About Me
I'm nice, I'm sweet, I'm funky and I'm Chic- and no matter how diusgustingly inaccurate some of that may be, it sounds like a cheer put together and that means it rhymes. If it rhymes, it's cool in my books.

Latest Journal Entry
May 1, 2008
I'd Pick More Daisies.
So, I'm doing an advanced English program at my school, and we're plowing through everything at the speed of lightning, I swear. I know I never really make journals of my own works, but I try and post things that really stick out to me and change my perspective. Thus far, we've been focusing a lot on the transitions in life. The change from a child to a teen, a teen to an adult and an adult to a senior. There's been journals and poetry- and this one is one of a solem few that really stuck out to me. I'd Pick More Daisies
If I had my life to live over,
I'd try to make more mistakes next time.
I would relax. I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have on this trip.
I would be crazier. I would be less hygienic.
I would take more chances, I would take more trips.
I would climb more mountains, swim more rivers,
and watch more sunsets.
I would burn more gasoline. I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would have more actual troubles and fewer imaginary ones.
You see, I am one of those people who lives
prophylactically and sensibly and sanely,
hour after hour, day after day.
Oh, I have had my moments
And if I had it to do over again, I'd have more of them.
In fact, I'd try to have nothing else.
Just moments,one after another.
Instead of living so many years ahead each day.
I have been one of those people who never go anywhere
without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a gargle, a
raincoat, and a parachute.
If I had to do it over again, I would go places and do things.
I'd travel lighter than I have.
If I had my life to live over, I would start barefooted
earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.
I would play hooky more. I wouldn't make such good grades
except by accident.
I would ride on merry-go-rounds.
I'd pick more daisies!

Either you love it, or it sounds like a bunch of regrets tossed onto a piece of paper? Which is exacltly what it is, but in an amazing sense because it is meant to help us all out and teach us all a lessson.
So as you can see, I feel in love with it the second I got to the end of the page, I thought it was beautiful and quite the powerful message.
I'm really starting to think that my perspective is changing, reading all of these inspirational works, but I wont go too in depth on that- all I want to say is that I learned just this morning that everyone needs to break out and speak up, be their own person-
