Oh, How I Wish (Nick Jonas Four Shot for ladyrebels2) Chapter 3

Sorry it took so long to get out, I serioulsy have no free time at the moment, I play softball Mondays - Saturdays and then I go to morning and evening service at church on Sundays. I'm still currently writing Chapter Four s hopefully it won't be too long to get out.

I awoke to my phone ringing; I rolled over to look at the time. 2:00 Am. I groaned, who would be calling me at this time? I checked my caller ID “Abbs <33” I quickly answered it.

“Hello?”

“Hey…Nick?” I heard Abby’s voice crack. She was crying.

“Abbs, baby, what’s wrong?” I sprang up in my bed.

“Cra-Crai-Craig’s b-been ch-cheating on m-me.”

“Oh my God, I’m gonna kill him!” She sobbed on the other line.

“Sweetie, you need to calm down.” She sobbed again.

“Abby, shh, it’s alright, do you need me to come over?” I asked already getting out of bed.

“A-actually…I-I’m at yo-you’re h-house.”

“What?” I asked running out of my room, downstairs, to the front door. I threw it open and there she stood, soaking wet from the pouring down rain, tears pouring out her eyes. Yet, she still looked beautiful. I hung up my phone and pulled her into my chest tightly. She sobbed on my shoulder.

“Shh, Abbs, shh, it’s gonna be alright babe, he’s not worth this. Shh, it’s ok.” I said trying to sooth her by rubbing her hair.

“I-I thought…h-he l-loved m-me.”

I closed my eyes tightly imagining me punching Craig in the face.

“Abby, he’s a player who’s not worth your tears.”

After about twenty minutes she calmed down. My pajamas were now soaking wet from her tears and from her standing in the rain. I brought her up to my room grabbed an old t-shirt and boxers for her to change into and I grabbed some new pajamas for myself at well, I walked into the bathroom to change my clothes and give her some privacy. When I was done I walked by my bedroom door, it was still closed. I went into my parents room, knocking first. I saw that my mother was up reading a book. She looked up at me, confused of why I was in there and why I was up at 2:30 in the morning.

“Hello Nicholas.”

“Hey mom, is it ok if uhh, Abby spent the night? Her and Craig just broke up an-“

“Of course Nicholas.” She cut me off. “Abby is always welcome here, I trust you guys to sleep in the same room.” She looked at me sternly.

“Thanks mom.”

“You’re welcome Nicholas, goodnight.”

“Night.”

I walked to my room again, the door was opened. I walked in and saw Abby curled up in a ball on my bed, tears forming again. I went over, wrapped my arms around her and held her tightly as she started to cry again.

Oh, how I wish I could punch Craig in the face right now.
