[Start]
“Everyone, I would like to introduce Miss Shizuka Najika, she’s a transfer student.” The teacher said, Najika beside him, smiling goofily. The teacher looked strict and cold, he wore thin-glassed spectacles; he had raven black hair and electric blue eyes. “Would anyone like to ask a question?” The teacher asked.
A few hands raised; the teacher picked a cold-looking boy from the back of the room. “Did you advance to high school? You look like you’re in grade school.” The boy asked, not minding Najika’s feelings…but Najika didn’t seem to mind either.
“No. I didn’t mii~” Najika said, still wearing that goofy smile. The boy nodded, understanding. Then the teacher picked a cheerful-looking girl from the middle-portion of the room.
“What’s your previous school?” The girl asked. The girl had her auburn hair tied into a ponytail and her blue eyes shined with life. She looked like one of those girls who tried to get along with everyone.
“Lily of the Valley All-Girls School mii~” Najika said, remembering the faces of her classmates, and as expected, she couldn’t remember everyone.
“Alright then, Maria-san, you can ask the last question.” The teacher said, nodding to a blonde-haired girl that looked like one of those…snobby…people. Her name’s ‘Maria’, kind of like ‘Mary-Sue’, right?
“Oh, you save the best for the last, right teacher?” Maria asked while the other people scoffed. Maria looked at Najika with those…snobby…smiles. Najika looked at her with dots as her eyes and goofy smile. “Hmm, do you know how to play tennis? This school has a great tennis team, and I, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, am the captain of the girls’ tennis team!” Maria said with pride.
“Eh, sou desu ka mii~” Najika said, still with her stupid expression. “Well, I do play tennis mii~” She added. “Eto ne, Mogi-sensei, Tsuyu-chan said that I can sit beside her mii~ Can I mii~?” Najika asked, turning to the teacher with her stupid expression.
Onihayashi Mogi almost laughed at the transfer student’s expression, but being the poker-faced, cold, demonic, teacher of Hyotei, he didn’t. “Ah, yes you can mii.” The teacher said, and then coughed when he realized what he said at the end of his sentence, his cough accompanied by the laughter of his students. Then he glared at the class behind his spectacles; the class stopped laughing.
As Najika walked toward her seat on the smooth, no-bumped, wooden floor, she tripped. The class, again, roared with laughter but soon stopped by Mogi-sensei’s powerful glare. Najika had a bright red blush on her cheeks as she sat on her seat.
“Today, we will have a pop quiz.” Mogi-sensei announced and everyone in the class groaned except for Najika, who still had a blush and stupid expression on her face. But Najika was horrified when the pop quiz was on Math…after that,
She died.
Not…literally. The author will be assassinated if that happened. Anyway, back to the story.
After a few classes, lunch came. Najika joined Tsuyu and Bow in their lunch. Tsuyu said that they’ll spend lunch in the roof, she say’s that it was ‘peaceful’…well…it is but it was really windy. “Hinamori, my feet are killing me…” Bow complained, sitting on the floor.
“Huh? It’s exercise so you don’t get fat!” Tsuyu said with a grin and sat with him, the wind blowing her curly blonde hair.
“Tsuyu-chan, Bow-kun, are you two going out mii~?” Najika asked in chibi form with her stupid expression. “You two look really close mii~” Najika said, now gaining the ears of a teddy bear…or just bear. But one is black and one is white.
“Huh? No!” Tsuyu said, sweatdropping. “And you look so cute in chibi form, Najika-chan! Wait, I should call you Chibi-chan! Ne, Chibi-chan~” Tsuyu said, hugging Najika as if she was a teddy bear (when she’s actually a Panda >3< ) and rubbing her cheek against hers.
“Her family’s a friend of my family.” Bow stated, sweatdropping at the sight of Tsuyu and Najika—who was already turning blue. “Oi, oi. You’re killing her…” Bow said, his eyebrow twitching.
Tsuyu stuck her tongue at him after she released Najika from the killer hug. “You’re just jealous that I’m hugging Chibi-chan~!” She said, playfully glaring at him.
“Like I would!” Bow said, fire coming out of his mouth. Najika appeared in front of him with puppy dog eyes. Bow twitched.
“You don’t like me, Bow-kun mii~?” Najika asked. Bow twitched again.
“Ah…err…gah…” Bow stuttered, staring at Najika with a hesitant expression. “S-Sorry…” He said. Najika made a bright smile.
“Then as punishment, Bow-kun has to give me a big big hug mii~!” Najika said, arms opened wide. Tsuyu snickered at the background. Bow had a blush that was had bright shade of red. Then Bow sighed in defeat and, blushing redder than ever, hugged Najika quickly.
“You should have seen your face, Bow!” Tsuyu said, laughing loudly. “I wish I had a camera! I would have posted it at the school bulletin board!” She added, smirking. Bow glared at her with the same power as Mogi-sensei’s glare. Najika just grinned and ate her lunch while her two friends were bickering.
“Ah, youth.” Najika said in an old man’s voice while in her chibi form.
