I got out of the bed reluctantly. I really didn’t want to get up. Today me and the girls were going to a down town cafĂ© in London called The Tea Boot. Yeah, I really don’t get it either. Ever since we’ve been here we haven’t truly stopped to take in some of England’s “amazing” tea. I have never really been a big tea fan but hey! It’s England! Home of the tea lovers and why not try some of their delicious tea? Anyway.

I ran my hands through my hair as I continued to look out the window. The bright, cloudy, light reflected off of my white tank top as I stared out with my arms hugging my knees. I yawned and I officially left the bed and went to my wardrobe. Yeah they have these amazing wardrobes for closets here in London. They’re fabulous. I picked out my green skinny jeans and my black with gray Muse logos and one white muse logo in the middle of the shirt. I laid them on my bed and went to the shower.

Feeling the shower on my back relaxed me into a nice daydream. Daydreaming of sunny skies, perfect lives, everything I had ever wanted. I shook my head to rid of it all and turned off the running water and stepped out of the shower. I blew dried my hair and clipped my bangs back. I did a quick make up job of just eye make up. Eye liner, Mascara, eye shadow, and that was all. I walked down the apartment stairs into the small but spacious kitchen. Jane, Alice, and Kalina were all waiting for me. Kalina’s hair was once again perfect. Blonde, straight, smooth, shiny and it fell a little bit passed her shoulders. She was gorgeous. Jane, the ginger, that’s what we like to call her, had nice red wavy hair, she too was pretty but not the over powering pretty. Then there was Alice, Black hair in a messy pony tail with a sly smirk across her face. Need I say more? She’s the sexy, spunky girl of the bunch. Then we have me I already explained my look to you but I’m kind of the well I guess I’m pretty. But I’m more of the I really care about what people think, but not a lot. I’m really outgoing but I’m not a show off. I’m just me.

Alice looked at me up and down and smiled.

“Nice outfit, Monica. You’re lookin’ hot!” She squealed. I laughed she was always such a little girl when it came to outfits. She always gave the greatest opinions on everything. And she always exaggerated.

Jane and Kalina nodded in approval and soon we were off in my Black Honda Civic on our way to The Tea Boot. We arrived and sat down at a table where one of our new British friends was serving us. Her name was Lilly.

“Is their anything at all I can serve you, lovelys?” She said. She had such a great accent I loved British accents

Jane spoke up. “We would like four regular extra creamy, green-spice teas.” Her eyes glowed when she gave her order. She was always excited when we tried something new.

Lilly smiled and gave a nod. “We’ll have them out in a bit. Until then enjoy you’re seats. Oh, and darlings, please make sure you add extra milk to your tea it makes them great!”

I just laughed. Everything was so clichĂ©. So weird. So British. But I loved it. She brought out our teas and we all began chatting. Just about numerous things. I looked around and saw a piano in the corner. I thought about playing it but come on. In front of people? Nah it didn’t matter. I got up from my seat and Jane grabbed my arm and looked up at me.

“And where are you going?” She asked childishly.

I responded. “I was going to play that piano in the corner. I’m feeling artsy today.” I smiled at her and went off to go play the piano until my caught something in the corner. I turned around and saw three men sitting at a table. One in bright pink tight pants with blonde shaggy hair, the other with neatly trimmed brown hair, and then the last with messy, spiky black hair. I gazed at them for a minute. Then I soon realized it. It was Muse. Dominic Howard, Matthew Bellamy, and Chris Wolstenholme. I nearly cracked. They were partly looking at me. The must of heard me say something about the piano. I had my Muse shirt on. I just remembered that. I regained myself quickly as all these thoughts passed through my head and I knew I should just go to the piano. Better to do that then look stupid and go halfway back across the room and sit down. I thought about them. I didn’t want to approach them. I couldn’t. I was too polite. I know they don’t mind fans but I just can’t do it. One thing however that struck me was how intently Matt was looking at me. Like I was the most interesting television program he has ever seen. I tried to make myself comfortable before I played. But I couldn’t finally I had had enough.

“Fuck it.” I whispered to myself and I began playing whatever came to my head. I played Muse songs mostly but I didn’t care. I played part of Butterflies and Hurricanes, Hoodoo, Feeling Good, and a few other songs that weren’t by them. Then I was done. I got up and walked back to the table.

They all had smiles on their faces. Alice spoke up very quietly.

“You do realize that that’s Muse on the other table over there, right?” She asked me with a big grin stretched across her face.

I paused as I reached for my purse to pay the bill. I sighed.

“Yes I do realize it. But I’m leaving I’ll see them another time probably. I don’t feel like intruding on them.”

They all began arguing with me softly about how I should talk to them but finally they gave up. I honestly didn’t want to disturb them. But I did honestly really want to talk to them. Finally I made up my mind and decided to leave them alone. I paid for the bill and walked out of the building.

I breathed in the air. It was fresh. The weather wasn’t cold at all and their was a tiny bit of sunshine. Jane, Alice, and Kalina looked at me. I spoke first.

“I’m gonna go find a mall. I know you guys wanted to see a movie but I don’t really feel like it. I haven’t really gone shopping since I’ve been here so I’ll think I’ll do that. Do you mind guys?”

Kalina spoke up. “No, it’s fine. Go ahead.” She smiled as they all did but they knew I was hoping to bump into Muse again. Or maybe Matt. I smiled and left down a street called Wembley (Yeah I know nice concert reference.)

I turned into a very large building that appeared to be a mall and began walking around looking at the different stores. I was in there for about twenty minutes when I decided to go up a level. I walked on to the moving escalator and felt my spirits get low. I probably wont see them ever again. Muse. My band. THE BAND! I shook my head and decided not to let it get to me. I might see them. I put my head down again and gave a deep sigh. Just then a voice spoke from the other side of the escalator. The down escalator.

“And why is such a pretty, and talented lovely girl looking so stressed on a day like today?”

I turned and there was the one and only Matthew Bellamy walking up the down escalator in order to stay on my level. I stared.
