Aubrey's POV
It was finally Christmas!!!
"AUBREYYY!! COME ON IT'S CHRISTMAS!!" Draco shouted into my room. I had just gotten my exercise done, and took a shower, so I changed into a pair of baggy sweats and a tee shirt.
I went downstairs to see Draco waiting anxiously on the floor near the presents and our parents in the chairs behind him drinking.
"Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad" I said as I hugged each of them.
"Merry Christmas dear" they replied and we started opening gifts as I sat on the floor next to my brother.
I got:
a broom necklace from oliver
a HUGE bag of sweets from Fred
a bag of pranks from George
a couple of quidditch books from Harry and Ron
a sweater from Mrs Weasley
accesories from Angelina and Alicia
a picture album from hermione (she wrote "you are definitely going to need this")
a detailed quidditch information book from cedric
a set of diamond earrings from Marcus
a gorgeous dress from mom
a perfect princess diamond crown from dad
and about a gallon of coffee from draco
and finally, I opened Viktor's present:
dear aubrey,
I miss you terribly. I wish you were here with me right now, celebrating Christmas together. It took me so long figuring out what to get you, but I hope you like it.

I opened up the large box, there was a bag of bertie bott's jellybeans, a cute teddybear with a bulgarian jersey, and a small black velvet box.
i opened the small velvet box, and there was a beautiful ring, but with no stone, but with intricate designs, and a tiny note inside.
aubrey-
this is my promise ring to you. No, this is not an engagement ring, but is the ring that will be there until i propose.
i love you, aubrey, and i promise to marry you soon.

I tried to bite my lip from crying as I put on the ring and admired it greatly. It was beautiful, and I knew that I loved viktor too.
viktor was out-of-this-world amazing, charming, sweet, adorable, and bloody hell hott.

FAST FORWARD-
Finally, we were going back to school.
I was so excited to see all of my friends, and viktor, again.
After my exercising and a shower, I changed into this:

I was so happy and giddy, that I curled my hair prettily, and put on mascara and natural makeup.
I walked out of my room with a little hop in my step, and Draco was waiting for me in the hallway.
"Finally, let's go" Draco said as we left.

when we arrived at the train, we both split apart in search for our friends.
"Aubrey!" Fred said as he saw me, and i ran up to him, jumped and hugged him.
"Freddy! thank you so much for the candy. it was magnificent" I said.
"Your welcome" Fred replied as we found George in a compartment with Oliver.
"Heyy you two" I said as I hugged each of them.
"Hey aubrey, thanks for the gloves" Oliver said.
"you're welcome. I thought you would like it" I replied.

Finally, we got to Hogswarts, I saw Hermione and she hugged me so tightly I thought i might burst.
"hermione, can't.. breathe" I tried to say and then she released me.
"Sorry, but I'm so happy for you" she said, whispering the 'happy' part in my ear. i smiled brightly, and we walked into the great Hall.
"Hey Aubrey" Cedric said as he hugged me from behind me. Our tables were once again next to eachother, so we got to talk.
"Hey Cedric, thanks for the quidditch book. It is going to help so much" I replied as he hugged me.
"your welcome, little quidditch baby" Cedric said. That was his nickname for me caz i was like a walking talking quidditch... baby.

"Welcome back to Hogwarts everyone!" Dumbledore announced once everyone had came in and sat down. Everyone cheered and yelled.
"The second task is coming soon, and there will be the Yule Ball coming up after it." Dumbledore announced and more yells came.
"oh great, this will be fun" i said sarcastically to Cedric.
"Oh yeah, definitely." Cedric replied, in the same sarcasm.We both laughed.
