| My Worst Enemy | /A Neji Hyuuga story\ Chapter 16

I walked to Neji's window and knocked on it. He let me in and I sat on his bed as he closed it. Neji looked at me with sad eyes.
"W-What's wrong?" I asked.
"Is it true?" he asked, "Are you really a spy from the Rain Village?" My jaw dropped and my breathing sped up.
"...Do you hate me?" I questioned. He looked down at his hands. I wrapped my arms around my body and looked away from him. He hated me.
"I could never hate you. I'll love you until the earth dies," he said, bringing my face suddenly to look at him. I had wide eyes and I was speechless. I wrapped my arms around his neck and dug my face into his chest.
"I love you too," I whispered. He pulled me away and kissed me. I kissed back. He smiled. I pushed him back onto the bed and sat on his waist. He smirked this time as I kept kissing him. He wrapped his arms around my back. He pulled me closer to him, making no space between us. I started to run out of breath. I could tell he was too. I started to pull back, but he pulled me in closer forcefully. I bit his lip hard and he whined, letting me go. My lips hovered over his neck, my hot breath trickling on his skin. He moaned quietly. My breath was quick, so was his. His lips settled on my neck, pushing my hair aside. He licked at my neck and nipped at it. I moaned loudly.
"Shhh," he whispered into my ear. I grunted in reply. Neji smirked and went back to my neck. I slipped my hand down to the edge of his pants. I tugged at them, taunting him. He let out an irritated moan. He knew I wouldn't do anything, but only taunting him. He bit hard on my neck in one certain spot. I gasped.
"W-What was that for?" I asked. He licked the dripping blood.
"You won't leave me, will you?" he whispered. I kissed his lips.
"Never," I whispered.

We were able to keep us a secret. I'm thinking it'll stay that way for a while.
Some kid's supposed to come back. He's really popular with all my friends...and their friends. Everyone was so happy, he was supposed to come back today.
I walked up to Tenten. She smiled and turned back to Sakura. They were talking. "I can't wait to see the knucklehead."
"I wonder how much he's grown," Tenten wondered. "If he did at all." Sakura smiled.
"Yeah, but I'll bet my life that he comes back a whole lot stronger!" Sakura yelled.
"You guys are talking about Naruto, right? I've been told a lot about him," I said.
"Yes, he's a great person," Tenten said.
"So what's going on?" I questioned.
"Nothing much. We're just walking around the village," Sakura said.
"Oh," I said. "I heard Naruto was supposed to come today, though. Are you sure you're just 'walking around the village?'" Sakura looked down and Tenten smiled.
"Yeah, we're kind of waiting to see if he's coming today," Tenten said. Then she looked up at the sky. "Oh crap, I forgot. I gotta go, Sakura, Aneko. Bye!" She ran off. I shook my head slightly as Sakura and I started walking side by side. We weren't really that close. It was sort of awkward.
"So... What's your relationship with Naruto?" I asked, turning towards her. She turned pink.
"W-Well, he's my friend and teammate," she said.
"You like him, right?" I questioned.
"N-N-No!" I smiled at her.
"Hey!!!" yelled a voice. I didn't recognize it, but Sakura did.
"Naruto!" she yelled. A blonde haired boy ran up to her. She looked up at him. "Wow! You're taller than me!" Naruto looked down at her, then leveled their heights. He was taller. He laughed and they started talking about all kinds of things. I pouted.
"I feel ignored," I said. Sakura and Naruto looked at me.
"Sorry, Aneko!" Sakura yelled.
"Who are you?" Naruto asked.
"Washiro Aneko," I said.
"I'm Uzumaki Naruto!" he yelled happily. I could tell I would like this guy.
"So you guys wanna go eat or something? I'm starving and gonna go anyway," I said.
"Where?" Sakura asked.
"I was thinking Ichiraku's," I said. "I can't pay though."
"Sure, I'll go," Sakura said.
"Oh yeah!" Naruto yelled. He put an arm around me. "I can tell we'll be great friends!" I shook my head and chuckled slightly.
Later that night, I met up with Neji at his house. He let me in and I sat on his bed. I giggled and kissed him. "So what's up?" I asked.
"Not much, just boredness," he replied. I smiled. "What are you so happy about?"
"I met Naruto today," I said. "I think his hyperness is wearing off."
"Oh lord," he said and rolled his eyes, taunting me. I stuck my tongue out at him, then kissed him. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. When we pulled back, he started sucking at my neck. I moaned loudly. He bit down to make me quiet.
"Neji, what's going on-"
"F-Father, I wouldn't go in there!" Hinata's voice yelled. Then, Hiashi walked in without knocked, Hinata behind him. We both seperated. Hiashi's eyes traveled from Neji to me, then back to Neji.
"U-Uncle Hi-"
"What is she doing here?" Hiashi asked. "And what exactly were you two doing before?" His voice dripped with anger.
"H-Hiashi, I-" I was cut off. I didn't really think it was a great time for me to speak anyway.
"Come with me," he growled. He was talking to both of us. I glanced at Neji and he nodded. We both stood up. I felt so uneasy. I bit my lip. Neji seemed so calm. Maybe that's one requirement you would need to be a jounin. I never was, I skipped over it.
"We'll be ok," Neji whispered to me as we walked down the hall. All the dirty looks I was getting didn't tell me that. We were taken to Tsunade's office. No...Neji was going to get punished. He would never tell me what it was, but he said that for being involved with me, there was a punishment. I looked at him as Neji and I were standing before Tsunade. Neji was looking down. He seemed to be deep in thought. I looked out the window at the dark sky.
"So how long have you two been meeting like this?" Tsunade asked.
"About a month and a half," we both answered.
"How far have you two gone?" she asked.
"We-"
"I'm surprised the girl isn't pregnat," Hiashi said.
"We haven't done anything like that!" I screamed.
"Aneko, calm down," Neji whispered.
"But, Neji, I'm not just gonna let them say we did something we didn't!"
"It's alright," he said. He looked up at Tsunade. "When?" She glared at him.
"The day after tomorrow," she said. I was confused.
"What? What do you mean by the day after tomorrow?" I asked.
"Then...Neji will be put to death," Tsunade said darkly. My breath was caught in my throat. I looked at Neji.
"B-But that's ridiculous! He never really did anything!" I yelled.
"He was warned about this before," she said calmly. It seemed like I was the only one freaking out. Neji wasn't speaking. It hurt me to know that he refused to speak to me, to look at me.
"So that's what the punishment was? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him. He didn't look at me. "Neji, look at me!" He snapped his head at me. He looked sad. "Why?" I asked again.
"I didn't want you to worry," he said. "I promise, it'll be ok." I looked down. I wasn't so sure of that.
"You two are dismissed," Tsunade said. I looked at Neji. Hiashi glared at me.
"Go home," Hiashi told me. I nodded hesitantly, kissed Neji's cheek, and left.
I went home to see Miki asleep, and the babysitter watching her sleep. I paid her and she left. I sat by Miki, waking her up. She sat up and looked at me blankly. Then she jumped onto me, wrapping her arms around me. I smiled slightly.
"Miki knew you would come home soon, Big Sister!" She grinned at me. She noticed my emotion, sadness. "W-What's wrong?"
"Y-You know that boy, Neji?" I asked. She nodded. "Well...H-He's been put to death. The day after tomorrow is the last day we'll see him." She hugged me tightly.
"I'm sorry, Big Sister," she whispered. "You can cry if you want." I wrapped my arms around her and rubbed my face into her hair.
"I might just take you up on that offer," I whispered, letting a few tears come down, followed by millions more. I cried hard that night, having my little Miki to comfort me.
