It's been awhile since I've updated anything. So I updated! I have 2 chapters up as well as a oneshot. Now in case you haven't heard, I'll be in Europe for the next three weeks! No updates for a long long time, sorry everyone! I will try and update right away once I get back.

So I go to check messages, for lots of you have been asking for the password lately and I like to answer those right away... and guess what.... the site changed. I hate it, I really do.

All of my stuff is missing right now. Now, I do have actually 3 things up, but I have like 50 things, so I'm not really going to look at three as a positive. Now when I look at an actually chapter I am so mad! Nothing was converted well, and I'm not going to go back and fix it. It all looks like crap, what use to be in the results now is just at the end like it's part of the story. Also, the page dividers I used don't work because the html code is not transfered over. I am just so mad, my stories are all messed up.

Everything is perfect as my lazy butt can get on there. If you make an account, you can get email updates when I update and never miss a chapter. You can also leave reviews there! I love reviews!

But I will post crap here because I don't want to bail on those of you who don't want to read them on FP, because if I were a reader, I'd be crushed to lose one of the stories I read.

I've recently taken action to put all my stories on a bit of a lockdown, now requiring a password to gain access to it. Honestly, I was going to call Quizilla quits and stop using this account; but I couldn't do that to the people who truely love to read my stories. I'm still an active writer, FP has always been my favorite place to write.

My time on Quizilla has really started to dwindle down, I'm not even sure if it was that big to begin with. I use to hit the highest rated, but I honestly don't care anymore. My opinion of Quizilla has really turned sour over my time here. And I think it's because I've grown more mature, and less tollerable of all the crap that does fill the most popular list and highest rated list. Don't even tap into the forums, I started with them a bit when I was bored, and people are just horrid there.

There is also another bonus to having the password lock on everything, and that will be that the stories will be one step harder to steal. I've never had a problem with that, of which I'm happy.

And I am considering leaving my active story unlocked, so any new readers can look into past chapters, or anyone can brush back up on the last chapter's material. And again, the stories will be open to everyone for about 48 hours.

So if you do love reading and want to read my stories, all you simply have to do is PM for the password.

As many of you are probably aware, over the past few days a bug got into a lot of accounts, and some messaging systems were wiped out. At this point I do not have mine up and running, so if you are to write me a message, just say what you have to say in the ShoutBox found on my homepage. I plan on updating either tomorrow or Friday. Sorry again for the delay, I had about a two/three week vacation and it took me almost a full week to get caught up on work I missed from that, so the story got pushed back. It may be my pride and joy at the moment, but it is one of the last things to come on my to do list.

"I never thought that I would be here." I gasped in pain holding my head, trying to find my barings. What was up and what was down were two completely different things, yet they molded into one strong thing. Clawing at the pain in my chest, I knew that there was no way to take back what I had just done, to take back the death and sorrow, the blood shed and tears, and most of all, my love.


"You shall not eat of any tree of the garden," yet the serpant's hand extended the apple with temptation. "You won’t surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."


Before me in the barren wasteland of my past, laid the sole soul of one man. The large slab of cold gray stone chilled me to the bone, and I was afraid to even breath. Tears fell from my face freely, as my head tried to grasp the reality of the situation. My body was cold, I was standing in water, trembling. Closing my eyes, I tried to forget for one sole moment, one moment of peace. Was it so hard to want to escape from reality?


My eyes were tight with anticipation, hands stretched forward with hope. With the touch of his hair in my fingers, I somehow knew it would all end up okay.


So this time around everything will wrap up, I won't finish early for any writing contests or what not, I'm going to take my time and put in a lot of effort. There were some things that I need to clear up from last time around.
 -The time frame in Crave was only a matter of months. August to early November. I don't know how many messages I've gotten with people mentioning that, so I'd like to make it clear.
-People have also commented on the lack on emotion from Faye. I'm going to work on that.

Here it is, my little project I've been busy working on. With a few gals from Quizilla, we have built this site from the ground up, and today we are launching! We are CriticalCritics, here to help all writers. We offer basic help in grammer, as well as advice.

