The Critic is Back!

For anyone whom has tried to message me, I apologize.

Due to the remodeling of Quizilla I haven’t been able to log on to my account. (Thus no replying to review requests.)

It’s hard to recall just how long it’s been since I’ve worked on Quizilla… Three months?

Some things have changed and some haven’t.

First and foremost, I am still editing/reviewing by request.

Should you need my assistance, I ask that you communicate via email (zoathecritic@yahoo.com) as I’m only going to use this account as a way to keep track of authors I’m following.

Second, Mockingbird Prints is still up and running, but things have gotten a bit slow without people submitting entries.

Third, I shall not be publishing any of my new works to Quizilla.

(I’ll have a later journal giving links to my accounts on other sites.)

Wow… After all this time, I’m finally back on Quizilla.

…I’m not exactly thrilled about it, mind you, but something about this site wont let me go.

Yeah, corny much. On a side note, today is my 16th birthday. (I command you to at least think “Happy Birthday Zoa”.)

Critic for Hire: offering opinions and advice

To all that bothered to look at this, thank you.
I’ll get to the point.
 
I’ll be a critic. I’ll read any story or poem, poll or quiz and tell you exactly what I think of it.
I won’t tell half-truths; I’ll tell you the positive and the negative. All would be my opinions, but one voiced opinion, negative or positive, is worth a thousand silent readers.
 
Being a critic isn’t the only role I propose to play. I’m willing to give advice on story plots, sentence construction, character personality, anything I can.
 
Total package-
Insight: I will give you insight on your creations. I will tell you what I liked, why I liked it, and what could use some polishing.
This is my main role as people on Quizilla have an annoying habit of saying, “I loved your story/poem/quiz!” without telling why.
Inspiration: I will give advice when I can, weather you ask for it or not. I’ll read something, I write a possible scenario, then that scenario inspires you to find the story that’s sitting in your imagination. I’m basically a jumpstart on inspiration. (I sound like a muse.)
Possible problems:  I don’t know about some subjects. I can’t be an expert on everything, so sue me. But I do know a lot about Naruto & Kingdom Hearts (1 & 2). Even if I don’t know, I’ll try to help.
Recognition: If something about your work stands out to me, then I’ll ask to add you to my public list of Authors; by-your-leave only. This gives you a chance to be recognized for your work.
(Note that the Authors list will be alphabetical order only, so no one can be known as #1.)

No more lemons?!

Quizilla is taking down the lemons We all have noticed that "Quizilla!" has been blocking lemons, so if you write lemons, read lemons, or think people can write what they want, sign below pass it on by copying and pasting this into a journal. We only need 1000 signatures: if you're the 1, 000th, please forward the names to DepressedAngel1423 or blackroseofdarkness. If you're over the 1, 000th, send it again. The more the better!
