A Random Piece of Writing
Haruko was devistated, her body trembling and her eyes closed against the awful nightmare she had just experienced. She tried to hold herself back from crying, clutching to Valius as her support, no longer ashamed of her nakedness or fear.It had been her sister, the girl she had been raised with, the one she always went to with all of her troubles and cares, knowing she would always steer her right. That monster had been her, possessed by something to make her undeniably wicked, forcing her to do all those terrible things, making her break the quiet innocence the two girls had had.
"Haruko..." Valius's voice was barely above a whisper, attempting to hold back his own all-consuming sadness. "This is all my fault...I should have found some way to stop her..."
"Shut up..." Haruko buried her face further into his exposed chest, curled around him. "Just shut up..."
He wrapped his arms around her, tighter, trying to hold back the wave of apologies beggin to spill forth. He knew full well that there was nothing he could have done, any alternative would have ended in unspeakable pain. The only thing he could have done was kill Kirika, but then...
Haruko began to sob, remembering her torment. If he had killed Haruko's precious older sister, she would enver forgive him. It was that simple. Despite everything she had put her through, Haruko still loved her sister and wanted nothing more than for her to come back to herself.
"I don't know what you want me to do, Haruko...Kirika...Kirika is no longer herself..." He tried to see her face, to gauge her reaction, but her face was covered by her bangs, tears slipping down her cheeks. "She needs...to die..."
"NO!" Haruko pulled away then, turning from him, screaming. "I DON'T CARE WHAT SHE'S DONE! SHE'S STILL MY BIG SISTER!"
"Haruko..." Valius tried to keep his voice even, tried to sound like the voice of reason. "She...raped you..."
The girl's fingernails began to dig into the soft dirt of the clearing, trying to hold her resolve against the odds. "It wasn't her fault...it wasn't her fault...Nataku...he did this to her, didn't he...?"
"...yes."
"Then consider him to be the one who did it, not her...don't blame Kirika for that..." Her voice shook terribly, reliving her only friend's gruesome betrayal. "She didn't do that..."