I am proud to say I finally got that new homepage up and running. This one is far more complex, with multiple pages. I hope you all like it. And I would like to show everyone the newest banner... this is up really late, sorry.



Now I must say, this is actually one of my more favorites. I love it. I never quite pictured Faye with blond hair, but the face suits her very well.

So check out the homepage, and I'm also working on a side project with a couple other people, and once that is up and running, I'll make sure to inform you all. This will probably give you the biggest chance for you to get me to read your stories, which I know many of you have asked. But I'm not spilling anything about the project until the site is up and running!

I believe it's just about 50 days now until Apple will be out for the world to see.

Wow, I must say... I actually got a lot of work done on Apple! YAY!

Oi! I've been so busy as of late! But I've finished finals, passed everything, though Calculus ended with a C. (What can I say? It's a tough class.) And now, let's get back into the swing of things! Time is for working!

And yeah yeah, most of you are probably wondering what's happening with Apple, who cares about the rest? Well not much is happening at this point. I haven't worked on what I've got done in forever. But as I mentioned before, finals are done and I'm hoping to get some work done!

As for another piece of news! Anyone check out the The Best Fu cking Writers (Winners). Guess who's number one? Go ahead gues... I'll wait while you check the list! Yep! That's me! I did the contest just for fun, told her I was already capable of getting on the HR list, so it didn't matter if she picked me! AND BAM! There I am, number one. I'm very happy! Hello new readers! To those of you now reading this and are new!

SKOW also will be opening voting soon! I believe Friday, but I'll have to double check! I'd love for everyone to vote! So I will post a new journal to remind you all again! But hey, I'm dreaming of a win!!!! But maybe read the others too, and vote for the one you think best. Maybe mine doesn't have the best creative plot to all! Let's go for honesty here!

Soon I hope to post an almost finished one shot piece as well. I'm working on the last touches, and hope to make it a small series of one shots, which in the end tie into each other. It's my something new to those who voted for such in my poll posted a bit back. BDH... well I'll try. I'm actually thinking of re-writing the whole thing from scratch. It really turned into something I hated.

And one final piece of news, rather sad. Today I found out my dog is dying, so I'm sure I'll probably be MIA when she does.... She has 6 -12 months, so I should be fine for awhile, but she's my best friend, and I don't think I will take losing her well. Just a few hours ago I managed to stop crying, but I'm sure I'll start again soon. It's very sappy, but I probably won't be writing much after that, at least for awhile. And so I feel like I should let you guys know, so that way you don't hate me when it does happen, because I love you all so much! Readers make the author, and I've got some of the best.

I've been nominated for a SKOW catagory. Voting has not yet opened, and I will tell you all when it does so you all can help Crave win! But I want to thanks for helping to nominate me! The only thing is, is that Crave is not complete and it is posted as such, so I better finish quick!

I'll try and get the last chapter out by Sunday, my birthday! A present for you guys... lol, on my birthday.

I like to think myself a very level headed gal. (Though we all have our moments of doubt, ignore the last journal post which I freaked in. It's the holidays, people aren't use to seeing me update... yadda yadda yadd. Sorry again, I was post PMSing to tell the truth, lol. Lame excuse, but the truth.)

I really hate the new turn Quizilla is taking, and even though I think changes are need for this site, I don't think I can stay with it once the switch is made. I respect their right to do what ever they wish to their comercially owned site. (Anyone else notice the new logos everywhere for the N?) I also like that they are trying to clean up the site. This is very nice, but I am not five years old. I need something that will suit my writing style, and I don't think Quizilla will suit those needs.

So as Quizilla prepares for changes of their own, I will prepare all my readers for a switch. I have created a Mibba account, which will eventually take place of my Quizilla for the most part. Fictionpress will always be my main account, which many people probably don't even know now. FP IS MY MAIN ACCOUNT. I usually post there first.

So when the old site is left to rot, I will take down all of my stories on this site. I will stay forever and ever, still answer messages and chat with friends and read their stories, but I will not post here.

Now there are some ups and downs to this change. An up is that everyone will get an email alert of my update (with FP. I think Mibba does this as well, but I can't say for certain since I only joined 24 hours ago.). So you can go on vacation, and miss a day and know I updated because you got an email! A down is that there is no HR list.