The next thing Najika knew was that she was walking to the tennis courts with her friends. “I heard that Maria-san is the captain of the girls’ tennis team mii~ and you said that you’re the vice-captain mii~” Najika said. Tsuyu scoffed and nodded.
“That Maria is a really obnoxious person, but her skills in tennis are no joke. We have yet to find someone who can emba—beat her.” Tsuyu said.
Question marks were floating above Najika’s head. What was ‘Emba’? She was about to ask but she was bumped by someone.
“Ah, gomen! Kuso, buchou is going to make me go laps again if I’m late again!” A boy, probably 3rd year, said. He was wearing a blue cap on his head but Najika could see that he had brown. “Gomen!” The boy said and dashed off.
“What was that all about?” Bow said, irritated. Then Najika heard Tsuyu gasp. “Huh?” Bow asked, looking at her in confusion.
“Chibi-chan, you got bumped by one of the regulars in Hyotei! That’s Shishido Ryou! He’s a 3rd year!” Tsuyu squealed. Najika had that stupid expression on her face again.
“Oh…” Was all Najika could say, then asked: “Tsuyu-chan, what’s ‘Emba’?” Tsuyu and Bow did an anime fall.
Sweatdropping, Tsuyu said: “I ‘emba’; you ‘emba’; everyone ‘emba’. ‘Embalogy’ study of ‘emba’…” Tsuyu said in a sarcastic tone. Najika just stood there with more question marks floating over her head.
“Ne, Tsuyu-chan, you also might be late for your club mii~” Najika said with her goofy grin.
“Ah! Oh, yeah!” Tsuyu said, gasping. Then she grabbed Najika’s and Bow’s hands and dashed to the tennis courts. After the dash, Bow and Najika had swirls as their eyes.
“Dizzy is Najika mii~” Najika said, collapsing to the ground. While Bow just leaned on a post to support him.
“You can’t faint now, Najika-chan! You were going to play a match with meeee!” Tsuyu said, gripping Najika’s shoulders and shaking her violently.
“Au au au au~” Najika said, still had swirls as her eyes. “Please stop shaking me mii~” Najika pleaded; fortunately, Tsuyu stopped shaking her. “Najika will play but…” Najika said, standing, her legs wobbly.
“What?” Tsuyu asked, worried that Najika won’t play.
“Tsuyu-chan wont shake me violently anymore mii~” Najika said with a grin. Tsuyu nodded vigorously. “But I don’t have a racket mii~” Najika said with a frown. Then a blue racket was thrown to her, and unfortunately, it hit her head. “Auuuuuu~ Itai nano desu…” Najika said, rubbing her head.
“I, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, thought that you would be cool and catch the racket, but no, it seems that I, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, am wrong.” Maria said, coming to the scene. “Mattaku, but since Tsuyu seems to be eager in playing you, you must be talented, so you will play me, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, the queen of Hyotei! And I, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, am going to beat you! OHOHOHO!” Maria said.
Najika had swirls as her eyes again while Tsuyu and Bow counting on how many ‘amazing’-s, ‘glorious’-s, ‘I’-s, ‘Amaterasu’-s, and ‘Maria’-s did Maria say. “Woah. I think she said 3 of them all…” Tsuyu said, eyes widening.
“No, I think it’s 4.” Bow said.
“Really? I think it’s 3 though…”
“No, it’s 4.”
“3!”
“4!”
“3!”
“4!”
“5!” Najika piped in.
“YOU STAY OUT OF THIS AND PLAY A MATCH WITH THAT BITCH!” Bow and Tsuyu said in unison, pointing to Maria. Maria gasped.
“You cannot call me, the amazing and glorious Amaterasu Maria, a *toot*!” Maria retorted.
“See!? Now that’s 5!” Bow said.
“No, it’s 4!”
“5!”
“4!”
“5!”
“4!”
“AGH, you two! The match is already starting so SHUT UP!” A purple-haired guy with a girly haircut shouted to Bow and Tsuyu. The two blushed and said ‘sorry’.
“Aren’t you Mukahi Gakuto, one of the tennis regulars? Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be at practice?” Tsuyu asked.
“Atobe at first was annoyed at the noise that was happening here so he went to see, but then he saw Amaterasu-san and another girl enter the courts so he got interested because Maria is one of the best players here in Hyotei and was going to play a match with a person he doesn’t know of.” A guy with blue hair and thin glasses said, joining the conversation.
“Woah. Long explanation. Did you breathe?” Bow asked, eyes widening.
“Oh, no, I didn’t.” The blue-haired guy said, sweatdropping.
“C’mon guys, the match is almost starting!” Gakuto said, looking at the two girls at the net.
[Author's Notes]
Mai-chan: I am very sorry for my behaviour earlier, it's just that...my fingers really hurt from all that typing and all of it will be for naught... (TT_TT) At least I had a copy...that saves me. The regulars didn't appear much here, sorry, but they did appear right...well...some of them? That's better than nothing...
