~Bella's Sister//Jacob Black // Edward Cullen//[4]~

I awoke to sunlight beaming in my face and I shook my head a sunny day in Washington? Had I died in my sleep? Did Bella choke me with a sock? I sat up in the couch and I heard my joint crack relieved. Yawning I sat up and looked around the house seemed unusually quiet, it had to be at least 9 in the morning right? (ok I don’t remember what day it was but I’m going to say it’s Sunday ok J ) squinting my eyes as they adjusted to the brightness of the sunlight I looked around the room. I heard a laugh and with my eyes still squinted I looked to my right to see Bella standing in the Hallway holding a bowl of something that she was mixing. “Bellz?” I asked wondering what she was doing and laughing at. “come on Breakfast is almost done.” she said with a happy smile and walked into the kitchen, I was utterly confused, since when is Bella nice to me? I stood up anyways and walked to the kitchen. I saw Shannon sitting at the kitchen table eating a huge pile of pancakes, I laughed, this girl never had enough food, damn high metabolism. She looked up and began laughing her butt off. I scowled why the hell was everyone laughing at me!? “what?!” I boomed and her and Bella giggled at me, I pouted like a child and there was a knock on the door, I felt a sudden chill on my arms and thought of Edward Cullen, how random. I waked downstairs while Bella and Shannon continued eating and opened the door. I was still half asleep so I thought who was standing in front of me was just a mirage or something. “Cullen?” I asked sleepily confused and my eyes were squinted again. I peeked my head past him and saw that it was dark and gloomy outside as usual. Had that not been sunlight? I groaned, it had been Bella with a flashlight!!! I turned around and her and Shannon laughed their butts off again. “you guys suck!” I hissed at them and Shannon giggled. “nope! Sounds like you do! Ha-ha vampey!” she said and Edward chuckled, like It Was his own inside joke. “why are you all so mean to meee?” I whined like a little girl and pouted. I remembered Edward and opened the door more, he had small droplets of rain on his hair and coat. “Edward!” Bella sang and ran o him pretty much shoving me out of the way and I fell flat onto my face. “ughhhh.” I groaned quietly to myself and stood up not even looking at them walked to the kitchen and made myself a plate of food. “So I have to go to the bookstore today Shay wanna go with?” I asked as i took a bite of pancakes, honestly I hated pancakes but I didn’t feel like being mean this morning so I just ignored it and ate them. She thought a moment and shrugged, which meant she wasn’t really interested at all. “Well then you can stay her and set up your bed in my room, I have another mattress in the closet.” I said and took another disgusting bite. “I thought you really hated pancakes.” Shannon whispered to me and I noticed Bella and Edward now stood in the kitchen as well. Edward was watching me while Bella got herself something to drink. “I do..” I groaned in a whisper already feeling queasy. “then why are you eating them?” she asked confused and I shrugged not responding and glanced over at Bella with a look of sadness in my eyes. ‘Maybe if I didn’t fight with her, which only happened if I really tried hard, and if I didn’t complain as much, which was a habit sadly, maybe she would except me as her flesh and blood. Maybe we could be friends and I wouldn’t have to act so tough for her attention.’ Edward had a pained look on his face as he watched me and Bella spoke to him taking his attention. Placing my dishes in the sink I walked to the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. After all of that was taken care of I changed into :

Grabbing my purse with my money and car keys, all the things I needed I walked my car saying goodbye to everyone, it was already 4. I had been wrong, it had been 11 o’clock not 9. I got into my car, which was aka Charlie’s not police cruiser and pulled out of the driveway making my way slowly to port angels. I needed to do some research, I needed to find out what was wrong with me. I drove up to a book store aka library and it looked old. I found a small group of old looking computers. I sat down and looked in the book catalog and wrote down the books bar codes and looked around the different isle, it was quiet and I was probably the only person here. Well that’s what I thought until I heard guy’s voices. ‘what would a group of guys be doing in a library?’ I thought and I rolled my eyes at my stupidity. ‘picking on someone of course!’ I looked around the halls after I finally had found my books and saw a shorter girl, well shorter than me, and she was standing against the shelves of books while the boys taunted her, she looked my age, why was she letting them push her around? Her shoulder length naturally red hair was the first thing I noticed, it sort of reminded me of Ron Wesley’s from Harry Potter. She glared at the boys with her dark green eyes, it was sort of hard to tell in this lighting what color eyes she had. She had pale skin like me and the boys seemed to be teasing her and they had some of her books. I thought of the name Jenn. I walked up to her and I silently cursing myself for how this outfit would look provocative to men, the way the v in the neck could show my chest. I walked up waving at her, she looked at me confused like “who the hell are you?” “hey Jenn!” I called smiling, hopefully she’d play along. She looked very shocked now and said. “oh! Hey! Finally you came!” In my mind I cheered myself on ‘point one Bethany!’ the guys looked at me there teasing stopped. “hey baby what’s your name?” the blonde one holding her books said smiling trying to hit on me. I blinked and walked over to him getting close to his face. “wouldn’t you like to know.” I stated and blew into his face gently making him close him eyes for a moment as my strawberry gum scented breathe hit his face, as soon as he closed his eyes I motioned with my eyes for Jenn to start leaving. She soon caught my draft and slowly started walking away. “yeah I would.” he said and swallowed hard his eyes going down from my face to my body. “I’m sure.” I whispered and he looked at me his eyes glossy, he was so perverted. I moved my hands down towards his hips and quickly took the book out of his grip and quickly ran away, him and his group quickly following. I saw Jenn still slowly walking and I sighed. “Jenn hurry up! Run!” I yelled passing her and she started running too, but suddenly her foot got caught on one of the legs of a bench and she tripped, I caught her before she could smash into the ground and she looked up at me surprised. I helped her up and the guys were no longer following us. I motioned for her to follow me and we crept behind isles and hid behind couches and chairs as w made our way to the front counter. We were almost there when I felt something grab my leg. I looked to see Jenn. “what is it?” I whispered still looking around. “I lost my ring.” she whispered and she sounded a if death itself had come for her. “what? So what!” I whispered like she was crazy. “you don’t get it, I love that ring!” she said and I groaned in my mind and whispered back to her. “ok. What does It look like?” she described it to me, it was a black leather and silver ring with a silver cross in the middle. I nodded determined, that would stick out like a sore thumb! Then it hit me, ‘damn…it’ll stick out like a sore thumb.’ “what’s your name?” Jenn asked when I looked in the cracks of where we had passed. “oh, Bethany Swan.” I said as we crawled and looked behind the couches. “what’s yours?” I asked and she seemed to hesitate, I glanced back at her, she nodded to herself. “I’m Jenn, Jenn Swanson.” She said in a whisper voice like I was using. I closed my eyes, Jenn, how bizzar was that, there really was something seriously wrong with me, ‘maybe I somehow fell into a pool of toxic waste as a baby and I’m really super Bethany!’ “how did you know my name was Jenn? I’ve never met you before…” Jenn whispered in wonder and I sighed “I guessed, it’s bizzar that Jenn is your name though.” I spoke truthfully and she shook her head almost like she was speaking to herself. “that was some guess.” then the memory of her falling when her foot got caught on the chair. I groaned, that was a far ways away. But I knew hat’s where it was, I wasn’t sure how I knew, but I knew. “when you fell. That’s where you lost it.” I said and she a dumbfounded look on her face. “of course!” she said and I laughed and so did she quietly. We quickly ran towards the chair she tripped over but I heard those boys voices! I suddenly just collapsed onto the floor, which probably made it look like I fainted, but I army crawled towards the chair. Our destination. I stuck my tongue out of the side of my mouth as I reached for the ring, which did stick out like a sore thumb. I was less than two inches away from the ring with my hands when a foot stepped onto it. I looked up there Blondie stood with a smirk on his face. I swallowed the only thought in my head was ‘shit.’ “well hey there baby.” he said and I glared at him. He leaned his face closer to the ground. “now if you just be cooperative and let us have what we want then it’ll be easy and you’ll have a fun time too.” he said and I just wanted to spit in his face, that’s what he deserved. “and what is it that you want?” I asked and I heard Jenn say my name. I looked up to see the other guys there too. “we just wanna have a little fun with you girls.” he said and I couldn’t help myself. I spit in the boys face. He glared at me and I punched him in the throat having him fall backwards onto his friends, I grabbed the ring and me and Jenn booked it to the front desk quickly checking out our books and leaving. “do you have a ride?” I asked and she shook her head at me. “hop in.” I said and got in the drivers seat handing her her ring back. “thanks.” she said and slid it back onto her hand. “so where do you live?” I asked as I turned on a good radio station instead of the talk shows Charlie likes listening to. “I live in Forks. Just 2-3 miles from the high school.” she said and I smiled brightly. “no joke! I live in Forks two!” I said smiling happily and she joined me. “what grade are you in?” she asked me, I turned the radio down a smidge. “I’m actually graduating this year.” I informed her and pushed some hair behind my ear as I nodded