The end of an Ed-era; do you laugh at cartoons anymore?
Oh my god I thought I would never see the day when a show that has been on television for as long as i can remember, ending!
As some of you may have heard, the cartoon show Ed Edd n' Eddy has come to a complete end, and I must say this...I feel incomplete! Sure I am not a fan of the show, but I remember back in the good old days-were innocence was our world-that I would watch that show every day, and whenever I would miss an episode I would cry....And when I saw the comercials for the end of this cartoon, I realized something.... That cartoon was from my era! And now....it is like that era is gone for good. No longer are the things in this world from when I was innocent here....They have all dissapeared.....
I guess the ending of this one show-which was a pointless-masterpiece-made me have a revilation....no longer are things innocent, no longer do I live in a perfict world where mommy and daddy are together and their-and my future-problems were not known, I can no longer can I think that everything is at peace and that my greatest worrie is whether my mom packed a snack in my lunch....and no longer can I look at a cartoon and laugh....actually LAUGH....
This television show was one that i use to look at and laugh my butt off, but after a while-as my innocence left me-i laughed less and less....and now I dont laugh anymore at any show....
Ed Edd n' Eddy was the last remaining thing from my innocence and now that I look at things....I doubt I will ever change channles when it comes on ever again-reruns or not-and I wish that my life was like the three Ed's, never worring about the problems of their parents, only worrying about JawBreakers and Quarters(which are hardly ever used any more) and just living......if only our lives could stay that way.....
~by the way the last episode was pretty good....*whispers*this is a small spoiler but....Double D beats up almost everyone in the show!
