They had a friend who was able to help her condition and at first we really didn't like each other but after awhile we became really close.Yukina, Gankai, and the others I met later.I guess u can say we are one big happy family now.We are always together."Kurama finishes.He chuckles to himself. Maya smiles at him "so what do all of you guys do anyway?" she asks him in a curious voice. "What do u mean what do we do?As in our hobbies? or Careerwise?"Kurama answers with a question. Maya looks at him "career wise like what do you guys do?" she asks him and starts eating whatever he made. "We are all still in highschool so we don't have a career persay.But we do all help out at my mom's flower shop."Kurama answers.
Maya doesn't believe him but she doesn't say anything. Maya sighs as she drinks juice. She finishes eating and smiles "okay, well whenever you are ready to tell me" she says to him. "well when is that person suppose to be here?" asked Maya as she looks at her watch. "In a few moments."Kurama answers simply.
"Is there anything else you would like to know?"He asks her. Maya sighsand heads back to the room. "Yo" said a boys voice. She looks around but cant see anyone talking to her.. "DOWN HERE!" screamed the voice. Maya looks down to see. She sees a small child with big brown eyes and wearing a large hat "and you are?" Maya asks as she looks at him. "Koenma Prince of Reikai.If u will can u join me down here on the couch?"Koenma asks.
Maya sighs "if this is about my powers I really hate talking about it" she says as she sits on the couch annoyed. She looks at Koenma. Her phone rings "hold on" she grabs the phone and reads the caller Id. She puts her cell back in her pocket ignoring it. Koenma opens his mouth to say something when her phone goes off again.She nearly jumps out of her seat at the vibration.She reaches into her pocket and looks at the caller ID and raises her eyebrow but ignores the call and turns her attention to Koenma. "I'm sorry about that. Now what is it that u wanted to talk to me about?"she asks. Koenma looks at her "wait I can call him later" she says as she smiles "so what do you want to know?" she asks them. Koenma sits there for a moment in deep thought as if trying to figure out the best way to tell her what he wants to know. "Your powers.Can your father do the same thing?And who is your mother?Is there any chance that your are adopted?"He starts Maya looks down "he's a normal human, my mother was the one who had the powers. Her powers are genetic and only run in her family" she replies to him. "How do u know this?Did she tell u this?Where is she now?"He asks. Maya looks at him with a sad face "I never meet her, she died giving child birth" she replied as she looks down at the couch. "I have meet my mother's sister and brother and they told me about it when I found out." she replied to him giving him a fake smile. "I see."He says."Do u know anything about your powers?As in what u are capable of doing?Why you have them? Have you ever wondered why u have these powers?"Koenma asks. Maya sighs "I dont know much,and I dont how I got it. All I know is that it is passed down in my mother's family" she says very annoyed. "Well do u want to know about them?"Koenma inquires. Maya sighs "I know is that I can use my powers once a day because I get sick after words" she said "My power is earth. I can manipulate plants and create earthquakes which I have not done because its harder than you think" she says to him.
