"I'm no saint, just a sinner who took a wrong turn." - Samantha Donahue from "The Last Sunset" by flatliner345

Okay, today has been both delighting and catastrophic. My day started by being awoken by roommate in the late afternoon to be reminded that my tanning appointment was in an hour. (And YES I DO use a tan bed, and NO IT DOES NOT make me shallow or narcissistic. It means that I want a good even tan, and tanning in a tan bed relaxes me!) Needless to say I was pissed at them, seeing as I saw no reason to need to be reminded an hour in advance, 15 minutes would've sufficed. Never the less I rolled out of bed, ate a crescant (which turned out to be stale), drank some coffee, and went to my tanning appointment. Well, when I was at said tanning appointment, the owner made such a big deal about one certain bed (practically worshiped the thing) saying that it was the best bed EVER. Well, needless to say I had to see what so damn special about this bed. It was less than half of what my usual bed costs, so I figured why not? Well, as they say curiosity killed the cat, or should I say my skin? That's right the damn thing burned me. I've been going to this tan place for quite a while now and never once had I been burned. I may have gotten a little pink every once in a while, but that's natural. Of course, it probably didn't help that I went swimming afterwards. But while I was swimming I had on sunscreen, and no the sunscreen I use isn't one of those wimpy SPF 10 sunscreens. My sunscreen is a Waterproof, Ultra Sweatproof, UVA/UVB ray protecting sunscreen. And when it says waterproof, my friends, it MEANS it! I still have the damn stuff on my skin and it's been 10 hours since I put the shit on!! If you want this shit off you have to SCRUB it off!!! So YES it was the tan bed that did it. So suffice to say I WILL NOT be using that bed EVER again!!! Something good did happen though, I got to go to a carnival with my friend. I managed to win a little penguin toy!!=)We left soon, though, because the rides weren't that good.
All in all it's been an okay day. Well, I guess that's all for now. See ya!

Before you dive in and start changing everything, check with anyone who may be affected by your plans and get their opinion first. Once you make these changes, undoing them will be difficult and time-consuming.
Sometimes a little conflict is just what the universe ordered. It has a way of pushing the reset button on certain situation and people. So if things seem stifled and uncomfortable, throw the first punch.
Decisions are a bit harder than usual right now, but don't stress yourself out. You actually have way more time than you realize. And if the deadline passes, so what? Other (better) opportunities will definitely come your way.
