How amazing...and how much it's changed!! AHHH!! IT'S AMAZING!!!

<soooo cute. Wow.
Wow wow wow wow.
I just got home from seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (that's the fourth film...if you didn't know...lol) and let me just tell you....wow.
Absolutely unbelievable!!!  I loved every minute of it.  It was funny, witty, and then there it was dark...which was good because we all probably were ready for it to become darker and more scarier for the older fans sake.  I'm really glad it was a PG-13 rating because then it probably sorta would lose it's appeal...because then that means that it's for the younger audiences too...I mean, people were worried that if they rated it a PG-13 rating that it'd lose it's appeal...no...not really.  Only to the 10 and under audiences...or maybe 8 and under but otherwise, it'll just attract more older people because they'll see PG-13 and think that it's not like the first two (which were both brilliant in their own way, but were nothing compared to this one.
I'm not going to give a lot away in case those of you who're reading this haven't seen it (WHICH I SUGGEST YOU DO!!) but I'll say a few things.  First, the beginning was really fast.  It seemed like they wanted to cram the first 10 chapters of the book into 10 minutes and then once they were on the train it was just like, "Okay, so we'll take it easy and go slower now that we're at Hogwarts."  Eh...i guess that was okay but I really wish they'd shown more of the Quidditch World Cup...seriously...that was an amazing scene in the book...but alas...it's a 735 page book and you can't fit everything in it...but they really did do a great job of trying to stay as true to the book as possible.
I remember going to see the first Harry Potter film back in 2001 on the first day at the matinee showing.  I was in fourth grade (now eighth) and I thought it was the coolest thing.  It was November 16 and I went to the 10:45 a.m. showing and got to skip school to go and see it...I was going to go for about 2 hours but we ended up having a fog delay so no go.  My teacher found out that I went and was upset but who cares about that.  Anyway, I remember going to see HPSS and you know the scene at the end when Harry's with Quirrel (he seems so old now...lol) and then Voldemort is like, "Let me speak to him." "Master you are too weak." "I'm strong enough for this..." blah blah blah and he takes off his turban and "O...MY...GOD...there's a fricken Voldemort face sticking out of the back of his head!!" Well...I remember closing my eyes for about five seconds because obviously I'd read the books and known it was going to happen but I wasn't sure as to how scary it'd be.  It wasn't after you got over the innitial shock of his ugly face.  But, I remember coming out of that theater completely awed by the whole movie and look at it now...there are four movies out and they're all complete masterpieces!  And I'd just read the fourth book about 2 months before I think and I remember thinking..."Wow...just wait until the fourth book and Voldemort actually comes back and you see his full fledged body...I wonder how that'll be."  Well, after four years of waiting...we finally see that scene and it was awesome...  I just remember thinking four years ago what that'll be like and it's so amazing the four years have gone by and we already have three more movies out and that time has come to see Voldemort rise again.
When Harry got to the graveyard scene I started playing with my purse because I knew that Cedric would die soon and then Wormtail would cut his hand off and Voldemort would come, touch Harry, and then duel.  But, I was most anxious for the scene where you finally saw what he really looked like.  All my popcorn was gone because my two other friends and I had already aten it all...lol...and I had to go to the bathroom really, really bad beacause I'd bought a large Cherry Coke and whatdaya know?  It was almost gone!!! AHHH!!! But, that scene was still so horrifyingly terrific that if this movie doesn't get some sort of Oscar nod (obviously not acting, I can truthfully say that even though all the actors have got soooo much better than the first, not that they were even bad in that one) for maybe Computer Animation or Makeup or Costume design...then i don't know what the world is coming to.
Well, it's been about exactly 24 hours since it's hit theaters here in Michigan and I've seen it, I've told you what I thought of it and now I'm going to bed.  I really hope you all get a chance to go and see it because I think these movies just keep getting better and better with each one.

p.s. for those of you who are anxiously awaiting the next part of my story...I'll be posting tomorrow (or...today it you think about it b/c it's 12:11 right now...lol)

It's almost here....

Right now, where I live in Michigan, it's 11:38.  There are approx. 22 min until Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hits theaters and becomes a multi-million dollar phenomenom once again...and it takes over the world....

Another update tomorrow...lol

It's so wrong to think these thoughts but...it doesn't hurt to look...right?

Hello eveyrone,
Wow....wow...wow...wow!!  Okay, so I just got back from swim practice and we have a new diving coach.  He was a senior in highschool last year and now he's our diving coach.  He is GORGEOUS!! I mean, he is SO HOT!! But it's SO WRONG! to think that because it's illegal...he's 18 or 19 and I'm almost 14...but...wow....I mean, we have no...I mean no cute guys or good looking guys or even good-bodied guys on our swim team (it's co-ed) and now he's our diving coach???!!!  He makes me wish I could dive...lol.  Anyway, he's a hottie and it doesn't hurt to look....

