What would have happened in QSS!

If you are wondering how Que Sera, Sera would have ended, then this is the journal for you! xD This is how it goes:

We were going to read about Gavin some more and what happened to him. What did happen was his friend (Greg) and him got into a relationship. Slowly, because they're both friends and don't want to ruin it. But eventually they share their love for one another and become a couple, the whole shebang. But Greg ends up dying. Honestly, I didn't figure out a reason why, but he does. Here is one part that I actually got written:

"Water streamed down my face as I just stood there. Just stood, staring out into the sheets of rain pouring down. All of a sudden, I wasn't sure if it was water running down my cheeks, or if I was crying. I lifted my tongue gingerly to the side of my mouth and caught a falling drop. It was a tear. So there I stood, in the icy rain, crying like a child, just watching his coffin, just sitting in the dry church, waiting to be carried away by the grave bearers. Two great glass doors closed, leaving only a rippled reflection of the brown casket. And I thought, this is the last I'll see of him. Ever... And to be honest, that didn't help my crying at all."

So anyway, Gavin has a hard time accepting Greg's death, but he is no longer the self-conscious, keeps-to-himself, loner. Greg taught him to love himself and to love others and to forgive. Okay, so after Gavin heals, and accepts his friend's death, we go back to Caleb's POV. He goes to see Gavin and demands that Gavin tell him what's wrong. Gavin explains and Caleb is horrofied that he had such a horrible past. He starts to imagine what would have happened if Gavin went on like he was, and ended up killing himself. He realizes he would be devastated if he never met Gavin and comes to realize his love for the boy. Well, they get home and Caleb still hasn't told of his love.

A while later Gavin decides to help Caleb get back at Shaun. So they find his car and cover it with pancake batter. That's when Caleb kisses Gavin for the first time. (They've kissed already, but this is the first time CALEB did it). Um...let's see...then I don't really know. Caleb tells Gavin that he loves him (not that day, but later on). Then a little later, someone makes a crack about Caleb having a brother. I didn't really figure out this part... So Caleb goes beserk and we find out he used to have a brother who had killed himself. Thats why he had those flashbacks. Anyway, the reason he committed suicide was because his father gave him crap all the time. Kind of like Gavin only not about business. Nothing he ever did was enough. But his father was so devastated by his son's death that he pushed it out of his mind. Greif comes in different ways and his way was to forget it happened. He just told himself he never had a second son so many times that eventually he beleived it.

Okay, so anyway, he tells Gavin about his brother after awhile, and Gavin comforts him. They kiss and thats when Caleb's parents walk in. Now, as if Caleb didn't have enough crap to deal with, now his parents are extremely angry about his being gay and having an affair with a transfer student. Enraged, they make him leave Gavin and ship him off to boarding school. Saddened, but forced to obey, Caleb complies. But when he reaches the boarding school, all disheartened, his roomate turns out to be none other then...Gavin! Gavin got his Dad to send him to the same boarding school. Well, there's this whole mushy reunion, and Caleb asks what will happen from then on, because they can't be sneaking around forever. Gavin replies, "For now, we have a whole year with eachother, no parents, no critisizing peers. Que sera, sera, what will be, will be."

Well, there you have it! What would have happened! xD I hope you liked the ending. Of course, it would have been longer and with more twists and turns. Oh yeah! And Takeshi ends up falling in love with Cohle. Cohle finds a job near Takeshi, and after finishing highschool, the two prolly move in together. ^^ Takeshi and Caleb stay in touch, although they don't go to school together.