Now since this whole 'new' quizilla deal is still in beta, things can change, and maybe I will stay with my stories. But I will introduce you all to my other accounts now, but I will now be sure to update first on Quizilla, because I still love getting votes. On Quizilla, it's more like a popularity contest. lol.

15 votes so far... Maybe I sound mean, and very vain.... but seriously, was this because of the long update time? I try, I really do. It's been a busy month for me, I posted updates when I could, letting you all know I was working!

But seriously, I need at least 25 to get on the HR list. Usually we double that!

Maybe you all hate my story now, the last one really was horrible. I switched back and forth between Blaise and Faye too much. And adding his brother in was probably confusing!

It's just so... hurtful when my ratings drop so much.... And I don't usually get like this... but it feels as though I've done something wrong. I'm even working on the next chapter to update faster, but my spirit is dwindling fast.


Well straight from the editing room floor, with no editing, no spell check, is a preview for everyone who has remained with me, who still loves me.


The living room was empty when I finally made an apperane. I scowled, moving to the kitchen to grab a water. Walking past the window I caught a glimpse of blond hair, and noticed the large group of people conjugated outside my house. It was the theme park all over again. Samatha sat idily by as Blaise and Jake threw a football back and forth. Travis and his sister Natalie were awaiting departure on the hood of his van, while the others all talked in their own groups.


I shook my head, cathcing Blaise's eyes on me through the glass. My heart jumped, making me smile. That boy was something else, and I could hardly see why I had hated him so much from the start. I knew once we start bantering again, the reason will come back to me, but that reason seems to shrink away more and more as time comes to pass.


Stepping out the front door I let out a shriek as Blaise grabbed ahold of me. "Good morning sleeping beauty," he purred, shutting the front door himself. He appraised my dress with his eyes, letting his hands test the fabric. I grabbed his hands before they could roam where he wanted most. "I hear you love to visit the aquarium."


I pursed my lips, giving him a stern smile. "Not at eight in the morning."


"I'll let you sleep in the car," Blaise promised. We had a good few hours until we reached the destination. He pulled me away, passing the others without a car, and took me right to the car. "As much as I love your choice of apperal, aren't you going to be a bit cold darling?" He was grinnning from ear to ear, touching me constantly with his hands.


I shrugged my shoulders and climbed into the back seat of the van. "Allegra picked it out, so I don't have much choice in the matter. We'll be inside the whole time, so it doesn't even matter if I'm in a dress." I looked forward only to see the others pile in. It was although I had taken a trip back in time to summer, like none of the past weeks events had happened at all.




I hope you all still love me. It really does crush a girl when two thirds of her readers left. (Math stats were calculated in my head on the spot, probably better than I think... but 15 outta the usual 60, maybe that's worse)

Hello my dear readers! It's Alice here, and I'm happy to tell you all I'm still not dead. It seems like forever since my last update, and I'm happy to say that you all can be expecting Chapter 17 any day now! I've got 4000+ words done, and I'm going to probably finish with 5000+.

As for length, I have no idea how many more chapters of Crave there will be. There may only be one more, or two. I don't think I can make it to twenty, which was my original goal for this story. But I figure it's okay, because I did leave out some stuff on the cutting room floor, and I also merged several of my chapters from the chapter outline together, making it only four/five chapters shorted than planned.

The Banner Contest is still open!!! I will take any new submissions.They are all so good, I don't know which one to choose!

I would also like to inform you guys about SIRSRDR, or, Seriously, I Read Stories [that have] Radically Different Results, it is a project whose aim is to fill the Most Popular and Highest Rated lists of Quizilla with stories that are both well written and filled with positive role models and messages.

I will go into them more in the update of Ch17. I really like their message, and I hope the rest of you check them out and support them as well.

Another tid bit of information, I'm going to retire my fairy homepage layout soon. Expect to see a new one in the near future, although I haven't given much thought as to what I'm going to do with it.

