A Lifetime with Prince Obnoxious [Part 3]
Just another filler chapter. Alex decided to give a hint about his little affair in New York - to his parents."Morning," I said to Alex, pouring a cup of coffee and giving it to him.
Damn, he looked so gorgeous in the morning.
"There's something that I had been wanting to ask you since last night..." I trailed off.
"What?"
"How's Emily?"
I could tell that Alex was trying to hold back his laughter for a reason. "Uh...let's just say that no babysitter last a whole month - let alone a week - without seeing a psychologist later," he said. My jaws dropped.
"Surely you're joking?" I said. He shook his head. "She keeps insulting them, quite a lot."
Ah, I see.
My work phone rang. I groaned out loud and flipped it open.
"Melanie!"
Oh dear God no.
"It's Melissa," I said, but she totally ignored me.
"Where's my Nicky? I called him like, 40 times, but he totally didn't answer me," she demanded, a bit snobbishly.
Oh, no wonder. He's probably hanging himself just by looking at your caller ID, I thought.
By now Alex looked at me, a bit worried - since I'm sure that I looked like I could puke all over the kitchen.
Wait...something's not right here: Alex, worried, for me? BWAHAHAHA! That's a shocker.
"He's probably sleeping back at his home...er...with his girlfriend, probably."
Thank God the girl was shallow or else she would caught my lie right there and then - like Alex had done. He raised his eyebrow at me in amusement.
"But I am his girlfriend!"
The caller was Jennifer Robinson, an almost psychotic girl who craves for attention and gets it by wearing slutty outfits. One night, Nick thought it might be a good idea to show her his bedroom...if you know what I mean.
Since that night Jennifer begin to think that she was Nick's girlfriend.
"Oh no, I swear he told me that there was nothing between you two at all!" I exclaimed. She threw a temper tantrum towards me over the phone, on which I had hung up like 2 seconds later.
"Let me guess-"
"Don't! You're probably right," I said hurriedly. He smirked and came over to me before kissing me lightly. As soon as he pulled away, I felt like I want more.
"I've got to go-"
"Where?!" I said - a bit too anxiously, a bit too demanding. He looked at me, shocked.
"Back to Vallencia. Flight's this afternoon," he answered. My face fell.
"Have to sweetie. Or else the guards back there might think I've been kidnapped here - since I told them I would only be here for a day. Plus, Nick would strangle my head off if he knows about this."
"Why would he?"
"Not curious on how I can find you without breaking a sweat?"
I bit my bottom lip.
"Oh yeah, and plus I have a business to attend to after this," he said, looking at me sympathetically.

"Puppy, Whiskers and Snowy is in good hands!" I snapped, slamming the paperwork on his table.
"But, they're diet is really-" he started but I cut him off by glaring. "Oh fine, they are in good hands," he said, pouting.
"So what did happen between you and Alex?" he finally asked me after he drank his coffee.
"Who asks you to give him my address?" I shot back.
"Duh, him," he said. I gave him another glare.
"Nothing did!"
"Oh really? I don't believe it," Nick said cautiously. I shook my head.
"Nothing happened, really. What give you the idea that something happened?" I said as casually as I could.
"Everything that you had been through to get over him - and nothing happened? No 'Alex get the freaking hell out of my life' speech?"
"No," I said truthfully. The meeting was really pleasant rather than me kicking him out, surprisingly.
"No drama?"
"Nope."
"Damn it. I just wasted my time by asking huh?"
"Yup."

"Find a girl back in New York Alex hm?" King Richard challenged his son. Alex rolled his eyes. Just to try to piss his father off, he told him exactly what he wanted to hear, "Yes, I did actually."
"An aristocrat?"
"No."
His father glared daggers towards him.
"That's a delightful news sweetheart. Because honestly, I don't like you screwing with every girl in Vallencia anymore."
"So you assume that I'm screwing one in New York?"
"Better not in Vallencia anymore," she replied back. Alex swore that his parents are the worst parents any kid could ask for, because Emily was in the same room and they're talking about screwing people.
"Alexander, you are aware that you have to forfeit the throne to Nicholas if you're to be with this...this commoner?" the King said dangerously. Alex shrugged.
"Good. His work is ghastly there to begin with-"
"I'm not about to give the throne to someone who is not a Vallencia citizen! Let alone a person who had mess up this whole place up!"
"Almost. That was a very courageous thing to do actually - sticking up his foot up your pathetic ass I mean," Alex said casually. King Richard looked at him disbelievingly. "And plus, if you doesn't pass the throne to him, there's always the duke..." Alex said tauntingly before standing up and walking out of the room.
Already, he's missing the presence of Melissa yet again.
