Least favorite Naruto character?

I'm curious and I'd like to hear your thoughts. I've read a lot about people's least favorite characters (ex: Ino, Sakura, Hinata, Sasuke or Naruto himself) and that's all fine and dandy. However, I'd like you to explain why...you know, throw some reasons out there. It would be better if the reasons weren't vague, or if you provided some examples to your hatred. :B Hurhur. Well, thanks for your time!

HAY YEW. *points*

Kakashi.jpg
Since Quizilla's journal editors still aren't running like they used to, I wanted to get rid of the whiny post before. XD I don't know, sometimes I get worked up over the smallest things and it's just...weird. Damn teenage hormones. Anyway, I wanted to put this out there to people around here who deserve to know~ Even though Quizilla is still one of my favorite sites (because of a few authors on here who only post their work here), I have another fan fiction site that I write on. Lunaescence.com. Yush.

I, for one, think it is the awesome-est most spectaculariffic site EVER. Not only do they not have a "oh-God-kill-me-now" rating system (lol), but the authors there are a lot more understanding, encouraging, and just plain fun to be around. Most of the authors on Lunaescence are older than the population here on Quizilla. Plus, Lunaescence actually has rules that aren't outrageous. You can cuss, curse, have smut, death...all that good stuff. The only thing they ask for is good grammar, spelling, punctuation, word usage and the like. They don't accept the craptastic work that you see around here - no chatroom slang or anything.

I usually update there and then transfer stories over to Quizilla because I think I still have a few fans lurking around here...somewhere. o.O Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know of this awesome site because Quizilla has been getting pretty terrible lately. It's hard to know if the mods even care about this place anymore. Unfortunately, Lunaescence isn't letting anyone register right now because of some spam issues, but you can still read and review people's work anonymously. <3

If you'd like to find my name on there, it's SubtleQuirk. I have a Kakashi drabble booklet going right now, and it's a lot of fun, so you should check it out. :D

Goodbye my lovelies! Continue to read and write to your hearts' content~

*sigh*

I still can't believe that a year after my most recent journal post, this is STILL happening.

I'd like to take a moment to express my anger and irritation at the few people who still think it's cool to rate my creations low. It's extremely childish and annoying. I work on my creations to the best of my ability and I am writing at a standard that is higher than Quizilla's mainstream fanfiction writers. It's obvious to me that I don't deserve one star ratings. I know someone keeps clicking onto whatever I publish and rating it a four or a lower just to irk me, whether it's because they're jealous, have a vendetta against me personally, think it's amusing, or...I just don't know.

But really, guys. Look at my writing! I use correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, I keep people in character, I add romance AND action, I don't bash pairings and characters, my plots are believable enough...why do I keep getting ratings that are less than satisfactory? It really hits me hard when I see that because if you just take a look around on Quizilla, there are creations that are far worse that have more fans/positive ratings than my own. Some people don't even try and they get perfect ratings. I understand that maybe some of my work may not be to your liking, but just because you find a few errors or you don't necessarily enjoy the piece, you shouldn't take it out on me so harshly.

If you're going to rate less than a five, tell me WHY. I'd like to know. Instead of snickering and rating low just because you think it would be funny, please confront me personally about it. I'd like to understand why this keeps happening instead of coming across past creations and finding out about it when I think everything is okay. Quizilla is a very free, open place. You see things on here that can't even be considered real works because of how low the quality is.

I don't mean to sound condescending and douche-y, but I know I'm older than the majority of users here and it's obvious that my skills are above the kids who have just begun to write. Anyway, if you have a problem with me or my works, tell me instead of hiding behind the anonymous rating system. Thank you.

Rating Averages

I don't understand why I'm always so obsessive over ratings of all things. There are plenty of other things I could be concerned with...but I always tend to check my rating averages on everything I publish. I don't even care about the number of rates anymore. Lately I've been posting things and the averages aren't rounding off to five. (I know that may not seem like a big deal.) It honestly pisses me off, though. I work hard on my one shots and people go ahead and give them a big fat four while I'd rather have them message me and tell me what I can improve on so I can grow as a writer.

