Chapter Five- The Ones who saved a Hyuuga

I opened the door to the new apartment the Hokage let me, Obana, Lolita and Tanaka have. Tanaka was drooling over the large amount of money the Hokage let us have, murmuring about some ‘getting rich quick’ scheme.

Money never really mattered to me, it was all paper and metal, if war was to break out it was fists and jutsus that kept you alive, money had little use at such a time.

But anyway, the place was bare, the carpet smelt of cat's pee and the walls were damp. This place was a dump! I walked into what was supposed to be our kitchen as the others whined in the other room about our home.

"Hey, don't come into the kitchen if you think that's bad." I was disgusted by what I found in the kitchen.

I heard moaning in there, it echoed through the apartment, two Hobos were having sex in there, mouldy food scattered around the place and vomit in the sink. If you thought that was bad wait until you smelt the room.

"I don't even wanna know what's in there!" Obana said, her eyes wide and white.

"What are we gonna do?" Lolita asked Tanaka, who was cursing to herself. Itachi and Kakashi guided us to the building earlier, we had a month to get settled in and get to know the area before we went to the academy. Or in Tanaka's case, start her private training.

"We need to get some new carpets, bleach, wash cloths, furniture and wallpaper, no paint instead, considering what happened to this wall paper, I don't take a chance my home will smell like shit." I said, acting as authority.

We were still in our dresses. "On second thought, we buy ourselves a set of clothes, and THEN we go get the cleaning stuff."

All of them complained, but then I grabbed some money and walked out. "Fine!" I called over my shoulder. "Stay then, I'll buy you some nice PINK clothes!" Suddenly they were at my side. A bit eager to change their minds aren't they?
I rolled my eyes and soon we were in the shops, looking for clothes. Lots of kids pointed at my face, I touched it and noticed what seemed like tattoos on my cheek.

I looked over at a nearby mirror and saw three red claw-like tattoos on my right cheek. I noticed Tanaka had four golden ones on her cheek, it actually added mystery to her appearance. That must have explained the stares people were giving us, they must be signals that we're Jinchuuriki. Like Naruto had the whisker scars on his cheeks and Gaara had the bags under his eyes, speaking of Gaara, he must be seven now, just becoming his cold self, maybe Aneko can change that? And Naruto and the other Genin would be eight, except for Neji's team, they'll be nine.

I sighed, turning away from the mirror and then something caught my eye, it was a shirt that was long enough to be a short dress, it was a mixture of light blue and lilac. It was complete with dark green pants that reached half way down my calves.

Perfect. I went up to the cashier and paid for them, the cashier glared at me but let me buy it. What the hell is wrong that that guy? I asked myself.

He knows you're a Jinchuuriki, kit.

Oh joy, but that would explain the glares everyone sent us. I looked around and saw Lolita, Obana and Tanaka with their own bags.
All of us got changed into our own clothes in nearby public girls West room. When I finished I whistled at their outfits, impressed at how simple, yet cool they looked.
Tanaka had a plain orange short-sleeved shirt on, black shorts that came just past the knee and black Shinobi boots.
Lolita had a sleeveless green shirt on with black shorts that came just above the knee, her hair tied back with a green ribbon, one long lock of hair covering her right eye.
Obana wore a grey short sleeved dress with black shorts underneath like Lolita.
We all complimented each others outfits, and then went off to our next stop, the hair dressers.
We had a trim and Lolita got red highlights in her black hair.
After that, we went to buy cleaning stuff. We then decided to get furniture after we clean the apartment. When we got back the hobos were gone, after lots of arguing and telling them I'd clean the kitchen sink and Bathroom, we set to work.
It wasn't until dinner, about 5PM, did we finish.Four freaking hours of CLEANING!
We collapsed to the floor, exhausted. "I wonder... if I'll see Neji?" Lolita asked herself.
"I'm gonna go to sleep..." Obana was snoring the next minute, Tanaka already asleep.
I gave Lolita raised eyebrows, she shrugged. "Hey, why don't we go find Neji-san, Lolita-chan?"

Lolita squealed happily, we left, locking the door [we were each given a key to get in]. Then we were off, ninja academy had finished by now.

"Hmm, if I were him, where would I hide?" Lolita asked herself.

"Probably the training grounds, he is obsessed with training after all." I answered, looking up at the [two inches] taller [than me] girl.
She nodded; "Does seem like him."
We left for the training grounds, when we got there; we stared in awe at the large dummies. "Hey there, fat-face!" Both Lolita and I turned to look a t what seemed like a younger Neji being intimidated by thugs, he was trying hard not to look scared.
Poor kid, I thought to myself, Lolita was already walking over, looking pissed. Oh boy, what did I just get myself into?
I ran after Lolita, who tapped on one of the boy's shoulder. "What-" Before the boy could even finish his sentence, Lolita clocked him, the sound snapping bones reached my ears and I winced. She had broken some of his teeth.
"OWW! YOU BITCH!" Then it was my turn to get angry.
I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A BITCH YOU SAD EXCUSE FOR A SHINOBI!" I yelled at him, sounding scarily like Anko. I knew he was a Shinobi because he had the Konoha headband tied around his forehead.
A fight broke out, Lolita and I won, I had a couple of bruises on my arms and legs, along with a split lip, but nothing bad. Lolita was pretty much the same, only she had a small cut on her cheek.
"Yeah you run you arse wipes!" Lolita yelled after them, as they ran.
"Remind me to add that to my insult dictionary," I said bluntly with a sweat drop running down the back of my neck.
"You have an insult dictionary?" Lolita asked.
"Of course not, you dim-wit."
"Stop acting like Genkai-sama-"
"Excuse me." I blinked, Lolita and I turning to the younger Neji, who held out a wet cloth to us. "Use this, to clean yourself up with."
Lolita looked shocked;

I smiled lightly, taking the cloth and then passing it to Lolita, seeing as she didn't respond I said; "Smooth Lolita-chan, just keep staring why don't you."
She glared at me with a faint blush on her cheeks, and then wiped her face off with the cloth.
"By the way kid," I said suddenly, remembering that Neji didn't know us. "Why you here on your own?"
Neji scoffed; "It's none of your concern." He was almost as tall as me, which was a pain in the arse.
"It is, seeing as I helped save you from being beat to a bloody pulp."
"Here, Yama-nii." I took the cloth from Lolita, surprised she called me 'sister' but I guess I was in a way, not that I would mind having her as a sister.
"Why were they picking on you?" Lolita asked Neji.
"Because I still have baby fat on my face," Neji answered, before his eyes widened, not realizing he spoke without thinking.
I smirked as washed extra hard on my face, and then gave Neji back the cloth, who reluctantly took it.
"And you were gonna let them walk all over you like that?" Lolita asked, infuriated at the thought.
"Don't Lolita-chan, we don't want anyone to turn into an arsehole." Lolita ignored me.
"Stand up for yourself, don't be scared to do so!"
"Shut up, I'm just a Side Branch member of the Hyuuga Clan!"
"So?!"
"I can't do anything-"
"You're a Hyuuga, you have the Byakugan, you can beat them easy so why hide?"
"I- wait, how did you know I have the Byakugan?"
"I..." Smooth Lolita, real smooth.
"Who doesn't?" I said, covering Lolita's mistake. "Although I don't believe the answer to everything is fighting, she's right, you shouldn't let people walk over you like that."
Neji watched us funnily, probably deciding whether we were following the path of Destiny or not.
"Look, just let us walk you home ok? And before you say anything, we're not taking no for an answer."
