I was so glad to get out of there. I ran to our compartment with Draco, Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle and grabbed my robes and went into the bathrooms to change. When I came back Draco stopped talking and I sat down next to him. He put his arms around mine and Pansys shoulders. "So... what that Slughorn guy ask you about?"
"My Dad."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
The rest of the trip I was silent just listening to their conversations. When I was leaving I saw Draco looking up at a spot on the luggage rack. I decided to wait outside of the compartment door. I wondered what he was looking at. "Petrificus Totalus!" Then I was surprised to Harry Potter fall out. I really couldn't hear what Draco said but he stamped on Harry's nose breaking it. He covered Harry with his invisibility cloak and I went into another compartment then when he passed I ran back in. I threw off of him.
"Oh my gosh, Harry are you all right? Oops sorry wait a sec." I muttered the counter curse and he was able to move.
"Thanks, and besides that my nose is broken I'm fine."
"I have know idea why Draco would do that!"
"He would because he hates me."
"Well, I see your point. Want me to help you get to Madame Pomfrey?"
"Yes, I swear you're the only Slytherin that helps people on any House." Harry said while walking out with one hand covering his nose and the other pulling his trunk.
"Well, I'm fine being on Slytherin but I hate how most of them want to serve Vold" I stopped on that word.
"Voldemort." said Harry slowly.
"Yes, him. Well, he killed my Mum when I was 10 and my Dad over the summer." I felt tears come to my eyes. "And I have to live at the Malfoy's now."
"Wow, you have no family?"
"Yes, they all got killed or died of old age."
"Wow, it's almost like me while I get a Aunt and Uncle that hate me and their Muggles."
"That's bad."
"Yeah," we both looked up and saw that the gates were locked, I expected that the last carriage would be just going through here.
I kicked the gate. "Open up!" I shouted kicking it more. Harry pulled me back.
"I don't think that would work."He looked around. "Tonks!"
I turned around and saw a woman with mousy brown hair looking sad. "Harry! What happened to your nose?"
"Long story."
"Who's this?"
"Kasey Rivers." Tonks was waiting for me to respond but I was remembering something. My Dad was talking about killing someone and her last name was Tonks... well, she's alive. That's good.
"Oh, hi." I said giving a small smile.
"Hi, your father was a great Auror." she said while looking at Harry's nose.
"Yeah."
"You look just like your mother. Sad accident she had, I was really sad."
"Yes... accident." I saw her mutter a spell to fix Harry's nose and saw that there was still blood.
"Harry let me clean off the blood," I said. "Tergeo."
He felt his face. "Thanks Kasey." Then I saw Tonks release a silver thing from her wand.
"Sending someone to open up these gates."
"Er, thanks for helping me."said Harry.
"It was no big deal."
Then he gave me a peck on the cheek.
*hem,hem* I asked my friends who they liked (Harry or Draco) and what they thought. There was only two Draco fans and 6 Harry fan's. Here's what they said:
Draco fans:NO! She should be kissing Draco!*walks menincly toward me.*Me:Uh, ok now let's all calm down...*runs out of door*
Harry's fans:Yay!*Draco fans lurk in bushs out side of door* Uh, can I stay here?
I blushed. "Ah, I would expect Potter but not someone from my own House... my, my."said a greasy voice.
"I meant Hagrid to get the message."
I didn't know what Snape meant but he seemed to hurt Tonks feeling by saying "The old one was better the new one looks weak." He opened up the gates and let me and Harry in. "I was expecting Potter but surly not you Miss Rivers."
"Maybe I was helping him while Draco stepped on his face and broke his nose." I said sharply.
"Well, why did he?"
Harry's mouth was a thin line.
"I don't know. He was just lying down in his compartment with his nose bleeding and unable to move."
"Hm, why would Mr. Malfoy do that?"
"He hates me." said Harry glaring at Snape.
Then Snape took 70 points away from Gryffindor but none from Slytherin. "Hey what about me!"I said to him.