Oh yeah.  I just saw that trailer for the Walk the Line movie coming out about Johnny Cash's life with Reese Witherspoon and Jaquon Phoenix (sp?) and it's comes out on NOVEMEBER 18TH.  Does that ring a bell??  YEAH!! I thought so...it's the SAME FRICKEN DAY THAT HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE COMES OUT....which will be the MAJOR GROSSER OF THE YEAR (besides Star Wars.)  I mean COME ON!! Are these people crazy???  I think so!  I sure as hell wouldn't put out a movie the same day as a MAJOR MOTION PICTURE (AND I MEAN MAJOR) comes out!! They seriously are on something....
Okay, THE OC is on tonight!! *claps enthusiastically*.  YEAH!! And REUNION!! (omg...very suspenseful and good show.)  Fox has some very good shows that I highly recommend.
Bones is on Tuesday at 8 (eastern time), and then house on tuesday at 9 (EST time).  Then wednesday I watch Freddie and Lost. (DID SHANNON DIE?  Because on the previews of last nights episode they said that someone will be lost forever and I thought it'd be soyer b/c he got shot....).  Then thursday I watch The oc and then Reunion.  Then Friday is PRISON BREAK!! Okay, well, those are just some of my favs and my oh my have I gone quite off topic.  So, have a nice night!

WHAT THE (BEEEEPPP) READ THIS!!!

OMFG!!! I'm so pissed right now.  You have NO CLUE!!! If you've been to open.your.eyes.' homepage lately, you'll know how mad she is with this and now how mad I am!!!
Quizilla, apparently, has made the rules more strict for stories and what they have to be rated.
I was just going through my quizzes and editing them as much as possible and a message popped up that said that my quiz (WHICH IS PART SEVEN) is too "mature" so they've made it ADULT...there ISN'T VERY BAD LANGUAGE IN THERE!! IT'S NOT LIKE NONE OF US HAS EVER HEARD THE WORD "SHIT" OR "DAMMMIT" BEFORE???  C'MON!! PROBABLY MORE THAN HALF OF MY READERS USE THOSE WORDS!
So, my point is that even though it may be rated "A" for Adult, don't think that there's like a grossly animated sex scene in there...which I don't know when that will come in but when AND IF it comes, it won't be graphic and gross...
So, screw quizilla and on with my quizzes...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hey everyone!!
Happy halloween!! Even though it's almost over and I have a pillowcase full of candy.  I know that if you read my memo in my quizzes it said that I would have a one-shot scary story....well....not exactly sure if I'll do that now...kinda past the season and I would've done it so much sooner but we didn't get our computer back until Saturday and then I had a swim meet and then Halloween (and my effing teacher gave us effing math hw which I'm sure to regret not doing in the morning....) came up so I just lost track of time and by tomorrow (which is the official countdown to Thanksgiving which starts the official Holiday season) I will not want to do it anymore so i'm not going to.  Sorry to everyone who wanted and annticipated a halloween spooky story by me.  Expect one out for Christmas though...maybe it'll be a HP one or maybe just a real-life sorta thing...but I'm definitely doing one...not sure if I'll have a one shot out before then but w/e.
Anywho, Have a great and safe halloween if you haven't gone yet (I'm not sure who reads this and in what part of the world but in my world it's 9:40 pm.) and eat candy!!!!  lol

October 15, 2005

wow....bored already...and this is a long post...

alrighty then...let me tell you what's been going on.
Right now it's 1:08.  I should be in bed now because I'm exaughsted but that goes to show that I have no life because I stay up all night on the computer reading quizilla quizzes.  But I seriously couldn't help myself though...I read this amazing story by open.your.eyes. called Daughter of the Mofia.  It's like a Romeo and Juliet story except without the whole Shakesperian thing...and it's present day mob scene.  Really, really good.
I saw Elizabethtown tonight and...Oh...My...GAWD!!! Was Orlando Bloom hott or WHAT????  There were very funny parts in there that just made me laugh out loud because I never pictured Orli doing something like that.  He's just so adorable with his American accent.  Kirsten Dunst is great too...I don't think I can think of anyone else better than her for Claire, who is so outgoing and random it's awesome.  I LOVED this movie...it's one of the best I've seen...I wish more movies like these came out more often...seriously.  I don't remember when another movie like this one came out...I liked the Notebook otherwise the 'Chick Flicks' that have come out haven't exactly been great...they've been dumb, blonde-bimbo ones.  Except, people say that In Her Shoes is good but...haven't seen that one which is surprsing seeing as I have no life and go see movies almost everyother weekend....but anyway, sorta off topic.  I loved Orlando Bloom in this movie.
What else was I going to talk about?  Oh yeah...my storyNL4LAH....well....uh....it's kinda sad to say this but i've gotten bored of it...it seems like no one likes it and i sorta have a....mild...writers block.  *SIGH* I HATE THESE!! I mean, I planned all my details out but this story just seems so normal..like people have said that it reminds them of TessSanderson's quizzes which i didn't want it to be!!!  I want it to be unique but there are so many of these stories out there that really only one of them makes it big and people are always talking about it.....i want to write a story that's so unique and original it will be like one of those passionately dubbed "classic quizilla quizzes".  Like Daughter of the Mofia (as stated above) seems to be in the making of one of those.  It's great.  So original and unique you have to think to yourself "Now, why didn't I think of that?"  I don't know what I'm going to do...I just don't see myself writing a HP quiz.  i mean, I'll have to still write it otherwise my readers will probably throw rocks at me or something (lol only joking!) but i still need to come up with something fresh, new, and exciting....I also don't like my homepage layout.  it's just so blah and it just (for lack of better word) SUCKS!! I want it cool looking...something that relates to me and my personality which is...random...and...weird...   Ah...well...I just have so many problems tonight, don't I?  *grrrr*.  I need to figure out how I'm going to write my story...and what I'm going to do.  If you have ANY SUGGESTIONS !! Any AT ALL!! Please feel free to message me...PLEASE!! Thanks.
-Brook-
p.s. oh and check out open.your.eyes. too please!