smiling. “oh! Me too!” she said and I was excited! “Yeah! How come I haven’t seen you at school!?” I asked and turned to her as I stopped at a stop light and let cars pass. “oh, well I was in Phoenix visiting my Aunt Lacy.” she said and I nodded continuing my driving. “Well I hope we have some classes together!” I said flooded with happiness, here I go out to see what is wrong with me and I make a new friend! “does this make us friends?” she asked and I nodded handing her the book I had taken from Blondie. “well if you want to be I’d love it.” I said smiling. “I only have a couple friends.” she said and I couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face. “Well now you have another to add to your collection.” I joke and she laughed with me. “Ok, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow at school then.” she said and waved as I parked into her driveway. I waved back and pulled out driving home, it really wasn’t that far away. ‘knowing her name point two Bethany! Getting her book back from creepy Blondie point three Bethany! Spitting in Mr. Blondie’s face point four Bethany! Getting her ring back point five Bethany! AND having her become your new friend point SIX Bethany! Woot woot!’ I cheered myself on doing a little dance as i walked into the house running towards the kitchen to eat dinner. I danced gracefully as if I were a ballerina as I took things out of the cupboards and the refrigerator. I put the muffins in the oven and set the timer with one of my legs toes as I also leaned the opposite way reading directions for how to make stuffing. I was mixing it all in a giant bowl and I put it in a pot to cook and started on the mashed potatoes. The timer for the muffins went off but my hands were full so once again I lifted my left foot and pressed the button, everything was going good, I was in my own little world until I was interrupted in my singing as I felt someone’s eyes on me, I held my breathe my cheeks flushing, I had been dancing. I spun around slowly to see the familiar face of Edward Cullen. “oh, hey Edward.” I said and my blush still heated on my face. “hello, what are you doing?” he asked curiously, I giggled. “making dinner of course!” I said, he seemed to laugh at my giggle and then he said “but usually Bella cooks.” I stared at him for a moment not really listening but then I heard the screeches of anger. “BETHANY! WHAT! ARE! YOU! DOING!?” she screamed and I felt bad for Edward, he had an insane girlfriend. “making dinner doy.” I said my face blank even though I was upset that she still hated me. “exactly! Why are YOU making dinner!?!? I cook not you!” I rolled my eyes at her childishness. “we can both cook Bella, geez it’s not the end of the world calm down!” I said and suddenly she looked very calm. She was quiet and me and Edward both watched her with worry. “Bellz are you okay?” I asked worried and she smile at me, I was shocked, her smile looked so calm, so happy and carefree. I smiled too, she looked so beautiful in that moment, like she actually loved me and my existence. I froze then and my smile fell, realizing something that scared me. “where’s Shannon?” I asked suddenly frightened and alert putting the bowl down running through them to my room. “Shannon!?” I called and flew the door open looking around frantically. Bella and Edward were behind me and suddenly I stopped dead in my tracks, I couldn’t move my body and something took over me. I saw Shannon, she was lost in the woods! Were was she though!? There was a house it was giant!! She was so lost and scared! I came back to reality and Edward had s shocked look on his face he stared at me with pure astonishment. I held my head, the pain hurt so bad. “where is she!?” I groaned through the pain, it hurt so bad. “Bethany calm down! We’ll find her!” Bella tried to calm me down but I pushed her aside. “no! there going to kill her!” I yelled and stumbled out of the room. “who!?” Bella asked chasing after me with Edward. I shook my head tears coming down. “I don’t know!” I balled and weakly reached the front door before I collapsed. Bella screamed for some reason and suddenly I was in Edwards arms, the pain slowly subsided and I looked around, my senses seemed enhanced and I felt as if I was reborn and could take anything on. I stood up and walked out the door with them following still in shock. “hurry!” I said as I ran as fast as I could and ran through the woods dodging every obstacle in my way, it was like I was dancing again, like I had been in the kitchen. It was dark outside and I saw light ahead. I ran towards he familiar seen, total desavu. ((couldn’t find right spelling -_-” )) I ran and ran until I could hardly breathe, there I saw the scene I had dreaded to see, Shannon standing there looking lost and the three people standing behind her in the woods, looking like hungry beasts. I forced my body to run towards her and I saw one of them pounce at her. I screamed out her name in agony as I reached out my hand for her, I needed to help her! I needed to save her! They wouldn’t hurt her! Suddenly there was a pink glow and the person who had pounced was thrown like a rag doll in the opposite direction. I stared wide-eyed as I looked down at my glowing pink hands.
