[Star 5] Wishes [Hiroto; alice nine.]

Once the limo pulled to a stop, Mayuki and I rushed out of the vehicle and into the large home. The crystal chandeliers and high ceilings were overwhelming. Endless hallways and rooms as far as the eye could see. Tables fit for kings and queens were neatly made, ready for a meal. Dimmed lights created a fancy mood and it looked perfect against the simple yet elegant walls and the shining tiles underneath us.

“Wow~” Mayuki and I were amazed at how big the house really was. It looked large from the outside, but it looked even bigger on the inside. I’ve never heard of alice nine., and they said they were a band so I guess that they were pretty damn popular to afford this mansion.

“I’m starved~” The man named Nao cried. Bahh! He was so adorable! You just want to cuddle him and give him bucket loads of candy even though it would give him countless toothaches. He was so innocent. He was like a child! Except he was extremely good-looking!

“Awwweh. Poor Nao-san!” Mayuki gasped and ran over to snuggle Nao. By the look on his face and the way he hugged her back, I could tell he enjoyed the attention she was giving him. “Want Karin-chan and I to make you all something to eat? I mean, I feel kind of bad that we attracted so much attention. You all must be starved!” She was always sorry for causing others trouble.

“What?! Mayuki-chan! You know I can’t cook!” I whined. I wasn’t very good at cooking. I was an absolute klutz and I would probably make a mess. I bet I wouldn’t be able to walk across the kitchen holding two eggs without dropping them and letting their runny yellow yolks fall on the floor with their crushed white shells. “Mayuki-chan, come on!” I whined again attempting to make her change her mind.

“Ahhhh Karin-chan~ It’s okay. Let’s go find the kitchen.” Mayuki ran over to me and pulled my arm. We entered a random hallway in hopes of finding a kitchen somewhere in this large home. “These hallways are so confusing…” Mayuki said quietly. We saw another hallway and entered it. The hallways just lead to more and more hallways. And to make things worse, they looked all the same! I bet we were wandering for four hours before someone jumped in front of us. It caught me off guard so I screamed as loud as I possibly could; Mayuki just jumped.

“BOO!” Hiroto jumped out of nowhere with his hands up in a bear-looking fashion. I swear to god that I’ll get him back ten times worse for scaring me. “Ahaha! I scared you!” He talked in that oh so famous ‘oh-my-god-I’m-a-freaking-king-because-I-scared-you’ voice. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a room leaving Mayuki in the hall. It was a bedroom. Hiroto walked over to a dresser and pulled out random articles of clothing, throwing them at me. I caught them skillfully. “Put that on.” He pointed to the clothing in my hands.

“What? Why?!” I was so confused. All he gave me was an oversized shirt and a pair of shorts.

“Unless you feel like sleeping in your dress, I would suggest you change. The bathroom is over there.” He spoke casually while jumping on the bed and pointing to a door on the right.

“Does that mean I don’t have to cook?!” I said happily with a smile on my face. If he’s making me sleep, that means I don’t have to cook! But wait! That meant poor Nao was going to starve! “Isn’t Nao going to starve?!” I rushed for the door that lead back to all the hallways but Hiroto’s answer made me stop.

“No, he’s a grown man, don’t you think he can cook for himself?” Hiroto turned on the television and flipped through the channels. After not finding an interesting channel, he turned it off and jumped off the bed. He walked towards me and grabbed my shoulders, walking me to the bathroom. “So don’t worry about it! Mayuki could probably cook for Nao.” Hiroto smiled. I smiled in response and walked into the bathroom.

I looked at the mirror and sighed, what a day this has been. I took off my dress and folded it neatly. I placed it on the counter before putting on the large shirt and shorts. I smiled. It felt good to be in regular clothing again.

--Mayuki’s P.O.V—

Oh dear god. Oh dear god. Oh dear god. Karin-chan has just been abducted by a crazy rock star maniac and I’ve been left to look for the kitchen myself. I hesitated whether to keep looking or not. What was that one saying again? Something about ‘If you’re lost and don’t know where you’re going, just sit still so you don’t get even more lost’? Ah, who cares anymore?! It’s not like I’m in the forest where there are giant, blood-thirsty bears. So I just kept wandering the hallways.

“La la la la~” I sang to myself quietly. My mother always told me that people usually sing to themselves when they’re nervous or scared. I wandered for what felt like 3 more hours before finding Tora and Saga. I ran into the room with a smile on my face.

“Hello, Mayuki. Where have you been?” Tora asked.

“Well, I’ve been going through all these hallways and whatnot with Karin-chan for a while,” I sighed. “but, she got abducted by Hiroto-san soon enough.” I walked over to Tora and sat next to him on the couch. “What have you two been doing?” I asked, trying to make conversation.

“Well, Tora has been reading his BMX magazines and I’ve been surfing the television.” Saga said. He pressed the power button on the remote and the giant screen flicked off to nothing. “There’s nothing good on.” He sighed and placed a hand on his head which was shaking disapprovingly.

“I have an idea! How about you two give me a tour of the house?” I smiled when they nodded their heads.

--BACK TO KARIN’S P.O.V.—

“Okay, I’m finished.” I walked out of the bathroom and placed my dress on top of the dresser. I yawned. “Where am I sleeping anyways?” I asked the already changed Hiroto. I’m guessing he was changing while I was changing in the bathroom.

“You’re sleeping right here, silly!” He patted the large space next to him. Oh. My. God. No.

“If you think I’m sleeping there, you have lost your mind.” I said ready to slap him right across the face.

“Well, now that we’re a ‘soon-to-be-married couple’,” He made air quotes with his fingers. “Don’t you think we should act like one?” He smirked and I just sighed heavily. Could this day get any worse?

“Fine, but if you touch me at all, I’m going to push you off the bed and make you sleep on the floor.” I smiled at the thought and hopped onto the large, soft mattress. I crawled underneath the thick warm blankets and then something finally popped into my head: I can’t sleep without cuddling something. Oh hell no! I’m not going to cuddle- OH NO! NO! NO! NO! I wanted to scream so badly. But Karin is a problem solver, right?! I can get through this, right?! AH HA! I grabbed Hiroto’s pillow and snuggled into it with a smile on my face.

“Hey!” Hiroto whined and made a pouty face. I have to admit that it was cute but I wasn’t going to give into him. He already caused me enough trouble. “If you wanted to cuddle something, I’m all-“

“No.” I cut him off. He just sighed and whined some more. After he finally realized that he wasn’t going to get his pillow back any time soon, he got up to get his own. He turned off the lights and crawled back into bed.

“Goodnight~” Hiroto said.

“Goodnight.” I smiled and closed my eyes.
