Great day! Great day!
*sighs and remembers*

I have only been to three concerts in my life. The first one was when I was in the second grade (I think.) and I saw ZZ-Top at the State Fair. I don't really remember this concert. Basically, All I remember is that it was a night, cold, and they were far away. Oh and they played the songs "Legs" and "Sharp Dressed Man." :3

Now, onto the next concert I've been too. June 24, 2006. Michael Buble. ^.^ Love Michael (second favorite band/singer … whatever he is). Great concert! For his opening act it was a comedian. And he was a funny guy (funny guys makes good comedians). The concert was amazing! It took your breath away. The light work was indescribable. Oh, and I saw him up close! Like … 10 - 15 feet away from me! See, we were sitting in the top bowl (in other words, we were far away and he looked like an ant on stage *sighs*) Anyway, he ran though the crowd and my mom told me (yes, I went to each of these concerts with my parents. I love them so much!) she told me that "I shouldn't get my hopes up, he wasn't going to come all the way up here." Well, he did! ^.^ It was great! So, he had a great concert. And if you ever want to see basically the same thing I did, watch the DVD of his "Caught In The Act", same songs, same order. Different Jokes, and no duet. Oh and his impression was different. He did Johnny Cash. XD (he was great at it) and then he did Michael Jackson XDD (Now, this impression was perfect! XD). And he sang the first half of "Sway" in French. ^.^ Good Concert. Very Good.

Then on July 18, 2006 I got to see my third concert. Goo Goo Dolls! If you think I love Michael, then this is beyond Love. Sorta obsessed. *nods head* Yeah. Obsessed. Best Concert Ever! XDD Oh! Man, it was in a place with standing room only. So, before the concert started, we were all standing in a crowd before the stage, talking. My parents wanted to go sit somewhere. So, they left me. I was pretty far back, and luckily, I didn't get any tall people in front of me (and believe me, there were some pretty tall people there). So, their opening band was Carbon Leaf. Remember that name, I'm sure that someday these guys will be famous. They rocked! And they sweated! As did us all! XD I don't think that I've ever been that hot before. I was soaked. Like, unbelievably soaked. When we went outside that night after the concert into the about 95 degree weather … well, the outside felt like air conditioning compared to inside. I mean, when the lead singer of Carbon Leaf was up there, sweat was dripping off his elbows, and when he held his arms out … it dripped like a waterfall. Anyway, I liked them a lot and my mom did as well. She bought one of their cds and then got the lead singer to sing it! Very Sweet. On with the story! *Does a little charging movement with the horn and the charging … you know? o.0* The Goo Goo Dolls came out! Both John and Robby were sporting blue bandanas. Mike wasn't though, he was wearing a white shirt though. John had a black tee on (that's not predicable XD) and Robby also had a black shirt on. (Michael had worn a tux. Also, not predictable XD). So, they start playing! We're all jumping, singing along and all that jazz when I notice that I can move closer to the stage. And so I do. Oh, look, John got a water gun! He's going to spray us! T^T The water didn't reach me. We were all hot and I'm sure the jumping around didn't help any. XD I noticed that the people in the front were getting misted (let me explain this. About two or three of the security people had little like … misters and the mist didn't get very far. Got it? Good. On with the story) . So the concert went on, and I got closer and closer. Soon when John got out his water gun, it hit me. :3 Still jumping and singing. Great fun. Oh, now I'm even closer. I'm Getting Misted! XDD I am within 6 feet of the Goo Goo Dolls! And they had a great encore. Best Concert Ever! Can you guess which concert is my favorite? *laughs*

And here, get an Idea on how hot The Goo Goo Dolls Concert was from Robby's (the bassist and a vocal) of the band ...

steamed, baked and Michigan bound

hot night in demoines. . . . . . we played in iowa last night. . . . . .it was hot outside. . . and it was also125 degrees farenheit inside the venue. . . . .i'm not kidding. . . .

without a doubt the absolute hottest gig i have ever been involved in . . . .a few thousand people jammed to the rafters and milling about in a puddle that can only be described as a combination of beer, sweat and pure love . . . . i commend that audience on their patience and their apparently unshakable desire to rock. . . . . .kudos. . . . . . ..

it was unreal. . . nearly inspiring. . . . almost killed us as well as few of the crew. . . . but after some EMT attention, numerous bags of ice, a few gallons of gatorade and a nites sleep we seem no more worse for wear. . .

either way. . . . .a day off today. . . . . . .

so i get to lay around all day and debate w/ myself about GWB using his first veto of his (2 term) presidential career TO THWART FEDERAL FUNDING OF STEMCELL RESEARCH . . . . .(speechless). . . .where do i start ? . . . . . .

ok. . . . . .

as i said a day off. . . . . . . .in Michigan. . . . .

and after our steaming hot event in iowa. . . . . .i think we need it. . . . .
