Drown the silence
If you came here for a heart wrenching story, you might as well leave because you not going to get one. At least, not this time. I'm listening to music trying to drown out the silence. Have any of you ever noticed how loud it really is? Pause for a moment, block out the voices from outside the room, the cars passing by, that little kid screaming next door. Just block every thing, every noise, out. And listen. Can you hear it ringing in your ears. Isn't it loud? Isn't it so freaking loud? That noise that’s so loud it makes your ears ring, the noise that’s so loud its unbearable. That’s what I'm trying to block out. Sometimes I don’t mind it, in fact sometimes I embrace it.
