Wow. So for those who read my story... It's been a while eh? Sorry 'bout that. Anyways I'm getting this one out after a long wait and I prob won't get another one out for a while since i'm going places. You know, I got people to see, places to go, things to do...Haha anyways...enjoy...?Chapter 8: A Different Side Of Aidan
The garbage pick-up was frickin’ disgusting. Not only did Trent want me to clean up all the crap from the party but all the other stuff that was blown into their trees also. For example, big huge, wet plastic that came from a new house being built. Or a pair of stained boxers. It was nasty. But, there were two other people that worked there. One was a thirteen-year-old girl who’s been working at the ranch for a few months. All she did was whine and complain. The other worker was a guy around the age of twenty who had long blonde hair and whenever you spoke to him all he said was ‘yes’ or ‘no’ even if you didn’t ask a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question.
O well, money is money, right? Anyways, when that was over, around seven-thirty, Aidan’s mom asked us all for dinner. The thirteen-year-old, named Alanna, said no, but the greasy blonde kid, named Joel, said yes. So did I. She made pork chops, fresh vegetables, and Kraft Dinner. I loved it. All of us at the table, which included me, Joel, Aidan and his mom and dad, practically devoured the whole meal. Man, do I love me some K.D. However, the happy time didn’t stay that way for long.
I was just chatting away with Aidan, until we started talking about the horse Trent found yesterday. By this time Joel was gone. Trent heard us talking about it and joined in. Except he was mad. He started yelling like crazy at Aidan.
I had no idea what to do. The only thing I could do was stare at them with my mouth hanging open like my jaw was broken. When I finally got up to help Mrs. Cartier clean up the table she urged me to head home before the argument got too bad. I did as she told. I started to think about how terrifying Aidan was when he was angry, his father also. It was like two giant bombs just exploded unexpectedly.
I was just about to open my car door when I changed my mind. I walked behind the house to where I believed Aidan’s room to be. Conveniently, a ladder was hidden behind the bushes planted against the house. I guessed that Aidan used it for sneaking out. I thought that he probably would set up before he went to bed then used it when his parents were asleep. Anyways, I set the ladder on the wall and climbed up to the second story of the house straight to Aidan’s bedroom window.
Man, did I feel like Maxwell Smart at the moment.
I wish I could say that Aidan was just surprised to see me in his room knowing that I would never do something like that. However, his surprise quickly turned into his fury that he was still feeling over the fight with Trent.
“What are you still doing here Lara? You shouldn’t be here.” Aidan said through gritted teeth. His upper lip twitched and his hands were clenched into fists, trying to restrain him from doing something he didn’t want to do.
“I-I…know. But, it was just a quick decision that I made. I wanted to know if you were okay.” I said, shaking a little with fright.
Aidan shook his head. It looked like he was about to say something more but he didn’t. Instead he took three long strides to me and picked me up and practically slammed me back down on his desk that stood beside the window. He pushed his mouth harshly onto mine. His hands grabbed at my shirt, greedily wanting to pull it off. Great two shirt grabs in one weekend. I tried to push his hands away, his grip was stronger. I kept my elbows close to my body so he couldn’t move it past my belly. His lips moved to the side of my neck.
“What the hell are you doing!?” I almost screamed at him. His lips were back on mine again. His greedy paws still trying to get under my shirt. Eventually, when he realized I wasn’t letting him take it off, he groaned irritably. He pulled back and took off his own shirt revealing his nice body.
Great I get to see two delicious bodies this weekend. But I really wasn’t in the mood too.
Aidan kept going at me like he expected something, and then it clicked. This must be what Olivia was talking about. The ‘new experience’. That bitch.
I used all of my strength to get him off of me. It was difficult because he was like a rock with moving limbs. Eventually he did stumble backwards, a look of shock and realization on his face. I stared back. We both breathed heavily.
“What…the hell…was that?” I stammered out. I kept watching Aidan as he sat down on the edge of his bed. He bowed his head into his hands.
“I-I’m sorry. I just couldn’t…control myself. It’s just what I do I guess. When I’m angry.”
I leaned forward on the desk, my hands grabbing on the wood to keep myself on it.
“You can’t just be normal and take a walk? Or listen to music?” I paused. “Both would actually better for you, ya know? Do it at the exact same time. Like exercising and watching T.V.”
Aidan laughed, “You ramble a lot.”
My face went hot. “I know.”
Time passed slowly, silently, and awkwardly.
“Well, I think I’m gonna go.” I said disrupting the silence. I jumped off the desk and headed to the window. Aidan walked over and opened it up for me.
“Just thought I’d walk you to the…window.”
I chuckled. “Thanks,” I replied as I crawled through it. I climbed my way down on the ladder and I jumped the remaining five steps. A pain jolted into my feet making me crumble onto the grass. I let out I quick yelp of pain.
“Are you okay?” Aidan whispered loudly.
I got back up, “Yeah I just didn’t go through the balls of my feet. It’s all good.”
He laughed at me. “Alright then. Bye Lara.”
I walked away, limping slightly. I lifted my hand up to wave at him. When I looked up I noticed that he still wasn’t wearing a shirt…
