Hopes & Fears
Hey! This is Maggie, checking in for what may be one of the last times.I just saved all of the banners that people made me on my computer, and backed the files up. Then I deleted Summer Skies and Ocean Eyes off of Quizilla. I feel kind of bad for some reason, because there was always a sense of melancholy I got from looking back at other authors who disappeared off Quizzy.
BUT! I'm leaving up my other stories (that now make me cringe and laugh in right and wrong ways). The thing is that SS&OE has been changed and transformed into something much better, and it didn't feel right to have the original version still posted. My story has...matured, and if I ever would like to start sending it out to try and get a writing agent, I would have to delete it anyway. I did post the first chapter of my edited manuscript, so you guys can read that. I wanted to keep something of that story up on this site.
I know that no one probably checks this anymore, but I wanted to leave you with a couple links just in case people get curious. I didn't like it when other writers I liked off here just disappeared forever, so please, continue to keep tabs on me with these links.

I would just like to say thank you to anyone who encouraged me on this site. As crappy as I feel it is now, Quizilla really played a major part in helping me discover just how much I adored writing. I was looking through all the old usernames and I was overwhelmed with good memories, and I wonder what everyone else is doing now. Psh, it's only been about a year since I finished SS&OE, but still.
Anyway, you guys are fantastic. :)
