And now, I give you flaws

So, I found this in a fellow members journal. It was titled "13 reasons why gay marriage is wrong". The italics are what the other member wrotw, the bold is what I have to say about it. Ok?

13. Gay marriage will ruin the foundation of our society.
Really? As if crime and divorce and cheaters haven't done that enough. Yes, lets blame the gays for everything that could possibly go wrong on the planet. Oh look, the stock market crashed, must be because david and steve got married.

12. Children can never succeed without male abd female role models at home.
Aw, of course. So, what happens to families that get divorces. Or rape victums that were forced to have the baby? Do they not work either? Are those unsuccessful children?

11. Gay marriage is not approved by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion is imposed on the entire country. That's why we only have one religion in America.
Oh please, even straight people find something wrong with this. There are tons of religions in every country. Christianity, Catholocism, Mormonism, Judism, Buddism, and everything else. And, most religions frown apon many things.

10. Obviously gay parents will only raise gay children, sine straight parents only raise straight children.
We are born with our sexuality. And, also I am gay and I come from two straight parents. This doesn't make since. If it was true, then ther would be no gays.

9. Straight marriages are valid becuase they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because the world needs more children.
The world is over populated, we don't need anymore children.

8. Gay marriage should be decided by the people, not the government.
It is decided by the people, its called voting. That's why in California it has been banned. But, this is irrelevant on why it is wrong. In a way, this point actually suports it.

7. Straight marriage will be less meaningful.
No it won't, if you look at it, it will have more meaning. Dee dee dee.

6. Civil unions are better.
Though, to some they don't mean as much as marriage. Its just a stupid thing the government made up so they could seperate us from the rest of society.

5. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is illegal.
I have one word for this point, CRAP. Only ignorant bigots think this.

4. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kind of crazy behavior.
Um, gay marriage was already legal. And when it was legal nothing "crazy" took place, just people in love coming together. Once again, only bigots think this.

3. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.
I have said this before, you are born with your sexuality. You do not choose it. Ok?

2. Being gay is not natural.
Oh really? And homphobia, racism, and other forms of disgrimination is?

1. Meteors and volcanoes.
Oh yes, becuase we all know that being gay causes natural disasters.

If you really believe the points in italics you're ignorant and I think you need to grow up. I gladly welcome everyone the comment this or message me. I'd love to hear what you have to say.