"Fine 5 points from Slytherin."He said carelessly.
I crossed my arms across my chest. He was no fair! When me and Harry walked in every head turned to look at us. As soon as we both sat down everyone started to talk. I saw Draco telling about what happened, he stopped in the middle of a sentence. "Where you Kasey?"
"Helping Harry Potter."
"You saw that?"
"Uh, yes. I helped him after you broke his nose." I really wanted to annoy Draco. "He kissed me!"Ah! I didn't mean to say THAT! "Oops!"I covered my hand over my mouth.
"He what!?" yelled Draco causing a few people to look over.
I still had my hand over my mouth, I could feel blush creeping up.
"We will talk about this later." said Draco harshly, his icy blue eyes looking into my violet ones. Then he turned around and continued talking. I looked down and started to eat. Why was I feeling this way? I never like liked Draco but when I said that I felt weird.... Like I made him mad or something....

Our "talk" was really annoying it was more that Draco was lecturing me. As I came down Blaise walked up to me.
"Kasey, I was thinking.... Well, since we've been friends and you aren't dating anybody... will you like to go out with me?" he asked blushing.
Blaise wasn't the best looking guy in the school but he was one of the nicest. "Sure!"I said Blaise is one of my best friends and last year he did seem a little more shy.
As the past weeks went on Draco seemed to ignore me more and more. He would act bitter to me even in Potions class, which I sat next to him. He finally lost it after I was kissing Blaise.
"You can't snog him!"Draco warned me.
"I can if I want to! After all he's my boyfriend, your not!"I yelled at him. "I don't like you! Every other girl may but I don't!"
He seemed hurt. "Well... fine, I'll leave you 'lovers' alone."he sneered out lovers.
Now I lost it. He had been making me angry these past years, last summer I thought we may get along but no, after I started going out with Blaise he started to go back to his arrogant, selfish ways. "I hate you, I hate you Draco Malfoy!" Then I slapped him across the face. There came many catcalls. He touched his cheek where I slapped him.
"B**ch." said Draco as I ran away.
Draco's P.O.V
I was walking down the hall when I saw Blaise and Kasey kissing. I clenched my fists. My blood was boiling. "You cant snog him!"I said after I pulled them apart. If felt like I was watching out for her. I mean she lives with me now.
"I can if I want to! After all hes my boyfriend, your not!"she yelled at me. People started to gather around us. "I don't like you! Every other girl can but I don't!"
I open my mouth a bit... was I hurt by that comment? "Fine, I'll leave you two 'lovers' alone." I really didn't mean to sneer out lovers. It just came naturally.
"I hate you Draco Malfoy!"Then she slapped me.Well, that was a first.
"B**ch."I muttered, then she ran off. I put my hand to my cheek. Why was I sad? How come I felt jealous? DO I LIKE HER?!
Draco fans:*spot stalking me*YEAH!

Back to Kasey.
I ran to my bed and started to cry on my pillow. I thought we would be friends... fat chance now.
"Kasey?" said my friend Sabrina.
"What?"I sniffed.
She sat down on my bed. "Is there something in between you and Draco?"
I sat up wiping my tears away. "Well, when my Dad died he said in his will that I had to live at the Malfoy's. And me and Draco were getting along but now him being distant and mad at me for kissing Blaise... I'm just so mad at him."
"Did you ever think that he liked you? Did he ever shows signs of liking you?"
I sat up straighter. "Now that you say it your right. I wore a halter top and he told me it was too low, and he's been awfully protective of me."
"See?" Sabrina winked. "He really does care about you. Maybe you should talk about it with him."
"How? I just slapped him!"
"And left a red hand print." said Pansy walking in smirking.
"Very helpful Parkinson."Sabrina rolled her eyes.
"I know."
"Get out!"
"Fine!" she walked out.
"Just like corner him in a the hallway or something."
Corner him in a hallway huh? That proved to be the weirdest, most surprising, and happiest moment of my life. And not to add the most awkward.
