[Star 3] Wishes [Hiroto; alice nine.]

When I saw him, my face immediately reddened. I bet I looked so stupid with my mouth hanging open like that. It’s just… I didn’t know what to say. All I could do was fumble with my fingers while looking for words. Until, suddenly, I felt a nudge to my ribs.

“Karin-chan,” Mayuki was whispering in my ear while she stared at the wild boy in front of us. He looked absolutely insane. He was swinging his arms in the air while yelling out loud apologies for the whole restaurant to hear. There was also with four other people behind him; just staring at him and by the look on their faces, I could tell they were wondering ‘What the hell is wrong with him?’ He looked like he was having a spasm attack. “Tell him that you’re okay! We’re attracting quite a lot of attention!” She whispered a tad louder this time, making sure I could hear her. I, as quickly as possible, did what she had asked.

“Sir, sir, sir, I am fine!” I tossed my hands in the air and gave off a radiant smile to show that I wasn’t lying. Once he heard this, he stopped his wild shenanigans. Thank god.

“Hey… You look strangely familiar!” He said with a cute, questioned look on his face. My heart skipped a beat when I heard this. That means he’s noticed me before! So I did exist in his world! “I see you every morning!” He had a big smile on his face. “You’re that cute girl who sits at the table far away from mine!” He realized what he had just said and put a hand over his mouth. I could see his cheeks turn a light shade of pink. After an awkward silence, he started up our conversation again. “Why don’t you ever say hello?”

“Well, the question is, why don’t YOU ever say hello?” I countered back. Oh joy. I’ve never thought that my first conversation with this lovely boy would be like this.

“Well have you ever thought that I might be shy? Hmmmm?!” He didn’t sound convincing at all.

“If you’re so ‘shy’,” I made air quotes with my fingers. “Then tell me why you were yelling and looking absolutely insane about 20 minutes ago!” I was definitely going to win this argument. I saw the color drain from him his face and he became silent. I loved the feeling of victory!
“Well… It’s because-“ The man started giving out his answer but he got cut off by a flash. Then more and more flashes came. I felt absolutely blinded. I could see the five men in front of me put up their hoods and place large sunglasses on their faces quickly.

“Look! It’s alice nine.!” A man shouted loudly and even more cameras started to flood around us. Who the hell is alice nine.? More flashes and shouting came. “HIROTO! IS THAT YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!” The same man shouted while taking pictures of us. I felt my cheeks get hot when I heard him say that. When the man shouted his name, it must’ve triggered a switch in all the female teenage heads. All at once, I heard girls yell out ‘HIROTO?!’ while I watched them turn around. The seven of us were immediately mobbed by the paparazzi and the fan girls.

“HIROTO! ARE YOU SINGLE?!” I heard a girl scream out and desperately attempted to grab ‘Hiroto’s’ shirt. We were being attacked. It was like we were the dinner of starving lions.

“NO I AM NOT!” He yelled out and tried to get away from the many manicured hands that were legally molesting him. My heart sank. “This is my fiancé!” He yelled out once more before grabbing my face and pressing his lips against mine.