It also angers me when I see trash floating on Quizilla that have perfect scores. I've read some one shots that deserve fives but are given fours. Why? Who knows. Maybe it's just the Quizilla audience who are unable to look beyond something that isn't all romance, kissy-kissy lovey-dovey sh*t. I don't understand - I'm writing coherently and I try to keep everyone in character. I think that the plots are fairly good/believable and fives are justified. It's like as soon as I post something, someone just scans over it and rates it a four for no reason whatsoever.

If you're going to rate low, please don't. Instead, MESSAGE ME and let me know what I did wrong. I can't stand seeing people who have no experience or people who aren't even trying getting averages that surpass my own (or work from other fantastic writers).

Thanks,

devilsblackrose66/Monica

Regarding American Gangsters #28...

kid_Gaara.jpg

Unfortunately, if anyone is wondering where it's gone, Quizilla kindly contacted me and removed it from this sight. The little scene with Bakura was too sexually explicit for the many children wandering around this site. *rolls eyes* I'm not going to bother to repost it just because it would make the quizzes out of order and it would eventually be taken off again.Let's give abig round of applause to the person who reported it. I barely described ANYTHING but gave theinsinuation of a "rape" scene that was important to the rest of the story, and readers could have skipped it, but instead they have to take down all my hard work for one itsy bitsy little scene. If anyone really wants to read it, I'd be glad to send you the part in an email or something. Yep, that's all...

Summer...alas...

Oookay. SO let me get right down to business. I got out of school on June 6th and I've been LAZY. You heard me...LAZY! I've still got twenty billion one shots to do and that's why I haven't posted up any new stories lately. All you one shot contest participants out there...I'm SORRY! I'm on my hands and knees BEGGING for forgiveness! I have to kick myself in the so I can get working. My motivation to write isn't as great as planned...

As you all may have noticed, I've got two active stories. I'm thinking of getting rid of "Past Regrets" altogether because let's face it - there's no plot, little YYH theme, and it was a result of my boredom. I don't have the will to continue it. I was planning this summer to do a Kaiba and Bakura story, but then guess what happened? I got into Death Note. So I went on this manga-reading spree and I finished it. *sigh*

Then after Death Note ended I decided to read YYH manga online considering I've never actually finished it. I got so hooked that I decided I was going to make a new YYH fic. I'm really pissed at myself for making otherstorieswhere the characters were portrayed so badly, so this is what I'm gonna do: go strictly by the manga. A few people on here have attempted it, but only got so far as the Maze Castle incident. Nah, I'm gonna do the whole shebang, baby. Yusuke's death through everything else. x3

But before THAT project can begin, the precious one shots come first. I've got most planned out, but I just need to grit my teeth and do them. I've also got MHiaI and AG to work on with Leena over email, so...yeah. Plus I'm pretty behind so I need to study for my learner's permit considering next year I have to be at school at seven in the morning every day....

This was my rant. I hope you enjoyed it and let's all get together and wish that I will finish the one shots soon so I can get back on track with my YYH lust. ;]

New story!

Yo. I just wanted to put a little update here on the journal. Hmm, let's see. Well, school is letting out for me in June, which is a good thing. Apparently we only have about 26 days of real school left. During this summer, I'm going to be a writing machine. Currently I've got one shot contest prizes to hand out, so that's taking up some time. Sorry about that.

Oh yeah! For those of you who don't know, I'm posting stories again. (Random kid: lYkE oMg No WaY!!11!) Yes, well, there are actually two. I have my story "My Heart is an Idiot", which is Ranma 1/2 that I've been doing since I think February.

