Twilight - Jonas Brothers - Chapter 5

The Next Day

"Where could he be?"Katie panicked,walking down the streets of Forks,looking for Nick.
"I don't know"Denise said,Katie could tell she was in alot of pain over losing Nick.
"Nick!"Katie yelled
"I think I could find him"Frankie said,stepping out
"How?"
"He's a tracker. Did Nick not tell you?. Thats how he found you."Joe spoke
"No. He didn't"Katie said,Frankie turned to the left,then the right.
"Oh no."he said
"What,Frankie!,WHAT HAPPENED!"
"He's joined the Harlow clan!"he said
"No.."Katie said
"What happened between you two before he left?"Kevin asked
"He asked if thier was a possibility of...us getting back togeather.."
"What did you say?"Joe asked
"That it probably wont be an option for awhile"Katie said,Joe sighed.

"The girls weren't after Nick. They were long-time daughters of James' old friends. Thier parents were killed by the volturi last year. Thier after you,Katie,thier using him because they know you have a weakness...thier going to kill him"Kevin said,then dropped on his knees,wich wasn't normal for a Vampire to do. Since everything they did was perfect. Co-ordinated. Abstinate. Falling to your feet was NOT something that a normal vampire would do.

"Kevin. Get up. I need you and Frankie to lead us to the clearing."Katie said
"Can do."Kevin said,him and Frankie ran ahead and Katie followed,once in the clearing they waited. They looked at the fancy wrist-watch that Kevin was wearing. 11:12:53.
Katie wated for the Vampires in the clearing,hoping,praying they caught thier scent and it led them here. Sure enough. Three Females and one Male,Nick,emerged from the bushes in a long stride,almost like hovering over the grass and walked straight through a puddlethatthe Forks weather had left behind,the puddle had seemed to be the only flaw in thier stride.

"Nick,what are you doing?"Katie asked as they stopped about 15 feet away from them,Nick glared and growled. "Nick,please,you have no Idea what thier going to do...thier going to kill you" Katie pleaded,Nick looked at Selena
"No we wont,baby"she smiled and kissed him ferverently,Katie growled and pounced on her,sending her into the ground,sliding across the forest floor,Nick looked back and watched as Katie placed her head close to her neck,Selena struggled but Katie used her power to hold her down.

"Today you die"Katie smiled
"Today...he dies with me"Selena smiled,Katie looked back at Nick as Leah and Aurora surrounded Nick,they smiled and Katie threw them out of Nick's way,Selena flung Katie into Nick and they landed with a loud thud.

"Stay away from him!"Katie screamed as Selena approached him,barring her teeth.
Katie pounced and held her to the ground,Kevin,Joe and Paul were finishing off Aurora and Leah. Leah surrendered,but Aurora put up a fight.

"Kill her."Kevin demanded

Denise was standing in crouch position in front of Frankie,protecting him.

Joe made a fire as Katie ripped Selena apart with a loud roar and screeching,then it abruptly stopped.

As Selena and Aroura burned Katie smirked, "Too easy." Then she looked back where Nick was,he was growling at his family,

"You killed the only people that loved me!"
"Son,they tried to kill you"Paul said
"Get off me!"Nick yelled,Katie ran to him and hugged him,his eyes slowly faded back to honey-gold. He froze,but eventually hugged her back as tight as he could,Katie didn't mind after the scare she'd just had.

"I love you"she whispered,everyone "Aww"ed,Nick smiled and purred softly in her ear and nuzzled her neck,Katie smiled and nuzzled his neck too.
"I love you,too"Nick smiled,Katie purred and hugged him tighter.
