A) Where'd the old Quizilla go? and B) Sibel's gonna get MARRIED
So i've been MIA for a while.... okay for over a year, but still. This site is not the same Quizilla.com i know and love.Maybe i'm getting too old for this site. The stories on Most Popular? I have never seen so many arranged marriage stories. And come on guys. Falling in love with the guy who kidnapped you, or falling in love with your enemy is sooooooo cliche. I will admit to writing a story with that love-hate thing, but i'm not entirely proud of it, lol. Besides, i only did a Pete Wentz story because it was requested by dozens of people, who i loved dearly for being so devoted to me. I hate Pete Wentz.
But, i digress.
I'm not quite sure how to say this, but i think i've lost my ability to write stories. I think all of my months of panic and stress in my old college as an english major really fucked me up. I want it back so badly. :(
Anyway, I apologize profusely for my lack of attention to my stories and to all of my readers, but i have so so so much good news! I'm graduating with an assosiates in Graphic Design - with honors! I have a new puppy named Gizmo (shih-tzu). And (drumroll please)... i'm engaged. Can you believe that?
I'm engaged to a wonderful, amazing, smart, funny, caring, british risk-analyst named Demir, who travelled 3500 miles just to meet me back in november, after speaking to me online for a couple of months. Seriously girls, if you ever meet someone like him, you'd fall head over heels in less than a week. He met my parents and grandparents (at the same time, which was pretty rough indeed), asked their permission to date me, endured the 1000 question interrogation, and after a month or two of long distance dating, he asked me to marry him. He'd been flying back and forth from London to NY every month, and now i'm doing that too. I'm actually in London right this second, haha.
I love him, my family loves him, and i have so much to look forward to in life now. The future looks very bright indeed.
