A Lifetime with Prince Obnoxious [Part 6]
The prince is so pissed off that he started to throw things around - shocking Nicholas. Melissa met up with the oh-so-charming Daniel, and ended up getting more than just alcohol and company that night.[7th January - Monday]
Alex paced around his room, feeling so furious he could kill. The more he thought about what Nicholas had told Melissa made him even more furious. Soon, his fist twitched uneasily and without thinking, he slammed his fist onto the nearest mirror - and it felt good (despite the fact that his fist is bleeding profusely).
Suddenly, before he knew it, he starts to grab a vase and throw it directly towards the window - shattering both of the fragile glasses. He then work his way into wrecking the whole place.
The guards of course heard this noises and immediately rushed to his room. They kicked the door open, just to see a mad, rampaging prince in it. He was clearly upset.
"Your highness," One of them began, but Alex took a very large book and threw it towards them. "Get out! Get the effing hell out or I swear to god that I would personally slit your throat myself!"
"Alex!" Nicholas suddenly came rushing into the room.
"You!" Alex began. "I want you to go hang yourself!"
"Alex," Nicholas said, waving the guards away whilst approaching him. The guard quickly left the room, closing the door quietly.
"And to think I don't have any reason left to loathe you more, you just had to come and give me one huh Nick?!" Alex said, grabbing another flower-filled vase and smashing it towards the floor, completely ignoring Nicholas.
He punched another mirror. And when he was about to punch another fragile object, Nicholas moved quickly and grabbed his bleeding arm, stopping his punch mid-air. Nicholas could feel Alex's body shook with uncontrollable anger.
"Alex...Alex calm down," Nick said.
"This is all your fault..." Alex whispered angrily. And for the first time ever, Nick could have sworn that he thought that Alex would cry right there in front of him.
"I know..."

"Another martini?" Daniel asked. I nodded silently.
I find these alcohol highly addictive when I'm utterly depressed. What ever happened to the non-drinking Melissa, I've no idea.
"Melissa, you've got to tell me what's wrong," he said gently, sitting down next to me and giving me the martini. I took a big gulp out of it.
"Nothing is," I whispered, my head already spinning wildly. Absent-mindedly, I rested my head onto Daniel's shoulder. Mmm...warm. Then it brought up memories - on how Alex pulled me closer to him outside on the castle's fountain when I was working as a babysitter there.
"I hate my love life," I spat out suddenly without thinking. Daniel took a swig out of his beer.
"Why's that?" he slurred a tad.
"Because I don't have one," I replied back. When I was in high school, I always think that I don't need any boyfriends - that I can be independent. How time had changed.
Stupid time.
I hate Alex for being cowardly enough to not call me about his wedding. Stupid obnoxious prince.
I set the glass down and took Daniel's beer as soon as he was about to drink it. "Bottom's up," I mumbled and drank. Daniel chuckled.
"Someone's got too many to drink tonight," he said.
"Oh shut up. You're not any different," I snapped.
He pouted. "I like not drunk Melissa more. She doesn't snap at me," he said childishly. I laughed and took another big gulp of that beer.
God, what had gotten into me?
"Let's go to my bedroom," Daniel cooed. I giggled and got up, staggering.
"Gladly!"
