Wanting to make that sunset I saw with you eternal....

She paused as she started to write her next sentence. When was the last time she had actually seen him in person? It was so long ago...she couldn't really remember anymore. Every time she'd try to remember the minor things that she swore she'd remember, she just couldn't.

'Even stretching out my hand, only trying countless times to to feel you in my memories... I just can't. Why are you so blurred?'

She wondered as she finally snapped back into reality.

We can never get back

The same scenery or feelings.

That's why we end up looking back on

The shining dreams of our pasts.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Because even in the brand new future....

She continued to write. She could feel her eyes swell as she wrote the next few words. She missed him so much. It was deep inside her heart that the grief overflowed. The feeling inside her chest wasn't a pleasant one. She knew that.

What ever happened between us were pleasant at times.....and it blurred our hearts.

She wrote, then stared at the piece of paper that laid in front of her. Twirling the pencil in her hand, she completely lost sight of things that could have happened without him.

Now....without him...what future was there? That question ran through her mind over and over again.

At times like these, everyone ends up coming to a stop and losing sight of it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

What color would the “tomorrow” we pain be,

In the middle of the changing seasons?

What color will the “future” that awaits be,

If we believe in each other strongly, strongly?

And even the most important memories will grow dull one day, but it's something that she would treasure, no matter what.

“Ne, Atobe, Let's go on that ride!” She exclaimed giddily as she pointed up towards the Ferris wheel.

The boy looked up. “Sakura....aren't you afraid of heights?” He asked as he raised a brow. The thought that maybe going on the ride wasn't such a great idea crossed his mind.

“Yeah, now come on!” She exclaimed as she pulled him towards the ride.

“Okay...” He frowned as they got into a compartment.

“So pretty....” Sakura mused as she stared out the window. They were only a few feet off of the ground, not too high. Atobe gazed at her with a smirk planted on his lips, secretly counting down. “Ne, Atobe,” She called out as she glanced towards him. “don't you think it's pr--” She gazed out the window once more, only to find that they were far off of the ground.

“Yeah,” He murmured as he walked towards Sakura, gently resting his arm around her shoulders. “But not as beautiful as you.”

She blushed a few shades as she snuggled into his chest, completely sealed away from the windows.

And so... they stayed like that till the end of the ride, but during the ride, she figured out that if she adverted her eyes from the windows.....she wouldn't be that scared. That theory was mostly supported by the fact that Atobe was there for her.

It let her escape from reality.

It let her escape into the word called “dreams”

Even if the broken yesterday of hurt was a “mistake”

Because if it's not too late,

I should do it all over again.

Time after time, right from the beginning.

Hey, Atobe.....how many times can we come to love someone? Could it be like loving the same person even in the middle of changing eras? Could it be....like reincarnation?

She dropped her pencil against the desk for the millionth time. It had only been a few minutes since she last did it. Was it so hard just to write a single letter to the boy she had loved? Even if he didn't love her back...her feelings for him would never change.

She puffed out her cheeks as she decided not to write the letter anymore. She was getting tired of the same routine over and over again.

Gingerly folding the letter into squares, she placed it into the box of other letters she had written. It had seemed that her box was overflowing....

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

What could I have done for you

If we supported each other closely, closely?

She stood on the sidewalk, waiting for the pedestrian light to turn green. The winter day seemed colder than the rest, but what could she do about it? She had to face reality alone, no one was there for her. No one was her key to dreamworld.

Seconds passed until a black car pulled up in front of her, waiting for the traffic light to turn green. The windows were rolled down, and the gray haired boy was visible inside the car. Sakura's eyes widened slightly as she saw him.

And his last words to her replayed in her head. 'In our overlapping hearts, there is happiness and sadness.'

Fits of giggles could be heard inside the car too. It seemed that he had someone else with him, a female. Sakura looked down towards the ground, trying her best to conceal the fact that she was there. Barely a sound came out of her mouth as she silently whispered a prayer that he wouldn't notice her.

With her eyes squeezed shut, she didn't notice the short glance that was directed towards her, and a frown that slightly emanated off of his lips.

'There is warmth and hate that will probably consume us both...' his voice continued in her mind as the car drove off. 'Because I know that our meeting had been something special between us....'

The rumble of the car engine slowly disappeared, leaving Sakura standing on the sidewalk, alone. It left her crying silently in the cold atmosphere.

And our days we shared...

Atobe Keigo sat in his car, the slight frown bloomed into a massive one.

“Keigo...” His mother called out.

“What is it, Mother?” He asked as he turned and looked to the side, facing her.

“Wasn't that Hitomi Sakura? You're girlfriend?” She giggled. Apparently she had had too much wine.

“No...” He replied, he could feel a metal ball drop onto his heart. The times they shared together, it was something he treasured the most in his life....but....there were times where people would have to let go. The fear of losing her entered his mind many times...to a point where he couldn't stand thinking about it.

It was right then, he had just ended it between them. The thing he had feared...he caused.

He sighed and looked out the window again. He made the right decision, that's what he kept telling himself.

Though, in reality, his decision had definitely scorched not only this heart, but hers too.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

What color will the “tomorrow” we paint be

In the middle of changing seasons?

Sakura sat in front of her door steps, just sitting there. He had definitely moved on. He had left her all alone, just standing there lost while he got on to his future. Maybe she should do the same?

Sighing, she finally stood up and started to walk inside her house, up the stairs, into her room.

The first thing that she gazed at was the box. The box that held so many memories. The box that held so many letters to him. She knew....she knew she had to get rid of the box. It was one of the main things holding her back now.

Silently carrying the box outside, she observed it for the last time. Something that held things so dear to her, her memories, her dreams, her hopes....all in just the many letters inside the box.

And the thought appeared in her mind again. Now that she has decided to move on, what color will the “future” that awaits be? She shook her head, clearly unaware of the answer.

Now she stood in front of the garbage bin outside her house. Holding her breath, she threw it into the bin and walked away.

Why did he do this to her? Was it that he didn't trust her?

Well, whatever the reason was, she was sure that it would make her stronger in the future. For now, she would have to find new memories to replace the old ones.

But....What if.....what if they believed in each other more strongly....strongly.... would this have happened?