This is so everyone can see everyone else's banner. And also it helps me keep track of them all. I'll edit this and add more as I get more. I probably won't close the contest until right before I start Apple.

By the way, as much as I like all the banners, I'm getting tired of all the apples! lol. Stick with it if you want, but I wouldn't mind seeing something without them!

That's right! A banner contest! Flood the floor with bribes, trechory, and no good back stabbing!!!!! I take money! I'm kidding, mostly....

I'm sure my faithful readers know what I'm now talking about, the ones who went to the results. Those of you who have figured out I rarely put any of Crave into the results, exception for the occasional sneak peak, never go there.

So I will tell you all again.

In honor of the sequel to Crave, I will be holding a banner contest. Send all entries to me via Quizila messaging, no limit to the number you can submit. If you have sent me a chain letter or something of the like, that means you have been ignored and I will not be accepting your entires. You can send them, but I won't recieve them.

The sequel will be titled Apple. The title came to me in English one day, a biblical referance. Bet you can't guess what!!!! Well even if you could, I'm going to spill anyway. It is from Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden. Faye is the Apple. And I won't tell anymore unless I feel I can trust you with such valuable information! hehehe.

So what will you win? This is a contest after all! The winner will get to suggest one scene they want in the sequel, as long as it doesn't conflict with the plot. There will be restrictions, like a sex scene. I can build up to one, but I will cut out the dirty deeds. Or maybe you want to make Allister and Allegra hook up, not gonna happen. So what I probably will do is have the winner give me a few ideas, maybe five or six, and I'll tell them yes or no to them, and then they can pick one from there.

Hello friendly readers! Now many of you are probably wondering when the next chapter of Crave will be out, and I still don't know! lol. I'm writing it, but I thought I would put up this small note quickly, as to not offend anyone!

I have now decided that all chain letters sent to me will recieve the user an automatic ignore. I will no longer recieve messages from said user, and then hopefully I will stop getting chain letters. It's my policy, no I won't be changing it. In the past I've just deleted them, but I do get tired of them! No more petitions either. Those are basically the same thing!

And I'm sure most people feel the same way when they get chain letters of the sort, they are annoying and I don't want them!

I don't know how many people read these, but these updates are just to keep everyone informed on my progress, so that everyone knows what's going on.


As of right now, I have not gotten a lick of work done. Two paragrapshs is all I've typed, and I don't think I'll be able to get a lot done anytime soon. My week days are filled with homework and school, my weekends with friends, and hopefully soon a boyfriend. But I'm going to try and get some done soon! Thanksgiving is coming up, and this week we have two days off of school! So maybe then I'll work.


Again, these updates are only to update those of you who wish to know about my works in progress.

No, this isn't about Crave, which I'm now almost to 1000 words on!!!

Actually, this is about the C-Box situtation. I've fixed the imposter problem by getting rid of the C-Box! Now don't get mad, just keep reading! Although I do love the cbox, it was just getting too out of hand... which is why I'm now using Freeweb's Shoutbox. With this, I'm allowed to post as alicebblack! My post will always have a black and white pitcure with red lips, and I will inform you all if I change it. Any member of Freewebs can post using their freewebs account. I'm sorry, but all old messages were lost.

Well tons of people have been asking me when the next chapter of Crave is going to be out, so I figured I'd try the journal while I was posting this. And like I said before, I can no longer put any messages in my C-Box involving important things, which includeds information about my stories. So when will it be out? Well I'm not sure but I'm hoping sometime this upcoming week. I know I was telling a few of you that I was aiming for this weekend, but that won't happen. I've typed about fifty words, and that's on the high side... I think I would have gotten it done if I wouldn't have played my stupid game either! lol. I'm addicted to Fiesta right now. It's a free game that you can download online, and is very addicting. I'm still afraid to talk to people on there because I'm such a newbie! I also wish I had enough work done to post a preview too, but like I said, under 50 words. And since I'm in a ranting mood, I'd like to thank everyone for putting up with all the crap in the C-Box. It just makes me upset that people think this person is me, because I like to think of myself as a nice person, and this person is not nice. Sorry again for the long updating process! I promise a chapter will be up before Halloween!!!
