The Jerk
I just wanted to talk. I didn't want to argue, I didn't want to debate, I didn't want to fall into some useless fight that would only end up with one of us hanging up on the other. I just... wanted to talk. Isn't that what you do with friends? Can it be that simple? Not a pity fest, not some plan to guilt trip, but just a talk. To get it off your chest. To let someone hear you.But, I guess not.
Last night, I felt like I was going to explode with the way I felt. Today, I feel no different, except now I'm torn apart. I'm confused. I'm hurt.
And, most of all, I'm a jerk.
