Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams! Purge the thoughts of the life you knew before! Close your eyes, and let your spirit soar! And you'll live as you've never lived before... ~The Phantom, Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera

Life is jut great sometimes. Gatas! (Cats!)
So here's what's been up with me lately.Numero uno: I got a message from someone on the site asking for permission to use my poem I'll Be There For You (When Our Worlds End) at her eighth grade graduation. I love the feeling of knowing that my poetry has had an impact on someone; it's just great. :)
Have any of you ever noticed that I use a lot of semi-colons? (This thing--> ; ) I love me my semi-colons -- no reason why, but I do.
Okay then, have you ever noticed that most of the names of my poems are really long? I don't know why I do that, but on the plus side, it makes it really easy to check if they've been plagiarized, which is good.
Numero dos: My English teacher looked at my poems over the weekend. She said that they were good, and wondered if I'd done anything about being published (which I've been asked a few times, actually) and told me that she'd keep me posted on if there were any poetry competitions I could enter.
Numero tres: Bon Jovi is coming on his tour to a town near where I live. The show is only a few days before my birthday, and I was thinking that some tickets would be an awesome birthday present (they would, right?!). Turns out that four of my friends (aka defyerOFdeath, lolgrl21, banditOFcuteness, and soccerchix17717) were going to try to surprise me with a ticket to the concert. They couldn't get it though, considering that tickets were sold out within half an hour. But it was a really nice thought. :)
Numero quatro: I don't know. It was just a good day.
Numero cinco: I'm gonna go write a poem.
Numero seis: I'm gonna hook myself up with some drum lessons for Christmas.
Numeo ocho: I can count in Spanish.
Numero nueve: i'm an optomistic person.
Numero dies: I felt like going to ten.
Numero once: We're about to see how far I can count. Doce, trece, quatorce, quince, dies y seis, dies y siete, dies y ocho, dies y nueve -- dang it! Oh wait! -- viente, viente y uno, viente y dos, and I think I got that right. I'm stopping. Bye! Lotorita! (Bingo!)
Yours truly,
DuskAndDestiny
