Jake's POV

"Calm down dad it can't be 100 percent positive. Mistakes are made with this kind of thing." I said. Dad looked over at Nova. "How many did you take?" He asked. "Three." She said looking at him, I could tell how uncomfortable she felt. "And they were all positive?" He asked. She nodded looking down at the ground. "Would you mind leaving for a few minutes? I'd like to talk to my son alone." Dad said. "Of course." She said then left. Dad then turned to me. "Jacob! How in hell could you get this girl pregnant! I thought you had some sense left inyou!" He said. "Dad calm down we'll be able to work this out." I said. "Your both 17! Neither of you has a job and you were both living here, your not married! Jake! It doesn't take a fool to realize your in way over your head!" He said. "I realize that, but wha are we supposed to do? Just give the baby up! I'm not going to do that unless Nova agrees to it as well!" I said. "Well for awhile I'll have her stay with the Clearwaters, Sue probably has an extra room." He said. "What much more trouble could we get into! There's no use in making her leave!" I said. "Well let's not find you, now I'll call Sue and you go talk to her." He said and wheeled away.

Nova's POV

I sat down on the edge of the bed and stayed silent. I could hear them but I had decided to block it all out. I laid back and said nothing as tears started to spill out of my eyes. I heard a knock on the door and I wiped away my tears. "You can come in."I said and sat up. Jake walked in and sat down next to me. "What... what are we going to do?" I asked, trying to keep from crying. "I don't know. We should consider the two obvious options. Keeping the baby or giving the baby away for adoption." Jake said. I then suddenly couldn't take it and tears started to trickle down my cheeks. "Jake, I'm...scared." I said.

Jake's POV

I looked over at Nova and wiped away some of her tears then held her close. "It's okay, we can work through this."I said trying to soothe her and gentally stroking her hair. "It'll be okay." I said, I know I was trying to soothe her but I needed to hear someone say that to, I needed reassurance. I didn't know what we were going to do, but I was just as scared as she was.
