Viktor's POV
It was the day of the 2nd task, and vhen I vent out to jog this morning, Aubrey vas not there! i vas very nervous, and vas all jittery inside.
In the Great Hall, I stopped Hermione for a second.
"Vhere's Aubrey??' Iwhispered nervously.
"i seriously don't know. No one has seen her since yesterday when she was pulled out ofclass" hermione replied " goodluck though"
"Thanks hermione" I replied and left to to goget ready.
Finally, the second taskvas about to start, and aubreyvas STILL notthere. I fiddled vith my ring, our promise ring.
Then, the task started and Idived into the water with the potion, and hurried off under the water through the meremaids.
Then, I saw aubrey. she vas lifeless, but beautiful nonetheless. Iswam as fast as I could and got her out . Vhen ve reached the surface, sheawoke, and coughed out thevater.
I carried her backin my arms to the dock, and quickly got a towel for her.
"I love you Viktor" she whispered into my ear as we sat on the dock near eachother.
"I love you more" I replied andheld her hand underneath the towels. I fiddled with herring a little.
Luckily no one saw us because everyonevas so focused on Potter and him getting two of thepeople instead ofjust his own.
"I have got to go, but ivill see you soon" I said to her as I got up andvent to see my headmaster.
She nodded, and left to go see how the othersvere.
