Jamie Lynn Spears (not bashing her)
Well, hopefully Jamie Lynn has learned from her sister's mistakes and is a more responsible and devoted parent. A 16-year old can be a good mother, just like women in their 20's, 30's, even 40's, she's just gonna have to change her lifestyle in order to raise the baby. Honestly, teenagers get pregnant everyday, and although I can see why a 16-year old celebrity getting pregnant would cause a stir, I think it's stupid to call her a bad role model. Okay, so we kinda can't look to her as a poster child for chastity until marriage, but at least she’s keeping the baby and not getting an abortion or something. Nickelodeon, yes, is a family-friendly network, but it should acknowledge the fact that teenage pregnancy is out there, but it doesn’t mean that the teen parents are irresponsible party animals. Hell, is Disney is gonna keep Vanessa Hudgens after her nude-picture scandal then Nickelodeon should keep Jamie Lynn. If they don’t, well, work for Disney sweetie, they’ll take ya. The response to this has been ridiculous. Teen mothers are already going through crap just for the fact they got pregnant young, the last thing they need is for people that don’t even know them saying how stupid and irresponsible they are. I’ve read parents saying “My child won’t be watching Zoey 101 ever again!” and I’m like “What’s your damage, lady? Shut your trap.” Jamie Lynn needs support from her close ones and fans, so I hope she’s getting that. I’ve never been a fan, but I do hope everything works out for her and, especially, her baby.Daily Horoscope
