...in a crazy house (aka Asylum)? Please help!
I'm writing a story and I need to know what people think would be in an asylum aka crazy house. This is not a nice place, let me remind you. The kind I am writing about is a very abusive place. What else would be in there? I already have...screams and cries ring out as we walked down the halls. Moans and wails were lost in the uproar.
The stench of sewage, blood, vomit and a hint of burnt chili from the cafeteria blended to make me gag.
One man sat in his jail room soaked in his own vomit.
Many of the patients sat lifelessly in their cells staring blankly at the white walls. Others wandered their cells role playing and talking to themselves, pretending to be pirates, astronauts, and such. A few just sat there and laughed insanely
Iron-clad jail cells lined the walls on both sides. It reminded me of my time in jail, but this was more sterile, and somehow more terrifying. "
So...what else would be in an abusive asylum? I'm having a writer's block. @___@;;;
