Turned away in disgrace
Felt the chill upon my face cooling from within
Cold.
Afraid.
Alone.
That is how he felt. Kimimaro lay in Kabuto's lab. Waiting. Waiting for nothing in particular. Waiting for no one in particular. Just.... waiting. His illness had reached it's peak, making him weaker and weaker everyday. Kimimaro felt like crying. Here he lay, with no one to care for him. Kabuto looked after him, sure but he didn't care. He didn't care like Orochimaru-sama used to care. Orochimaru-sama used to visit him everyday. Orochimaru-sama used to sit with him and tell him everything would be alright. Orochimaru-sama used to care. Until he came. Uchiha Sasuke. After he came, Orochimaru-sama stopped visiting everyday. Until he came, Orochimaru-sama stopped saying everything would be alright. Until he came, Orochimaru-sama stopped caring.
It's hard to notice gleaming from the sky
When you're staring at the cracks
It's hard to notice what is passing by with eyes lowered.
Kimimaro looked around the depressing room. He sighed in aggitation and attempted to sit up. He gasped inpain and began to cough. He coughed violently and brought up blood. Before he knew what had happened, Kabuto was at his side, he had made Kimimaro lie back down and he wiped the blood away from his mouth tenderly.
"You shouldn't strain yourself, Kimimaro-san," Kabuto insisted.
Kimimaro glared at him and whispered "Where is Orochimaru-sama?"
Kabuto laughed bitterly and said "He is with Sasuke. He is training him,"
Kimimaro felt as if his heart was breaking. What did Sasuke have that he didn't? Kimimaro knew he was ill. He knew he was going to die. But yet, he couldn't help the feeling he had. Was it jelousy? Was it envy? He didn't know. Orochimaru-sama always told him he was beautiful. Kimimaro was beautiful. And Orochimaru-sama knew this.
Kabuto pushed Kimimaro's silky white hair out of his bright green eyes and said "Rest now,"
And with that he left the room.

Kimimaro watched him leave and he sighed again. A forlorn, surrendering sigh. Kabuto always told him to rest. Kimimaro glared at the IV drip that was connected to his arm. So many times he had tried to pull it out. So many times he had failed. So many times Kabuto had told him off. But Kimimaro never listened. Kimimaro didn't want to listen. He didn't want to suffer anymore.

Kimimaro heaved himself and pulled the IV away. He pulled all the wires, tubes, etc, away from him and attempted to stand. Having not walked for a while, he stumbled slightly but he maintained his balance. Having found this new found strength, he walked out the lab and made his way outside.
As I... walked away, heard them say
"Poisoned hearts will never change"
Walked away again

Kimimaro walked through the forest aimlessly. He didn't know where he was going. Not that he cared. He just needed to get away from there. Just.....away.
Kimimaro approached a lake. He looked at his reflection. His perfect reflection, the water shimmering in the summer sun. He knelt down andreached outto touchthe water, his reflection. He sighed and shivered at the coolness of the water. He stood up and looked to his left. There, under the tree was a white flower. He smiled lightly and walked toward it. He sat next to it and gazed at it for a few minutes and remembered what Orochimaru-sama had said to him, years before;
"Like how you found that flower. Like how I found you,"
"Yes..." Kimimaro said to himself, "You did find me Orochimaru-sama, buttry and find me now...."
Kimimaro closed his eyes. he felt his body weakening....
And darkness dominated his light as he slipped into the abyss of nothingness, emptyness...
Cold
Afraid
Alone.