Recently I started to post one that I've been working on (with Leena, aka BlackVixen016) for about four months. It's called, "American Gangsters". It's an anime crossover with Yu Yu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Ranma 1/2. It's full of romance, comedy, and action. The descriptions for both stories are on my homepage!

I'd really appreciate it if you guys are interested in any of those three anime and are willing to read my story and give me some feedback. Seriously, I want to improve my skills. Though this story is somewhat old and obviously I've improved since then, it's nice to know what my old faithful fans think.

It's almost that time again! XD

Ah, the sweet smell of spring in the air. :3 But who cares about spring when you're turning 16 on the 24th?! XD Well, it's supposed to be a 'Sweet' Sixteen (does anyone even do that anymore?) but there is really nothing to do in my err, current location.

So I'm going to have a nice Japanese-style lunch, head over to the movie theaters, and just chill for my birthday. Damn, if I was still with Leena, you all know we'd be having another intense party....LOL.

I just wanted to ramble about my life because really, isn't that what these things are for? Thanks guys for your many wishes to me last year and hopefully most of you haven't forgotten about me. ;-;

Also, if you're a one-shot contestant, PLEASE let me know before the due date (or my birthday) if you need an extension. I'm going to be really irritated with you if you ask me for an extension the day it's due.

(Mah secret lovahs) (Yamis included, but I'm too lazy lol...)

Concerning my absence.

So, there was a death in my family. Those of you who read "L?NHoI!" and were on the mailing list were aware of this. Because the one we lost lived in Guam, my beloved little island, the funeral will be held there. I have to drop out of school for about two weeks and fly out there with my mom, dad, and brother.

At first it was just going to be my mom, but my family there begged that we come too. My aunt managed to buy us plane tickets. I'll be offline for these next two weeks since my plane flies out late Monday afternoon, so no writing until I get back...and even afterwards because I'll have to catch up on A LOT of schoolwork. >.< It sucks.

One-shot contest participants, you may ask questions or send me any one-shots you finish, though I won't be able to answer/read them while I'm gone.

Anyway, I'll try to get working on a new, 'Past Regrets' part, but right now I'm really stressed about school and the funeral. Sorry, and I'll see you guys in two weeks!

If I had a one-shot contest...

...how would you guys feel about it? I've seen a lot of people do them, and I thought it would be fun if I did my own. Judging and reading other people's work? Sweet! ^^; I would have to think of some nice prizes though...maybe a one-shot, a banner or something in return. Meh. Well, tell me what you guys think. Plzkthx.

October 24, 2007

Attention.

Okay, so I've been ignoring this issue for quite awhile and dismissed it as just a little thing, but by now, I have something to say. When every one of you rate - is it not a reflection on my writing? I go around and read stories that are trash because of grammatical errors, lack of plot, characters out of, well, character, and just no direction at all. I see that in these stories, their average ratings are five.

Five? I guess it makes sense if their readers don't mind it. However, when I publish a story, I use my full potential and try to make it as legible as possible. When you readers rate my stories a four and knock out the five average, is it on purpose? I shouldn't worry so much but I'm a perfectionist - it's what I do.

I surveyed my Kuwabara one-shot, and every close friend here on Quizilla, after they read it, I checked to see what they rated it. (After they told me they did.) And they rated it a five. Then is it just one or two people that feel the urge to rate me a four when I write to the best of my abilities? Does that seem fair to you?

If you're going to rate me low, then just don't do it. Message me and tell me how I can improve, just as xXKuramasOnlyLoveXx suggested in her journal. I don't have time to weep over rates after I've done my best and wonder why the hell they're low. Give me reasons, people. Plus, if you can't even write better yourself, then don't go and judge people on their writing. Thanks.

How do you know if you're gay?

I've been thinking a lot about this lately, and I was wondering about the whole 'sexual orientation' thing. I've spoken to a lot of my friends about the subject of being a homosexual, but what does it really mean to be gay? Not just lesbians, and gays, but...people who are like, bisexual.

