This idea came to me while I was listening to Les Miserables. Laura wasn't intended to be named or involved in the story at all, but I'm glad she was. If the disease mentioned is real, that's an odd coincidence. I just borrowed symptoms and skipped making up a name. A cookie to anyone who can figure out which character the cough is referencing. No, it isn't Izumi.