Does being bisexual mean that you can see yourself dating (and possibly marrying) or being attracted to people of the same and opposite sex? One of my friends (who is still trying to figure out her own orientation) explained that girls can find other girls hot and still be straight.

If that's the case, then what would it take for someone to consider themselves a little crooked, so to speak? I know that straight girls can sometimes experiment with other girls and stay the way they are, but what if you're turned on by other girls but can't see yourself dating one?

Sorry if this may sound confusing. But I thought I'd like to ask you how you know if you're gay, lesbian, or bisexual. It'd be greatly appreciated if I could get a few views from not just the straight people here, but people of all orientation.

**Gay bashing will not be tolerated, as in, 'lyke omg gayz r sooooo grous!'

I am such a loser.

Oookay. So...most of you that actually talk to me on here now know that my delishush Lee-chan has gotten me addicted to Ranma 1/2. Awhile ago, she showed me the first season when she slept over...and I fell in love with it!

I quickly searched all over the Internet and found what I was looking for. A certain website, GoFish.com, has every single episode of Ranma 1/2 including the three movies, and the OAV's. I was ecstatic, and every day after school I would watch two or three episodes and get my fix.

However, soon, I finished all the movies, episodes, and OAV's. I was disappointed at first, but then realized, 'Hey! There's still the manga, right?' Even though I couldn't see the animation, or hear the voices, it was better than nothing.

I went to the library and began to check out Ranma 1/2 books...a bunch, actually. The first time, my mom went and got me like nine books. The second time, I got about ten, and I finished them all within one day. Just this Thursday, I went to the new library and checked out eleven more volumes, and finished them last night.

Unfortunately, it was from volume 23 to the end. I'm not sure if it was all volumes, but it was most of them. As soon as I got to the last volume (I read the summary online) I began to look forward to the ending. But when I finally got to the end...

I started crying.

I dunno. Call it crying relapse, or shock. I was just...so mortified and I was so embarrassed at my reaction. How could Rumiko Takahashi end the series so suddenly? (Well, not really suddenly, the manga's been going on for over a decade.) Now how would I get my fix? Sure, I could watch the entire anime series again, and perhaps read over the manga. But there's nothing new for me to look forward to.

I got really depressed last night, thinking about all the characters and comedy I would miss. I can always read Rumiko Takahashi's other work, but this one really came through to me.

I'm such an idiot.

AMV's.

For all of you out there that are bored (possibly out of your skulls) why don't you check out my account on Youtube? I only have three YYH amv's, sorry about that...but you guys should really check out the most recent two. They're fuckin' hilarious. :D I downloaded Fraps and I was able to capture live video...which was fine and all, but my computer was low on 'virtual memory' so I had to save the damned thing into two separate parts. Fuckmonkeys. Anyway, I'll probably be making more in the future, so enjoy. ^.^

No updates?

An explanation as to why my updates have become farther and farther apart:

1. School.
2. I'm lazy.
3. Writer's block.

Recently, right after school ended (June 18th), I had to get ready to move. My Internet was disconnected and as of today I just got it back after moving to a new state, new house, new town. Yay.

I'll get working as soon as I get Internet up in my room. (Shouldn't take too long.)
Until then, I apologize deeply for any of you who I left in the dark.

:'(

I just figured out something. One of my favorite authors on Quizilla, the girl that contributed to the beginning of my addiction to Hiei, who inspired me to write such random things in my stories is gone.

For those of you that don't know, JustSayGoodbye has cancelled her account on Quizilla. I just tried to access her pages and it says that her account is no longer online.

And that sucks.

I loved her stories, and I have been waiting for over a year for her to update just because I was hooked into her series.

I wish that so many good writers didn't just quit on this site. If you don't want to finish a series, either hand your account over to a good friend on Quizilla to finish it, or quickly get it over with for the fans. Please?

It's such a shame seeing all those fun stories going to waste. Ah...but the memories shall always be there. :]
